LANCASTER – Funeral services for Donald “Don” Jones Brashier, 72 of Lancaster, were held at 2 p.m., Jan. 2, 2001 in the Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Lowe officiating.
Born on Sept. 30, 1928 in El Dorado, Ark., the son of Jones Angelo and Annie Kae Burt Brashier, he passed away Dec. 30, 2000 in Lancaster.
He is survived by his wife Betty Brashier of Lancaster; sons Don Brashier of Forney and David Brashier of Lancaster; daughter Linda Haffey of Austin; brother Burt Brashier of El Dorado, Ark. and three grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church in Lancaster or Lancaster Outreach Center.
Interment followed in the Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.
Jewell Marie Bredemeyer

WAXAHACHIE – Graveside services for Jewell Marie Bredemeyer, 89, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2000 at Hillcrest Burial Park with Dr. Richard Reed officiating.
Born on Nov. 12, 1911 in Granger, the daughter of Emmett Bennett and Maggie E. (Smith) Hurst, she passed away in Harrah, Okla.
Preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Bill Bredemeyer and two brothers Jesse and Fred Hurst; she is survived by son Glenn Bredemeyer and wife Sue of Harrah, Okla.; and grandchildren William Bredemeyer of Harrah, Okla. and Ginger McKeel of San Antonio.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Hazel Lorene Clark

RED OAK – Funeral services for Hazel Lorene Clark, 86, were held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2000 at Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel with James Schenrock and Rick Jackson officiating.
Born on Nov. 4, 1914 in Fannin County, the daughter of John and Annie Haney, she passed away Dec. 25, 2000 after suffering from Alzheimer’s Disease for years.
Preceded in death by her husband Kenneth in 1972, daughter Debra Wesson in 1979, son James in 1995 and daughter Betty Conner in 1999; she is survived by son Bill Clark of Red Oak; grandsons Shawn Conner of Gallatin, Tenn., Geoff Wesson of Italy; three great-grandchildren; brother Carl Self of Frost and niece Eloise Dodson of Ennis.
Interment followed in the Red Oak Cemetery under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.
Edsel R. Gerron

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Edsel R. Gerron, 60 of Waxahachie, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 29, 2000 in the chapel of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home.
Born on June 16, 1940 in Bardwell, the son of Ocie Ray and Zula Agnes Venable Gerron, he passed away Dec. 25, 2000 at his residence.
Preceded in death by brother Jerry Wayne Gerron; he is survived by his wife of 41 years Ann Kelly Gerron of Waxahachie; three daughters and sons-in-law Lisa and Robert Ashley, Lori and Scott Allred and Leigh Ann and Greg Pierce all of Waxahachie; eight grandchildren Jordan Brock, Lyndi Ashley, Logan Ashley, Lauren Allred, Landon Pierce, Ashlie Pierce and Gregory Pierce, Jr.; parents Ocie and Zula Gerron of Ennis; sister Joyce Marie Schwartz of Bardwell; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Henry and Willie Ferne Kelly of Waxahachie.
Interment followed in the Waxahachie City Cemetery under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Allie Mae Kiser

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Allie Mae Kiser, 86, were held at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2001 in the Pat Boze Memorial Chapel with Bro. Walter Buchanan officiating.
Born on April 9, 1914 in Houston, the daughter of James Douglas and Gertrude (Covington) Fuller, she passed away Dec. 30, 2000 at Baylor Hospital in Waxahachie.
Preceded in death by her parents, first husband Denny Miller Sr. in 1951, second husband Marshall Kiser in 1969, son William D. Miller, Jr., two brothers, two sisters and a grandchild; she is survived by her daughter Billie Wheatley and husband Don; brother James D. Fuller and wife Marvine of Houston; sister Sue Bruce of Lufkin; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the College Street Church of Christ Benevolence (Care Center) Fund in memory of Allie Mae Kiser.
Interment followed in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Elkhart under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
William E. McCoy

Born on Aug. 25, 1925 in Ferry, the son of Ernest and Dorothy (Blacklot) McCoy, he passed away Dec. 27, 2000 at St. Paul’s Hospital in Dallas.
Preceded in death by his parents, daughter Leah Diane Clayton and brother Jack; he is survived by his wife Mary McCoy of Dallas; stepson James Larry Clayton of Duncanville; and two step-grandchildren Jason and Jamie Clayton.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Chesley E. McKinney

Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Marie McKinney and daughter Carolyn Liles; he is survived by son and daughter-in-law C.E. McKinney Jr. and Tawnya of Red Oak; daughter and son-in-law Helen J. and Andy Williams of Daphne, Ala.; son-in-law Charles Liles of Ovilla; grandchildren Jeff Sanders, Chris Liles, Chawn Liles, Kyle McKinney, Carolyn Ann Liles, Matt McDonald, Dustin McKinney and Kim McDonald; eight great-grandchildren; and brother Wilmer McKinney.
Pallbearers were Kenneth McKinney, Larry Lee Fagg, Jimmy French, Chris Liles, Chawn Liles and Matt McDonald.
Interment followed in the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
