LANCASTER – Funeral services for Dail Eugene Hullett, of Lancaster, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2001 at Byrum Funeral Home Chapel.
Born on Sept. 20, 1923 in Maypearl, he passed away April 25, 2001 in Dallas.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Helen; son Don Hullett of Lewisville; two granddaughters and four great-granddaughters.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the Kidney Foundation of Texas.
Interment followed in Laurel Land Memorial Park Dallas under the direction of Byrum Funeral Home in Lancaster.
Terry Joe McAdams

RED OAK – Funeral services for Terry Joe McAdams, 69 of Red Oak, were held at 10 a.m. Friday, April 27, 2001 in the Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Sutton and Steve Lewis officiating.
Born on Sept. 6, 1931 in Truxno, La., the son of Felbert and Ora Helen Howell McAdams, he passed away April 24, 2001 in Waxahachie.
He is survived by his wife Betty McAdams of Red Oak; daughter and son-in-law Rebecca Ann and Ken Latimer of Red Oak; and four grandchildren Grady, Rachel, Madison and Jake.
Interment followed in the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.
Octaviano Ramirez
March 22, 1941 – April 19, 2001
ENNIS – Funeral services for Octaviano Ramirez, 60 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2001 in St. Johns Catholic Church with Rev. Fred Caldwell celebrant.
Born on March 22, 1941 in Delores, Gto, Mexico, the son of Onofre and Feliciana Alvarez Ramirez, he passed away April 19, 2001 at his home.
He is survived by his wife Amada of Ennis; five daughters Gloria Ramirez and Anguelica Ramirez both of Mexico, Feliciana Ramirez, Sara Ramirez and Veronica Ramirez all of Ennis; four sons Onofre Ramirez, Manuel Ramirez and Arnulfo Ramirez all of Ennis and Octaviano Ramirez Jr. of Mexico; six brothers Salvador Ramirez, Pascuel Ramirez and Fidel Ramirez all of Mexico, Miguel Mendez, Luis Mendez and Porfirio Mendez all of Ennis; four sisters Consuelo Ramirez, Ofemia Ramirez, Elaria Ramirez and Reyes Ramirez all of Mexico and 25 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Miguel Mendez, Porfirio Mendez Jr., Dimas Armendaviz, Eric Mendez and Joese C. Mendez.
Interment followed in the St. Josephs Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Rev. Ralph H. Reasor

ENNIS – Funeral services for Rev. Ralph H. Reasor, 85, were held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 23, 2001 at the First Baptist Church in San Antonio.
Born on Sept. 17, 1915 in Collinsville, Okla., the son of Earl and Blanche Hildreth Reasor, he passed away April 19, 2001 in Arlington.
Preceded in death by his wife Ethelyn Leola Barrow Reasor; he is survived by daughter Nancy Lynn Tucker; son Richard Harold Reasor; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Interment followed in the Mission Park North Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Richard G. Schmidt

PALMER – Funeral services for Richard G. Schmidt, 69 of Palmer, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 25, 2001 in the Keever Palmer Chapel with Rev. S.G. Hancock officiating.
Born on May 10, 1931 in Austin, the son of Horace A. and Coralee Bridges Schmidt, he passed away April 23, 2001 at his home.
Preceded in death by his parents and four brothers Junior, Neville, Eddie and Don Schmidt; he is survived by his wife Sue of Palmer; three sons Allen Fleming and his wife Pam of Texarkana, Charles Landrith and his wife Tina of Palmer and Todd Gilleland of Palmer; two daughters Susan Lewis of Atlanta and Brenda Henson of Palmer; two brothers Darrell Schmidt of Mesquite and Gerald Schmidt of Houston and 14 grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Todd Gilleland, Charles Landrith, Chris Landrith, Bowen Briles, Gary Amburn and Allen Fleming.
Interment followed in the Palmer Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Edgar Wesley Seay

WAXAHACHIE – Graveside services for Edgar Wesley Seay were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 26, 2001 at the family plot at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
Born on March 26, 1917 in the Lone Elm community, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Seay, he passed away April 24, 2001 in Austin.
Preceded in death by his parents; brother Earl Martin Seay and two sisters Mary J. Wilkins and Beulah Forbes; he is survived by two sisters Iola Appling of Mesquite and Ruby Benge of Waxahachie; and life partner Don Thomas of Austin.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Blanche B. Widener

ENNIS – Graveside services for Blanche B. Widener, 80 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Thursday, April 26, 2001 in Myrtle Cemetery with Chaplain Jerry Carter officiating.
Born on Sept. 18, 1920 in Waymouth, Mass., the daughter of Rufus H. and Gladys I. Hollis Blanton, she passed away April 23, 2001 at Claystone Manor Nursing Home in Ennis.
Preceded in death by her husband Richard Earl Widener, son Darrell Widener on April 11, 2001 and sister Lillian B. Richardson; she is survived by her son Jerald W. Widener of Ennis; daughter-in-law Mae Widener of Ennis; six grandsons; four granddaughters and 10 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Andy Widener, Carey Widener, Grady Widener, Richard Widener, Joe Widener, Tim Slovak and Barry Widener.
