Beatrice Fuentes

MIDLAND - Beatrice 'Betty' Fuentes, 60, of Midland, a crossing guard for the city of Midland, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, at a local hospital after a lengthy illness.

Rosary will be said at 7 tonight at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel. Mass will be celebrated at 3 p.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Deacon Jesse Guajardo officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.

She was born in Marfa and moved to Midland from Marfa. She was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Marcelino Fuentes Sr. of Midland; sons, Marcelino 'Moose' Fuentes Jr. and David Fuentes, both of Midland; daughters, Sylvia Hignojos of Houston and Graciela Avila of Midland; brothers, Manuel 'Lelo' Holguin and Domingo 'Mingo' Holguin, both of Midland, Arturo Holguin of Odessa, David Holguin of Bartow, Enrique Holguin of San Angelo, and Angel Holguin and Ernest 'Neto' Holguin, both of Lubbock; sisters, Elidia Olgin, Carolina Holguin, Margarita Paiz and Yolanda Ramirez, all of Midland; and nine grandchildren.

G.M. Fuller

ODESSA - G.M. 'Gib' Fuller, 84, of Odessa, a retired driller, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at Hill County Hospital in Hillsboro.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at University Park Baptist Church with the Rev. Johnny Witherspoon officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Hamilton-Beeman cemetery in Corsicana. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.

He was born in Navarro County and moved to Odessa in 1943. He was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Louise Fuller of Odessa; sons, William Fuller of Okmulgee, Okla., Wilbert Fuller of Odessa; brothers, Henry Fuller of Tyler and Doyle Fuller of Nashville, Tenn.; sisters, Beatrice Young of Dallas and Geneva Summers of Cedar Hill; eight grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Peter Heinrich

MIDLAND - Peter G. Heinrich, 71, of Midland, a retired geophysicist, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at a local hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Ellis Funeral Home Chapel with Gale Wilson officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.

He was born in St. Louis and moved to Midland in 1982. He was an Army veteran.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Orfelina Heinrich of Midland; son, Jose F. Laurel of Houston; daughters, Alma West and Delfy Selgado, both of Midland, Nina Heinrich of Arlington and Kandall Heinrich of Odessa; brothers, Robert Heinrich of Lakeland, Fla., and George Heinrich of Dervey, Kan.; and seven grandchildren.

Betty Jennings

ANDREWS - Betty 'Mazy' Jennings, 57, of Andrews, a retired truck driver, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 1998, at Permian General Hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Dan Street officiating. Burial will be at Lee Day cemetery in Coleman County. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home Inc.

She was born in Ballinger and moved to Andrews seven years ago from Lampasas.

SURVIVORS: Daughters, Jennifer Capes of Columbia, La., Angelia Holland of Plano, Holly Guinon of El Paso and Poppy Dirickson of Lewisville; son, Bunky Capes of Lindale; brother, Dean Grissett of Fort Stockton; sisters, Doris Elder of Fort Davis, Maxine Henry of Lampasas and Sharon Wallace of Andrews; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Billy Triplett

PINE BLUFF, Ark. - Billy Ray Triplett, 67, of Odessa, retired owner and operated of Billy Triplett Co,, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 1998, at Medical Center Hospital.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors with the Rev. Nathan Perry officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Arrangements by Ralph Robinson and Son Funeral Directors.

He was born in Pine Bluff, Ark., and moved to Odessa in 1952. He was a Navy veteran of World War II and Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Mother, Johnie M. Triplett of White Hall, Ark.; brother, James Triplett of North Little Rock, Ark.; sisters, Marilyn Quick and Beverly Valentine, both of White Hall.

Patricia Chiles

MIDLAND - Patricia J. Chiles, 66, of Midland, a homemaker, died Tuesday, Jan. 20, 1998, at her residence.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Fairmont Park Church of Christ with Ralph Gates officiating. Burial will be at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements by Ellis Funeral Home.

She was born in Blackwell, Okla., and moved to Midland in 1993. She was a member of the Church of the Christ.

SURVIVORS: Sons, David Chiles of Midland, Kenneth Chiles of Hobbs, N.M.; daughter, Diane Brimer of Midland; and five grandchildren.

Petra Gonzales

PECOS - Petra F. Gonzales, 67, of Pecos, a homemaker, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at Pecos Nursing Home.

Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with the Rev. Juan Narez officiating. Rosary was said Tuesday at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

She was born in Balmorhea and was Catholic.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Felis Gonzales of Pecos; sons, Bonifacio Garcia and Jesus Gonzales, both of Pecos; daughter, Frances Leyva of Carlsbad, N.M.; brother, Eulaio Fuentez Jr. of Pecos; sister, Manuela Martinez of Pecos; and five grandchildren.

Mona Mauldin

PECOS - Mona Mauldin, 46, of Pecos, an office manager for an insurance company, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at Reeves County Hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Les Woodard officiating. Burial will be at Mount Evergreen cemetery. Arrangements by Pecos Funeral Home.

She was born in Brownfield and had lived in Pecos since 1965. She was Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Husband, Johnny Mauldin of Pecos; daughters, Mandy Hardwick of Alpine, Cindy Mauldin of Pecos; son, John Mauldin of Odessa; parents, Oscar and Norma Skurlock of Terrell; brothers, Michael Smith of Seattle and Dale Smith of Menard; sisters, Brenda Skurlock of Terrell and Francis Cope of Big Spring.

Jacinta Natera

ODESSA - Jacinta R. Natera, 75, of Kermit died Wednesday, Jan. 21, 1998, at her residence.

Services are pending with Martinez Funeral Home.

Billy Ferguson

DURANT, Okla. - Billy C. Ferguson, 77, of Inglewood, Calif., an inspector for Lockheed Aircraft, died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998, at Centinela Hospital in Inglewood, Calif.

Graveside services were held Jan. 17, 1998, at Highland cemetery with the Rev. Carrell Hooper officiating. Arrangements by Dalton-Holmes Funeral Home.

He was born in Bokchito, Okla., and moved to Los Angeles in 1938 from Durant, Okla.

SURVIVORS: Brothers, Neal Ferguson of Odessa, Herschel Ferguson of Durant, Okla.; and sister, Mabel Lewis of Norman, Okla.

Willard Gladson

SNYDER - Willard B. Gladson, 81, of Snyder, an oilfield contractor, died Monday, Jan. 19, 1998, at Memorial Hospital in Midland after a brief illness.

Services were held Wednesday at First Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Marty Akins officiating. Burial was in Snyder cemetery. Arrangements by Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

He was born in Snyder and was a Baptist.

SURVIVORS: Wife, Flora Vida Gladson of Snyder; sons, Ronal Gladson of Snyder, Royce Gladson of Odessa; daughters, Janis Page of Snyder, Judith Rousseau of Atlanta, Texas and Gayna Cowan of San Marcos; foster son, Doug Heaster of Amarillo; sister, Bessie Early of Snyder; 13 grandchildren, two foster grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Dow Moseley

ANDREWS - Dow Moseley, 83, of Andrews, a retired employee of Andrews County, died Thursday, Jan. 22, 1998, at his residence.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with Leslie Gross Jr. officiating. Cremation arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.

He was born in Haskell County and moved to Andrews in 1955. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

SURVIVORS: Son, Gary Moseley of Midland; and one grandson.
