Born on June 24, 1909 in Atoka, Okla., the daughter of William B. and Ella R. Holmes Sharp, she passed away March 31, 2001 at Ennis Regional Medical Center.
Preceded in death by her husband Robert L. Jones Sr.; she is survived by her son Robert L. Jones of Ennis; two grandchildren Teresa Yates of Palmer and Brenda Wharton of Grays Prairie; great-grandchild Yolanda Vestal; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Born on Jan. 27, 1919 in Windom, the daughter of Jack M. and Willie Blanche Price Wood, she passed away April 1, 2001 at the IOOF Nursing Home in Ennis.
Preceded in death by her parents, sister Janice M. Wood and two brothers Jack M. Wood Jr. and Leonard Price Wood; she is survived by her husband Bruce McCrary Sr. of Ennis; son and his wife Bruce and Fannie McCrary Jr. of Ennis; grandson William Dennis McCrary; and great-grandchild Meagan E. McCrary.
Arrangements were under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

ENNIS Funeral services for Clay I. Mendheim, 90 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001 in the Keever Chapel.
Born on June 21, 1910 in Ennis, the son of Herman B. and Annie J. Wakeland Mendheim, he passed away March 28, 2001 at his home.
Preceded in death by three brothers Carl, Willie and Claude Mendheim; he is survived by his wife Faye of Ennis; three daughters Sandra and husband Bill Dyess of Ennis, Virginia Mendheim of Menlo Park, Calif. and Jerlynn Perdue of Half Moon Bay, Calif.; two sisters Cola OBannion of Beaumont and Pet Hitchcock of Ennis; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Anna Dyess Oakley, Dr. Steven Oakley, Emilie Dyess Stewart, Alan Stewart, Brian Perdue and Allison Perdue Triollo.
Interment followed in the Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Preceded in death by two brothers Jasper Russell Jr. and Milburn Russell; he is survived by his wife Nellouise of Ennis; two sons Randall A. and his wife Donna Russell of Corinth and Edward Armijo of Ennis; stepson and his wife Joe and Lisa Slaughter of Ennis; two daughters Kathy D. Russell and Cindy R. Anderson both of Grapevine; three brothers Howard Russell of Frankfort, Ky., Mack Russell of Paris and Jerry Russell of El Cajon, Calif.; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Born on March 30, 1948 in Ennis, the son of Louis and Mildred Nekuza Vitovsky, he passed away April 3, 2001 at his home.
He is survived by his son and his wife Bryan and Evette Vitovsky of Ennis; two daughters and their husbands Julia and Glenn Zabojnik, and Vickie and Greg Housewright all of Ennis; four brothers Tony Vitovsky, Alan Vitovsky, Gary Vitovsky all of Ennis and Jimmy Vitovsky; sister Sheila Bridger of Kansas City, Mo.; and two grandchildren Aubry and Ashlyn.
Pallbearers were Louis Bobby Zabojnik, Francis Rogala, Richard Miller, Tony Vitovsky, Tony Liska and Emil Zabonik.
Interment followed in the St. Josephs Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

Born on Aug. 1, 1914 in Athens, the son of William Walter and Minnie May Edwards Finch, he passed away April 3, 2001 in Ft. Worth.
He is survived by his daughter Carolyn Rhodes of Arlington; son Jimmy Finch of Athens; sisters Thelma Gordon of Garland, Lola Buchanan of Corsicana and Helen Martin of Amarillo; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Edgewood Cemetery in Lancaster under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Preceded in death by her father; she is survived by her husband Darrell Perry; son Shawn Matthew Perry; mother Peggy Beaty; two brothers James Beaty and Bennie Beaty Jr. and wife Connie all of Midlothian; sister Belinda Mills and husband Randall of Arlington; and two nephews Benjamin Beaty and E.Z. Beaty.
