ANDREWS — Odessa Eaves, 81, of Weatherford, retired owner and operator of Red Barn Barbeque and Odessa’s Barbeque in Andrews, died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Campbell Health Systems in Weatherford.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews Old cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Coalgate, Okla., and had been a resident of Andrews before moving to Weatherford in 2001.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Georgia Perkins of Andrews, Faye Eaves of Albuquerque, N.M., and Elaine Massey of Weatherford; son, Terry Eaves of Santa Clarita, Calif.; sisters, Frances Parsley of Durant, Okla., and Donna Stealey of Seminole, Okla.; 12 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

SARAGOSA — Ruben Martinez, 50, of Saragosa died Sunday, April 28, 2002, at Big Spring State Hospital in Big Spring.

She was born in Ojinaga, Mexico.

ALPINE — Virginia Smith, 87, of Alpine, a homemaker, died Wednesday, April 24, 2002, at a local nursing home.

She was born in South Bend, Ind., and was a resident of Alpine for 60 years.
