ODESSA - Lois French, 68, a homemaker, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, at her residence.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Westover Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Wright officiating. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by Odessa Funeral Home Angeles Memorial Chapel.
She was born in Menco, Okla., and was a resident of Odessa.
SURVIVORS: Husband, Roy French of Odessa; sons, David French of Granbury and Randy French and Carrol French, both of Abilene; daughters, Joann French of Odessa, Linda Thorp of Junction, Charon Fisher of Azle and Charlotte Flora of Cleveland, Texas; 25 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.
Donald Hargitt
MEADE, Kan. - Donald Lee Hargitt, 67, a retired electrical lineman and construction worker, died Thursday, Oct. 30, 1997, at his residence in Meade.
Services were held Monday at the United Methodist Church in Meade with the Rev. Jim Bush officiating. Burial was at the Graceland cemetery. Arrangements by Fidler-Orme Mortuary.
He was born in Gove County, Kan., and was a resident of Odessa before moving to Meade, Kan., two years ago. He was a Navy veteran.

He was born in Presidio and had been a resident of Barstow since 1944. He was a Catholic.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Francis L. 'Swede' Johnson, 93, a retired electrician, died Friday, Oct. 31, 1997, in Odessa.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Sunset Memorial Park with the Rev. Randy Walquist officiating. Arrangements by French Mortuary.
He was born in Ogden, Iowa, and had been a resident of Odessa for five years. He was a Methodist.

LAS VEGAS - Marshall Lynn Simmons, 58, a self-employed janitor, died Wednesday, Oct. 29, 1997, at Sunrise Mountain View Hospital in Las Vegas.

He was born in Vivian, La. He was a former resident of Odessa and a 20-year resident of Las Vegas. He was a Jehovah's Witness.

RANGER - Ida Deeon Clough, 69, a homemaker, died Monday, Nov. 3, 1997, in Ranger.

She was born in Wink and had been a resident of Ranger since 1984. She was a member of the Assembly of God.

She was born in Sanderson and moved to Andrews in 1952. She was Catholic.

She was born in Magnet, Neb., and moved to Odessa in 1981 from Grandfalls.
