EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. — Loretta Robinette, 87, of Edwardsville, Ill., a retired bookkeeper, died Saturday, April 27, 2002, at Rosewood Care Center in Edwardsville.
Services were April 30 at Saksa Mateer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James Coode officiating. Burial was at Sunset Hill cemetery in Glen Carbon, Ill. Arrangements by Saksa Mateer Funeral Home.
She was born in St. Louis.
SURVIVORS: Sisters, Ruby Geers of Edwardsville, Joyce Yates of Odessa and Helen Bell of Granite City, Ill.

Gertrude Thomas
ODESSA — Gertrude Angie Thomas, 93, of Colorado Springs, Colo., a retired real estate broker, died Saturday, May 4, 2002, at Laurel Manor Nursing Home in Colorado Springs.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
She was born in Hamilton and had been a resident of Odessa. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Richard Wade Thomas of Cripple Creek, Colo.; daughters, Sara Jane Hicks of Odessa and Sue McAdams of Australia; sister, Wilma Howell of Kemp; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Ofelia Bustamante
ANDREWS - Ofelia Bustamante, 84, of Andrews, a homemaker, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at her residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating. Burial will be at the Andrews North cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in Mulato, Mexico, and moved to Andrews in 1954. She was Catholic.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Jesus Bustamante of Andrews; sons, Edwardo Bustamante, Jose Bustamante, Petronilo Bustamante, Nate Bustamante and Alfredo Bustamante, all of Andrews, and Armondo Bustamante of Presidio; daughters, Eulalia Dominguez of Marfa, Elia Gomez and Luzmila Garcia, both of Midland, and Rosario Olivas of Andrews; brothers, Eulogio Acosta, Eliazer Acosta, Enrique Acosta, Emilio Acosta, Elizardo Acosta and Edmundo Acosta, all of Andrews; sisters, Lidia Molinar and Rosa Vasquez, both of Andrews, and Consuelo Lujan of Odessa; 33 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.

Bernabe Cadena
ALPINE - Bernabe Taylor “Bone” Cadena, 90, of El Paso, a retired carpenter, died Thursday, Feb. 14, 2002, at an El Paso nursing home.
Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. today at Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with the Rev. Rick Ruiz officiating. Burial will be at Holy Angels cemetery. Arrangements by Geeslin Funeral Home.
He was born in Alpine and was a resident of El Paso since 1955.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Delia Gallardo and Tita Candy Cadena, both of El Paso; sons, Bernabe Cadena Jr. and Xeoxre Cadena Sotelo, both of El Paso; sister, Elidia Brito of El Paso; brothers, John Joe Cadena of Alpine, Cosme Cadena and Fred Cadena, both of El Paso, Charlie Cadena of Albuquerque, N.M., Rudy Cadena of La Luz, N.M., and Henry Cadena of Tennessee; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Joyce Glover
ANDREWS - Joyce J. Glover, 66, of Big Spring, a retired bank teller, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, in Ruidoso, N.M.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Andrews West cemetery. Arrangements by McNett Funeral Home.
She was born in English and had been a resident of Andrews before moving to Big Spring. She was Presbyterian.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Deborah Jaimes of El Paso and Kathy Applin of Ruidoso; sister, Lillie Peck of Avery; six grandchildren; and a great-grandson.

Henry Gonzales
MARFA - Henry Rice Gonzales, 62, of Marfa, a natural gas operator, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at his residence.
Mass will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church. Burial will be at Merced cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Marfa. He was an Army veteran.
SURVIVORS: Son, Michael Gonzales of Las Cruces, N.M.; daughter, Michele Gonzales of Jal, N.M.; brothers, Frank Gonzales of Marfa, Bill Gonzales of Lubbock and Joe Ruben Gonzales of La Mesa, N.M.; sisters, Betty Machuca of Las Cruces, Esther Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Mary Jane Mendoza, Linda Rojo and Cinderela Guevara, all of Marfa, Norma Granado of Fort Davis, Cecilia Gonzales of Nashville, Tenn., and Sylvia Cano of Alpine; and two grandchildren.

ODESSA - William Lee Jordan Sr., 96, of Odessa, a retired oilfield tool pusher, died Sunday, Feb. 17, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
He was born in Lott and moved to Odessa in 1941.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Eunice Jordan of Odessa; sons, William Lee Jordan Jr. of Lake Dallas and Roy Daniel Jordan of Cleburne; daughter, Thelma Lou Jordan of Odessa; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Ruby McCollough
ODESSA - Ruby Sarah McCollough, 91, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Bradford, Pa., and moved to Odessa in 1992 from Fort St. Lucie, Fla. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Son, Leeland McCollough of Hebe Sound, Fla.; daughter, Sally Zinz of Oil City, Pa.; and sister, Virginia Foster of Odessa.

Minnie Mitchell
MORAN - Minnie M. Mitchell, 93, of Shackelford, a homemaker, died Friday, Feb. 15, 2002, at Bluebonnet Nursing Home in Shackelford.
Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at the Moran Church of Christ with Jack Clack officiating. Burial was at Johnson cemetery. Arrangements by Morehart Mortuary.
She was born in Moran. She was Pentecostal.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Marie Proctor of Odessa and Polly Stockton of Albany; eight grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

Barbara Pavey
ODESSA - Barbara Jean Pavey, 64, of Odessa, a retired employee of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin, died Monday, Feb. 18, 2002, at her residence.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jack Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Sharla Pavey of Odessa and Belinda Pavey of Midland; and sister, Carolyn Honeycutt of Garland.

Freddie Walker
CRANE - Freddie Walker, 63, of Crane, a retired employee of Chevron/Texaco, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at Crane Memorial Hospital in Crane.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Mount Zion Baptist Church with the Rev. H.A. Bowens officiating. Burial will follow at the Crane County cemetery. Arrangements by Memorial Services.
He was born in Royce City. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Julia Mae Walker of Crane; sons, Frederick Walker of Haskell, Okla., Darren Louis Walker of Milwaukee, Augusta Eugene Walker and Kenny Wayne Walker, both of Fairbanks, Alaska; daughters, Frieda Joyce Woods and Laurie Ann Smith, both of Crane, and Tammy Joseph of Hobbs, N.M.; brother, David Louis Walker of Mesquite; 17 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Huntington, Utah. She was Mormon.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Stephanie Spry of Wichita, Kan., and Nancy Moulton of Andrews; brother, Gary Colby of Salt Lake City; sisters, LaVee Pierce and Elaine Colby, both of Salt Lake City; and five grandchildren.

ODESSA — Florence Marie Wingate, 81, of Odessa, a homemaker, died Monday, March 25, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

She was born in Prescott County, Ark. She was Baptist.
