FERRIS – Graveside services for Juanita Gail Stephens Martin, 60 of Ferris, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 28, 2001 at Weiland Cemetery in Cash with Ranse Moore officiating.
Born on Aug. 10, 1940 in Oak Grove, La., the daughter of Stone and Ora Lee Thames Devers, she passed away March 24, 2001 in Fort Worth.
Preceded in death by three brothers John Matthew Stephens, Paul Heron Stephens and James David Stephens; she is survived by two sons John Oliver Moore Jr. and Jonathon Randall Moore; daughter Cindy G. Taylor; brother Billy Dean Stephens; and four sisters Ruby Morara, Doris Long, Rachel Howell and Jean Trujillo.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Lynch Alternative Funeral Service.
Betty Mittelbach

ENNIS – Funeral services for Betty Mittelbach, 75 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 27, 2001 in St. Johns Catholic Church with Rev. Mark Seitz as celebrant.
Born just outside of Garrett, the daughter of Frank J. and Annie Vrana Jurik, she passed away March 25, 2001 at her home.
Preceded in death by her husband Richard George Mittelbach; she is survived by her daughter and her husband Charlotte and Steven Slovacek of Ennis; two grandchildren Rebecca Davis and Steven Slovacek, Jr. and seven great-grandchildren Annie, Amanda, April and Alex Davis, Stephanie, Charlotte Jo and Shelbi Slovacek.
Pallbearers were Kenneth Houdek, Robert Houdek, Charlie Pouzar, Jeff Pouzar, Paul Spaniel and Charlie Spaniel.
Interment followed in St. Josephs Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Agnes M. Pekar

ENNIS – Funeral services for Agnes M. Pekar, 87 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2001 in St. Johns Catholic Church with Rev. Fred Caldwell as celebrant.
Born on Dec. 17, 1913 in Ennis, the daughter of Frank and Therese Cervanka Vavra, she passed away March 27, 2001 at IOOF Nursing Home in Ennis.
Preceded in death by granddaughter Kathy Turner; she is survived by three daughters Margy Rankin of Ennis, Rose and her husband Melvin Baker of Ennis, Jan and her husband Lynn Carter of Palmer; sister Frances Jurica of Ennis; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Randy Rankin, Danny Rankin, Steve Rankin, Ashley Carter, Danny Jurica and Johnny Jurica.
Interment followed in the St. Josephs Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Born on Dec. 25, 1949 in Waxahachie, the daughter of Truman and Imogene Kinkaid, she passed away April 2, 2001 at her home.
She is survived by her husband Douglas Wayne Scott; mother Imogene Kinkaid of Waxahachie and daughter Tammy Diana Brazier of Waxahachie.
Pallbearers were Ray Garcia, Richard Holyfield, Eddie Trevino, David Stacks, Jason Hayes and Chris Trevino.

Deborah Kaye Wright

Born on July 24, 1953 in Crockett, the daughter of C.B. and Mary Lou Dominy Wright, she passed away April 2, 2001 in Dallas.
She is survived by her parents of Dallas; brothers Milton Wright of Plano, Elwood Wright of DeSoto, James Wright of Lancaster, Jimmy Wright of Lewisville and C.B. Wright Jr. of Lancaster; and sisters Mary Ponte, Janie Stephens both of California, Shirley Lweallyn of Mesquite and Frances Kulas of Azel.
Interment followed in the Pennington Cemetery in Groveton under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Born on May 16, 1945 in Springfield, Tenn., the son of Baxter and Aldina Clark Frazier, he passed away March 29, 2001 at his home.
He is survived by his wife Linda of Bristol; son Stephen Russell Frazier of Plano; daughter and husband Jennifer and Willie Dodson of Telico; three brothers Ravin Frazier of Nashville, Tenn., Mitchell and wife Sue Frazier of Clarksville, Tenn. and Jimmy and wife Sindy Frazier of Warsaw; three sisters and their husbands Shirley and Howard Harrison of Clarksville, Tenn., Betty and Roy Shelby of Nashville, and Patricia and Ray Baker of Clarksville; two grandchildren Emily and Hayden Dodson and mother-in-law Janie Hamm of Ferris.
Pallbearers were Joe Broom, Mitchell Hamm, Leon Page, Jack Bill Davis, Charles Miller and Mike Smith. Honorary pallbearers were Marty Davis and Fred Chandellor.
Interment followed in the Bristol Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
