ODESSA — Douglas H. James, 77, of Odessa, a retired Expert Fishing Tools employee, died Thursday, Aug. 8, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Corsicana and had been a resident of Pampa before moving to Odessa in 1940. He was a World War II U.S. Army Air Force veteran.

KERMIT — Octaviano F. Towns, 96, of Odessa, a retired carpenter, died Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2002, at Winkler County Memorial Hospital.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be at Kermit cemetery. Rosary will be said at 7 p.m. today at the church.
He was born in Eagle Pass.

ODESSA — Theodore Walter Zolyn, 75, of Odessa, an electronics technician and a television repair shop owner, died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2002, at his residence.

He was born in New Britain, Conn. He served in the U.S. Military for four years beginning in 1949.

ODESSA — William Henry “Bill” McCullough, 70, of Odessa, a sales manager in the oil industry, died Thursday, Aug. 1, 2002, at Medical Center Hospital.

He was born in Sidney and came to Odessa 50 years ago. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict from 1951 until 1953. He ranched in Comanche County. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
