Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa. Burial will follow.
She was born in Mount Vernon, N.Y., and was a resident of Odessa. SURVIVORS: Daughters, Margaret Kirk or Enid, Okla., and Linda Ables of Belton; sons, Early Laughlin Jr. of New York, Kenneth Laughlin of Long Beach, Calif., Richard Laughlin of Odessa, Fred Laughlin of Brighton, Colo., Thurman Laughlin of Brighton, Colo., and John Laughlin of Ashdown, Ark.; one brother, Frederick Broege of New York; 20 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
Era Blancet
ODESSA - Era Lee Skiles Blancet, 85, a homemaker, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at New Horizons Nursing Home.
Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Monday at New Hope cemetery in Stanford with the Rev. Robert Brooks officiating. Arrangements by Hubbard-Kelly Funeral Home.
Blancet was born in Bell County and was a resident of Odessa. She was Baptist.

ODESSA - Kathy Delene Chandler, 37, of Odessa died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Hubbard Kelly Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born in Odessa.

Melvin Hannah
MONAHANS - Melvin Hannah, 75, a retired Exxon empolyee, died Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, at his home in Monahans.
Services will be at First Baptist Church in Monahans with burial to follow in Monahans Memorial cemetery with Masonic graveside rites.
Hannah was born in Normangee and was a resident of Monahans and a World War II veteran.
SURVIVORS: Daughter, Delores Fine of Monahans; son Charles Hannah of Monahans; brother, Brady Hannah or Porter; sisters, Orene Hooper of Houston, and Imogene Bledsoe of Sweeny; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Ruth Goree
GRANBURY - Ruth Goree, 70, a retired teacher, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997 in Benbrook.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, at Wiley Funeral Chapel in Granbury. Burial will follow in Granbury cemetery.
Goree retired in 1980 and resided in Granbury since 1995. She was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Husband, William Goree, of Granbury; sons, Paul Goree, of Fort Collins, Colo., and John Goree, of Iowa City, Iowa; sister, Jane Brown, of Giddings; and two grandchildren.
Jim Marcum
MONAHANS - Jim Marcum, 68, a retired communications technician, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at his residence following a long illness.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at First Baptist Church in Monahans with burial to follow at Monahans Memorial cemetery.
Marcum was born in Claremore, Okl., and was a veteran of the Air Force. He was Baptist.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Jewel Marcum of Monahans; sons, Bradley Marcum of Greenville, Scottie Marcum of Monahans and Bradley Marcum of Dallas; one daughter, Robin Shirley of Monahans; brother, Gene Alan Marcum of Kingfisher, Okl.; and eight grandchildren.

ANDREWS - Maria Perez Garcia, 71, a homemaker, of Andrews died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at Permian General Hospital in Andrews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Andrews with the Rev. Bernard Gully officiating.
Garcia was born in Sanderson and was a homemaker. She was Catholic.

Minnie Shackelford
ODESSA - Minnie V. Shackelford, 90, of Odessa died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at Medical Center Hospital.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the Chapel of Frank W. Wilson Funeral Directors with the Rev. Ricky Barkowsky officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Shackelford was born in Whiteflat and came to Odessa in 1959. She was Methodist.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Norma Jean Nichols of Ackerly, Kathleen Stanley of Houston, Darlene Barkowsky of Lamesa; sons, Howard Glen Shackelford of Odessa, Jimmy Lee Shackelford of Odessa, and Wayne Shackelford of Midland; sister, Katy Lynn of California; twenty grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Librada Tarin
KERMIT - Librada Tarin, 91, a homemaker, of Kermit died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital in Kermit.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Kermit, with Father Ralph Barringer officiating. Burial will follow in the Kermit cemetery.
She was born in Mexico.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Petra Carrasco of Kermit, Isabel Marquez of Kermit and Eva Carrasco of San Antonio; son, Felipe Tarin of Kermit; sister, Juana Valenzuela of Mulato, Mexico; 34 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren.

She was born in Ferris and was a resident of Fort Worth. She was Baptist.

She was born in Hartley and was a resident of Seminole. She was Baptist.
