BIG SPRING — Paula T. Martinez, 73, of Big Spring, a homemaker, died Saturday, April 6, 2002, at Scenic Mountain Medical Center.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Big Spring. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at Myers & Smith Chapel. Burial will be at Mount Olive Memorial Park. Arrangements by Myers & Smith Funeral Home.
She was born in Mendoza and moved to Big Spring from Austin in 1949. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Victor H. Martinez Sr. of Big Spring; sons, Victor Martinez Jr., Ruben Martinez and Jessie Martinez, all of Big Spring, and Mike T. Martinez of Dallas; daughters, Rosa Flores, Maria Rodriguez, Lolly Martinez, Gloria Rodriguez and Janie Paige, all of Big Spring, and Isabel Haro of Manteca, Calif.; brothers, Felix Trejo and Marcos Trejo, both of Austin; sisters, Vivian Trejo and Susie Garcia, both of Austin, Chavela Ortiz of Grand Prairie, Dolores Martinez of Stanton and Lydia Castillo of Lubbock; 45 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

Elisha Snodgrass
ODESSA — Elisha Snodgrass, 82, of Odessa, a retired supervisor of the City of Odessa Sanitation Department, died Saturday, April 6, 2002, at Hospice House.
Services will be at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home with the Rev. Clydell Chapman officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
He was born in Coleman County and was a Midland resident before moving to Odessa in 1936. He was an Air Force veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Wanda Snodgrass of Odessa; son, David Spenser of Odessa; daughter, Sherry Wingate of Odessa; sisters, Peggy Lutrull of Brownwood and Grace Huff of Odessa; and five grandchildren.

Pauline Chapman
ODESSA — Eunice Pauline Chapman, 88, of Odessa died Sunday, April 7, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services are pending with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

ANDREWS — Peggy L. Wetzel, 73, of Andrews died Sunday, April 7, 2002, at Permian General Hospital.

Joyce Brown
MONAHANS — Joyce Brown, 49, of Monahans, a homemaker, died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Third and Dwight Church of Christ with Greg Holly officiating. Burial will be at the Monahans Memorial cemetery. Arrangements by Harkey Funeral Home.
She was born in New Orleans. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Husband, T.C. Brown of Monahans; son, Thomas Brown of Monahans; brother, Willie Jones of Odessa; and sisters, Lilly May Baily of Pecos, Connie Bennett of Austell, Ga., and Martha Rector of Dallas.

Fidencio Guevara
MIDLAND — Fidencio Natividad Guevara, 71, of Midland, a custodian at Midland Park Mall, died Friday, April 19, 2002, at Memorial Hospital and Medical Center in Midland.
Services will be at a later date in Ojinaga, Mexico. Arrangements by Reyes-Garcia Funeral Home.
He was born in Manuel Benavides, Mexico. He was a member of the Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Felisitas Guevara of Midland; sons, Moises Guevara of Midland and Enrique Guevara of Ojinaga; daughters, Lourdes Leyva, Fabiola Padilla, Victoria Alatorre and Rosa Morales, all of Midland; brothers, Domingo Guevara and Ramon Guevara, both of Manuel Benavides, and Gregorio Guevara of Odessa; 16 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

ODESSA — Dorothy McCann, 85, of Odessa, a retired nurse’s aide, died Friday, April 19, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in the chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Francis Frey officiating. Burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Mount Marion cemetery in Strawn. Arrangements by Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors.
SURVIVORS: Son, Michael Stephen McCann of Odessa; daughter, Betty Enabnit of Phoenix; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

FORT STOCKTON — Alexia Ann Rios, an infant, of Fort Stockton died Thursday, April 18, 2002, at Pecos County Memorial Hospital in Fort Stockton.

ODESSA — Jimmie L. Stoglin Sr., 75, of Odessa, a retired truck driver for Mayflower Moving Co., died Tuesday, April 16, 2002, at Veterans Administration Medical Center in Big Spring.
Services will be at 3 p.m. today at St. Matthew Baptist Church with the Rev. Anthony Slack officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
He was born in La Grange. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Sons, Farell Lynn Payne of Denver, Jimmy Rogers Stoglin Jr. and Tommy Earl Stoglin, both of Odessa; daughter, Celesta Kay Pride of Odessa; brother, Sam Rogers of Belton; sister, Annie Black of Taylor; 15 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
