Georgia Mae Redd
ODESSA — Georgia Mae Redd, 66, of Odessa passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital. She was born March 1, 1935, in Campwood to Calvin and Avie Allbright.
She was a lifelong resident of Odessa. She had been a waitress for most of her life and worked at Pojo’s Restaurant. She enjoyed gardening and reading her Bible.
Her husband, Ramzie Redd; son, Randy Lynn Redd; and brother, J.T. Allbright preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Joseph Redd of Odessa; daughter, Jan Redd of Austin; brother, J.W. Allbright and wife Beverly of Odessa; sisters, Janice Allbright of Odessa, Lewis Reynolds of Fort Worth and Janet Reiley of Odessa; grandchildren, D.J. Redd and Raney Redd; and a great-grandchild, Christopher.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2002, at Sherwood Church of Christ with Mr. Lynn Money officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
