WAXAHACHIE – Graveside services for Fannie Isabell Ross, 90 of Waxahachie, were held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2001 at the Mt. Peak Cemetery.
Born on Jan. 27, 1911, the daughter of William and Nannie Oer Doshier, she passed away June 11, 2001.
Preceded in death by her son Troy Lynn Ross; she is survived by three granddaughters Camilla Wildman and husband Rowdy of Red Oak, Rigina Ross and Cynetha Ross both of Waxahachie; nine great-grandchildren and brother Marion Doshier of Seattle, Wash.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Janet Lynn Adams Bruce
Aug. 9, 1953 – June 17, 2001
FORRESTON – Funeral services for Janet Lynn Adams Bruce, 47 of Forreston, were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 20, 2001 in the chapel of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Morgan officiating.
Born Aug. 9, 1953 in Dallas, the daughter of Robert C. and Alice Harrison Catron, she passed away June 17, 2001 at her residence.
She is survived by her husband Allen S. Bruce of Forreston; two sons Justin David Adams of Avalon and Edsel Ray Adams of Waxahachie; two grandchildren Erika Gabrielle Adams and David Ray Adams; mother Alice L. Catron of San Antonio; two brothers Robert W. Catron of Justin and Steve J. Catron of San Antonio and sister Vicki A. Carson of Whitesboro, Ga.
Interment followed in the Forreston Cemetery under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Donald Ray Selvey

RED OAK – Funeral services for Donald Ray Selvey, 46 of Red Oak, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2001 at Red Oak Funeral Home Chapel with Larry Krohn officiating.
Born Dec. 31, 1954 in Santa Anna, Calif., he passed away June 20, 2001 in Pensacola, Flor.
He is survived by his wife Deanna Selvey of Red Oak; father Harold Selvey of California; mother Mary Burrow of Red Oak; sons Clint Selvey of Rowlett and Steven Gentry of Red Oak; daughters Molly Wilson of Garland, Mindy Selvey of Irving, Rachel Selvey of Red Oak and Amanda Selvey of Red Oak; and brothers Greg Bell of Garland, Robert Bell of Lancaster, David Selvey of Emory and Travis Selvey of Nevada.
An account has been set up at Citizens National Bank in the Selvey family name.

Elizabeth Ann Coffey

FERRIS – Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann Coffey, 73 of Ft. Worth, were held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2001 at Green Funeral Home with Dr. Jeff Burnett officiating.
Born Oct. 6, 1927 in Ferris, the daughter of George and Verda McKay Brignon, she passed away June 25, 2001 at H.E.B. Harris Methodist Hospital in Bedford.
Preceded in death by her parents, son John Ronald Coffey, and brothers Merle Brignon, Bob Brignon, Tom Brignon and Lawrence Brignon; she is survived by her husband John Coffey of Ft. Worth; sisters Maxine Wilshire of Dallas and Lou Stewart of Dallas; brother Gail Brignon of Cedar Creek; granddaughters Renee Coffey Joiner of Flower Mound and Michelle Coffey of Hurst and daughter-in-law Sharon Coffey of Hurst.
Pallbearers were James Joiner, Mike Hildebrandt, Bill Coffey, Crawford Long, Mark Anders and F.L. Wilshire.
Memorials may be made Benevolence Frist Baptist Church in Hurst.
Interment followed in the Ferris Memorial Park North under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
Jodie Daniel Hobbs

Born March 22, 1905 in Crisp, the son of Joe and Mary Etter DeFoe Hobbs, he passed away June 29, 2001 at Park Manor Nursing Home in DeSoto.
Preceded in death by his wife Pauline Hobbs and his parents; he is survived by his daughters Mary Evelyn Davis of New Camey and Peggy McClain of Wilmer; son Jodie Ray Hobbs of Ovilla; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were David Hobbs, Eric Hobbs, Dale McClain, Scott McClain, Billy Bennett and Lawrence Shue.

Interment followed in the Trinity Cemetery in Wilmer under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.

Preceded in death by his parents, son, four brothers and eight sisters; he is survived by his son Jerry Holder and wife Wilma of Waxahachie; grandchildren Amanda Shirley, James, Jasmine, Douglas and Michael Holder, Amber Adams and Troris Adams.

Glen Joseph Kyser

Preceded in death by his parents, sisters Dora Sue Morris and Betty Aston and brother Clarence Kyser; she is survived by her daughters Glenda Kyser of Sanger, Joyce Kyser of Dallas, Peggy Hogan of Italy and Patricia Miller of Combine; ex-wife Josephine Kyser of Sanger; sisters Mary Beth Wilson of Mesquite and Dorothy Fethkenher of Arlington; and brothers David Kyser of Ennis and Pat Kyser of Ennis.
Interment followed in the D.F.W. National Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
