Born on June 6, 1960 in Ennis, the son of Lonnie James Sr. and JoAnn Wilkerson Jenkins, he passed away June 3, 2001 in Powell.
He is survived by his mother JoAnn Wilkerson of Powell; grandmother Odie Mae Wilson of Ennis; aunts and uncles Odell and Jeanie Wilson of Ennis, Larry and Gwendolyn Lamp of Seven Points and Rickey and Becky Wilson of Waxahachie and 13 cousins.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
Betty Joyce Kinkade

Born on Dec. 19, 1942 in Clarksville, the daughter of Howard G. and Mildred E. Dye Bolton, she passed away June 6, 2001 in Rowlett.
She is survived by sons Adam Ballew and wife Beckey of Powell and Mathew Kinkade of Bristol; her parents of Bristol; brother James Bolton and wife Patricia of Florida; and four grandchildren Amanda Hatch, Colt, Logan and Chayenne Ballew.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Born Aug. 11, 1939 in Dallas, he passed away June 5, 2001.
He is survived by his mother Rosa Lee Cantrell of Dallas; wife Jackie Cantrell of Ferris; son and daughter-in-law Douglas and Ma Esther Cantrell of Ferris; nephew Keith D. Gannon of Ferris; niece Stacey R. Gannon of Ferris; stepdaughter Rachel Ann Hock of Ferris; sister Freda Lee Gannon of Dallas; and three brothers Gary W. Cantrell of Irving, Gregory P. Cantrell of Gun Barrel and Richard E. Cantrell of Dallas.
Interment followed in the Bristol Cemetery under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

She passed away June 4, 2001 in Dallas.
Preceded in death by her husband Johnnie Wright and her parents Mr. & Mrs. John Thomas Hall; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Lynn and Sue Wright of Ferris; sister and brother-in-law Elois and Grady Allen of Bristol and sister-in-law Ila Faye Wright of India.
Interment followed in the Ferris Memorial Park North under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Born on May 1, 1924 in Detroit, Mich., the son of Jessie and Lola Walker Amick, he passed away April 26, 2001 at his residence.
He is survived by his daughter Terry Whitley and husband Rick of Oak Leaf; five grandchildren and sister Deetta Creed of Moberley, Mo.
Interment followed in the Waxahachie City Cemetery under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
David W. Blackerby

Born on Oct. 24, 1973 in Ennis, the son of Wilbert and Gladys Claxton Blackerby, he passed away in Ennis.
Preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by two brothers Ricky Whitt of Garrett and Wilbert Blackerby of Corsicana and a sister Shelly Walker of Corsicana.
Pallbearers were Steven Morrow, Nathan Allen, Lance Allen, Steve Allen, Cosme Duran and David Bell.
Interment followed in the Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.

She is survived by sons Harlan Rollin of North Carolina, Richard Rollin of Red Oak and Peter Rollin of North Carolina; daughter Sandra Gaussman of Maryland; brother George Smith of Arizona; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband Gerald P. Thursby Jr., daughter Lynda Irene Thursby, her parents, and sister Katherine Bardy; she is survived by her sons Daniel S. Thursby of Ferris, Gerald P. Thursby Jr. of Ferris and Donald I. Thursby of Walled Lake, Mich.; daughters Kitty Brake of Geneva, Ohio and Rebecca G. Cardarella of Rockford, Mich.; brother Guy Lee King; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
