ANDREWS — Tommy Gatlin, 38, of Gary, a welding technician, died Monday, April 15, 2002, at Spring Branch Medical Center in Houston.
Services will be at 4 p.m. today at Grace Baptist Church with the Rev. Ted Short officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
He was born in Andrews and moved to Gary from Monroe, La. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, JoAnna Gatlin of Gary; sons, John Asa Gatlin, Thomas Austin Gatlin and Paul Glenn Gatlin, all of Gary; daughter, Montanna Reye Gatlin of Gary; parents, John W. and Lavoyce Gatlin of Gary and Patricia and Howard Grice of Monahans; brothers, Robert W. Gatlin of Orange and Steve D. Rhoades of Irving; sisters, Vicki L. Nall of Odessa, Delana D. Nock of Carthage, Vicki D. FORT STOCKTON — Patricia “Pat” Ann Garcia Parras, 30, of Fort Stockton, an employee of Dr. Cordero’s Medical Office in Fort Stockton, died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church with the Rev. David Herrera officiating. Rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at the Fort Stockton Catholic cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
She was born in Fort Stockton.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Glenn Parras of Fort Stockton; son, Vincent Parras of Fort Stockton; daughter, Viana Parras of Fort Stockton; mother, Elodia Garcia of Fort Stockton; and brother, Jacob Garcia of Fort Stockton.

Ollie Talent
ANDREWS — Ollie Harrell Talent, 84, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Wednesday, April 17, 2002, at Andrews Healthcare Center in Andrews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at McNett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Sandra Keith officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Red River County and moved to Andrews in 1941 from Patricia. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, John Talent of Justin; sisters, Irene Houge of Lamesa and Katie Templeton of White House; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Jerry Goodwin
DENVER CITY — Jerry Goodwin, 58, died Thursday, May 23, 2002, in Farmington, N.M.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. at Denver City Memorial Park in Denver City. Arrangements by Ratliff Funeral Home in Denver City.
He was born in Childress. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Lisa Childress and Susie McGuire, both of Wink; mother, Marie Goodwin of Aztec, N.M.; sister, Reta Goodwin of Farmington; brothers, Cliff Goodwin of Aztec and David Goodwin of Bloomfield, N.M.; and five grandchildren.

D.R. Perry
ONALASKA — D.R. Perry, 90, died Thursday, May 23, 2002 at Memorial Medical Center-Livingston in Livingston.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska with Wendell Key officiating. Burial will follow in the Magnolia cemetery in Onalaska. Arrangements by Cochran Funeral Home.
He was born in Champion.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Lillie Perry of Onalaska; sons, Robert D. Perry of Midland, and Ronald Wayne Perry of Ennis; daughters, Mary Helen Biggerstaff and Martha Ann Jevas, both of Friendswood; step-sons Gillette Doolan of Pasadena, Calif., And Curtis Doolan of Spring; 20 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren.

ODESSA — Gary Michael Klecker, 56, died May 17, 2002, in Prescott, Ariz.
Services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Rosary will be said at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home.
He was born in Plum City, Wis. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Son, David Klecker of Shreveport, La.; daughter, Kristina Klecker Rogy of New Hope, Penn.; brothers, Brion Thomas Klecker of Naples, Fla., and Guy Patrick Klecker of Odessa; sisters, Jeanene Klecker of Minneapolis, Md., and Elegra Klecker of Henderson, Nev.; stepbrother, Rick Weiss of Eau Claire, Wis.; stepsister, Linda Rask of Spring Grove, Minn.; and a grandson.

He was born in Terlingua and was a longtime resident of McCamey. He was Catholic.

He was born in Archer County.

DELEON - Mills Clemons Purvis, 83, of DeLeon, a farmer, died Friday, April 19, 2002, at DeLeon Nursing Home.

He was born in Proctor. He was Methodist.

ODESSA - Trinidad Armendariz, 82, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at Desert View Manor Nursing Home in Crane.

She was born in Saragosa and was a lifelong resident of Odessa. She was Catholic.

He was born in Electra and moved to Odessa in 1957. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was Methodist.
