William “Wild Bill” Ensor
ODESSA — William “Wild Bill” Ensor, 79, of Midland passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at Midland Memorial Hospital and Medical Center. He was born April 18, 1922, to E.E. and Virgie Ensor in Eastland.
Services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, March 4, 2002, at Sunset Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Stacey Fox officiating and assisted by Dub Jenkins. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
“Wild Bill” came to Odessa in 1946. He married
Jessie Collier on Nov. 28, 1969, in Odessa.
His mother, father and a son, Joe Jenkins, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie May Ensor of Fort Worth; stepsons, Dub Jenkins of Mesquite, Harold Jenkins and Jimmy Jenkins, both of Odessa; stepdaughters, Betty Marsh and Jeri Fox, both of Fort Worth; 18 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.
Services are under the directions of Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Martin Fierro
ODESSA — Martin Fierro, 35, a shop hand for TMBR, where he was employed for five years, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. Mr. Fierro was born Oct. 29, 1966, in Pecos to Manuel and Socorro Fierro.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Carlos Fierro, and grandmother, Socorro Lujan.
He is survived by his wife, Josie Fierro; his father, Manuel Fierro; his mother, Socorro Fierro; son, Martin Fierro Jr. of Odessa; daughters, Breana Fierro and Iris E. Fierro, both of Odessa; grandmother, Reynalda Fierro of Pecos; grandfather, Crispin Payen of Odessa; sisters, Cecilia Guebara and husband Joey, Socorro Zuniga and husband Miguel and Rosa Santillan, all of Odessa; brothers, Manuel Fierro and wife Estella, Carlos Fierro, Ruben Fierro and wife Vickie and Albert Martinez, all of Odessa; four nieces, Mirella Fierro, Ashley Guebara, Ruby Fierro and Isabel Fierro, all of Odessa; and 14 nephews, Manuel Fierro Jr. III, Phillip Fierro, Joe Manuel Guebara, Adam Guebara, Carlos Fierro, Martin Fierro, Ruben Fierro, Ruben Anthony Fierro, Felix Fierro, Manuel Zuniga, Michael Zuniga, Angel Zuniga, Noel Fierro and Zachary Fierro, all of Odessa.
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. today at Martinez Funeral Home with rosary said at 7 p.m.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 6, 2002, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with the Rev. Mark Woodruff officiating. Burial will be at Ector County cemetery.

KERMIT — Clister Jo Bland, 89, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at the Hospice House in Odessa.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Grace Temple Baptist Church with Gordon Oglesby officiating. Burial will be at 2 p.m. today at the Andrews Old cemetery in Andrews. Arrangements by Cooper Funeral Chapel.
She was born in Tula, Miss., and had been a resident of Gardendale. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Fred Bland of Kermit; son, Ray Bland of Crane; daughter, Betty Mann of Kermit; sister, Thelma Montgomery of Oxford, Miss.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Clyde Elliott
FORT STOCKTON — Clyde Cecil Elliott, 86, of Wickett, a retired contract welder, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Fort Stockton Nursing Center in Fort Stockton.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Krueger and Wendell Elliott officiating. Burial will be at East Hill cemetery. Arrangements by Fort Stockton Funeral Home.
He was born in Achille, Okla., and was a resident of Ward County since 1974.

McCAMEY — Salvador B. Holguin Sr., 55, of McCamey, an oilfield pumper, died Friday, May 17, 2002, at his residence.

KERMIT — Ruby R. Olsen, 97, of Kermit, a homemaker, died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Kermit Health Care Center.

She was born in Indian Territory, Okla., and was a resident of Kermit for 66 years. She was Apostolic.
