He was born in Bosque County.

SEMINOLE - Mary Smith, 71, a homemaker, of Seminole died Tuesday, Nov. 4, 1997, at Sherwood Place in Odessa.
Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Westside Church of Christ with Don Turskey of Odessa and Don Fleming of Seminole officiating. Burial will follow in Gaines County Memorial cemetery under the direction of Boyer Funeral Home.
She was born in Little Elm, and moved to Dumas with her family at age 13. She was a member of Westside Church of Christ.
SURVIVORS: Daughters, Mary Jo Kendall of Carrollton, Susie Turskey of Odessa and Sara Blake of Katy; sister, Gladys Barnes of Ben Wheeler; and six grandchildren.

MCCAMEY - Malcolm Stephens Sr., 66, of Jonesboro, Ga., formerly of McCamey, died Sunday, Nov. 2, 1997, in Decatur, Ga.

He was born in Iraan and was a Navy veteran.

BARSTOW - David W. Bryant, 66, a retired trucking manager, former resident of Van Horn and Pecos, died Wednesday, Nov. 5, 1997, in Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix.

He was born in South Bend, Ind.

LUBBOCK - Hubert Odom, 82, owner and operator of Odom Food Market in Anton, of Anton died Thursday, Nov. 6, 1997, at his residence.

He was born in Washburn, and had been a resident of Lubbock since 1960 after moving from Odessa. He was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.

He was born in Sands and moved to Seminole in 1949 from Lubbock. He was a former member of the Lions Club and Chamber of Commerce.
