ENNIS – Funeral services for Darrell G. Widener, 43 of Ennis, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2001 in the Keever Chapel with Rev. Jerry Carter officiating.
Born on Aug. 13, 1957 in Dallas, the son of Richard E. and Blanche Blanton Widener, he passed away April 11, 2001 at the Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie.
He is survived by his wife Mae of Ennis; two sons Richard E. Widener II of Ennis and Christopher Davis Haney of Dallas; three daughters Samantha D. Zhanel of Ennis, Charly I. Widener of Ennis and Angela Sue Miller of Olympia, Wash.; his mother of Ennis; brother Jerald Widener of Ennis; and two grandchildren Taylor R. Zhanel and LeAnn N. Zhanel both of Ennis.
Pallbearers were Timmy Slovak, Larry Bryant, Barry Widener, Andy Widener, Cory Widener, Grady Widener, Joe Widener, David Morris, Chris Lansford and Danny Jurcik. Honorary pallbearer was Shawn Amison.
Interment followed in the Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Gregory F. Bell

ENNIS – Funeral services for Gregory F. Bell, 91 of Ennis, were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 17, 2001 in the Keever Chapel with Rev. Brad Ryder officiating.
Born on Dec. 8, 1909 in Rice, the son of D.F. and Nora Gregory Bell, he passed away April 13, 2001 at Ennis Care Center.
Preceded in death by his wife Mary B. Wright Bell; he is survived by five sisters-in-law Dorothy (Aaron) Phelps of Burleson, Elsie Cheyne of Ft. Worth, Fannie Kouba of Ennis, Elizabeth (Wendell) Elliott of Alma and Katy (Dave) Leinbach of Mabank; and Kathy Enslin.
Pallbearers were Mike Elliott, James Lewis, Johnny Phelps, Tom Bill Wright, Donny Phelps and Jeremy Elliott.
Interment followed in the Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary in Ennis.
Jackson T. Bridges

PLANO – Graveside services for Jackson T. Bridges, 91 of Plano, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001 at Grove Hill Cemetery in Dallas with Jim Benton officiating.
Born on Feb. 21, 1910 in Frederick, Okla., the son of Clyde Lewis and Francis Blanche Tant Bridges, he passed away April 17, 2001 in Plano.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.
Robert Maitland Burch

Born on Dec. 13, 1928 in Martin, Tenn., he passed away April 16, 2001 as a result of an automobile accident.
He is survived by his wife Janet Burch of Italy; son Robert Burch of Lewisville; daughters and sons-in-law Julie Anne and Billy Carter and Stephany and Marc Nelson all of Italy and two granddaughters Lindsey Cymbalski and McKenzie Trees.
Interment followed in the Italy Cemetery under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
John J. Frontera
Nov. 18, 1935 – April 16, 2001
WAXAHACHIE – Mass services for John J. Frontera, of Ferris, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2001 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Waxahachie with Rev. Jerome as celebrant.
Born on Nov. 18, 1935 in Youngsville, Pa., the son of James and Estella Frontera, he passed away April 16, 2001 after a year long battle with lung cancer.
He is survived by his wife Marie; son James Frontera and wife Jackie of Ferris; two daughters Deborah Lively of Dallas and Cecelia Paul of Ferris; three grandchildren; two brothers Doug and Francis Frontera; and sisters Betty Thompson, Judy Zaner, Stella Klucinikas, Dottie Preshak and Lucy Pearson.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
Tina Mae (Tiny) Hathcock
June 5, 1908 – April 20, 2001
FERRIS – Funeral services for Tina Mae (Tiny) Hathcock, 92 of Ferris, were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 22, 2001 at Green Funeral Home with Rev. Royce Campbell officiating.
Born on June 5, 1908 in Bristol, the daughter of Charlie Washington Childress and Annie Mae Allen, she passed away April 20, 2001.
Preceded in death by her parents, husband Joseph Richard Hathcock, and son Randall Wade Hathcock; she is survived by her sons and their wives Joe Howard and Lorene Hathcock of Ferris and Billy Ray and Twina Hathcock of Ferris; daughter and son-in-law Peggy Ann and Joe Wayne Murdock of Ferris; daughter-in-law Sarah Ruth Hathcock of Ferris; sister Lois Tucker of Salinas, Calif.; nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Vitas Hospice Care, 8585 Stemmons #700 Dallas, Texas 75247.
Interment followed in the Bristol Cemetery under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

He is survived by his parents; brothers Robert, Felix, Ruben and Rojelio Juarez; sisters Celia Arostegui and Florence Guerrero; 16 nephews and nieces and one great niece.
