ENNIS – Funeral services for Lillian Bell Stanfield, of Ennis, were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 30, 2001 at the Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Steven officiating.
Born on Aug. 1, 1915 in Shawnee, Okla., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Bell, she passed away June 26, 2001.
Preceded in death by her husband Harry M. Stanfield and brother Richard Bell; she is survived by three sisters Lemmie Tom Hunstable of Lancaster; Josephine Hare of Spokane, Wash. and Lanora Yoffee of Overland Park, Kan.; three brothers Johnny Bell of Trinidad, James Bell of Waxahachie and Freddy Bell of Venus; and aunt Minnie Arnn of Dallas.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.

RED OAK – Funeral services for Collin James Borders, 12 of Red Oak, were held at 10 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2001 in the Ovilla Church Nazarene.
Born Jan. 8, 1989 in Dallas, the son of Mark A. Borders and Julie Outlaw, he passed away July 12, 2001 in Waxahachie.
He is survived by his father of Ovilla and mother Julie Harold of Red Oak; grandfathers Ray Borders of Cedar Hill and Gerald Outlaw of Duncanville; grandmother Ada Outlaw of DeSOto; sisters Kristen Borders of Red Oak and Kailey Harold of Red Oak; step-father Ray Harold of Red Oak and step-mother Jena Borders of Ovilla and step sisters Hallie and Claire Davidson of Ovilla.
Interment followed in the Red Oak Cemetery under the direction of Red Oak Funeral Home, Berdon Byrum.

Born in Reagor Springs, she passed away July 8, 2001 in Merriam, Kansas after a brief illness.
Precede in death by her husband Willard Childress; she is survived by her daughter Nancy Seelen of Kansas City, Mo.; son Robert Childress of St. Louis, Mo.; grandson David Seelen of Kansas City, Mo.; and her sister Mabel Freeman of Tyler.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

She is survived by her nephew Steve Chapman of Red Oak; nieces Kaye Cossett of Massachusetts, Melva Southerland of Red Oak and Janie Aykroyd of San Antonio.

Herbert Harrison Dodd

BRISTOL – Funeral services for Herbert Harrison Dodd, 67 of Bristol, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 14, 2001 in the Sparkman/Hillcrest Northwest Hwy. Chapel with Dr. James Bass officiating.
Born Feb. 23, 1934 in Sulphur Springs, the son of Herbert and Inez Dodd, he passed away July 11, 2001 at his home.
Preceded in death by his parents and sister Marcy Barnes; he is survived by his wife Arnetha Dodd; sons Alan Dodd and wife Sandi, and Bruce Dodd and wife LeAnne; grandchildren Alan Dodd Jr., Christie Fondon, Jennifer Dodd, Bruce Dodd Jr., Brooke Dodd, Brandi Dodd, Jason Lenamond, Amy Wilson, Katy Wilson and eight great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Hillcrest Memorial Park under the direction of Sparkman/Hillcrest in Dallas.

Born May 4, 1934 in Corsicana, the son of Willis and Lois Beaird Hooper, he passed away July 15, 2001 at Ennis Regional Hospital.
Preceded in death by his parents; he is survived by his wife Juanita Hooper of Bristol; sons Mark Hooper of Houston and Randy Hooper of Waxahachie; daughter Diana Holy of Ennis; sister Melba Reeves of Palestine and six grandchildren.
Arrangements were under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
Nora Florence Hudson

Born on May 31, 1934 in Longview, she passed away July 10, 2001.
She is survived by her daughter Vonda and husband Jack Hutchings of Ferris; son Robert W. Hudson Jr. and daughter-in-law Karen of San Antonio; daughter Deborah K. McPherson and son-in-law Claude Jr. of Kaufman; daughter Carol A. Rahmani and son-in-law Mohammed of Killeen; son Ernest T. Hudson of Houston; daughter Bellinda Luther and son-in-law Gregg of Chattanooga, Tenn.; son Richard W. Hudson Sr. and daughter-in-law Lois of Plano and uncle Joe Bailey Williams of Cunningham.

Born July 10, 1939 in Trumbull, the son of John A. and Ethel Kathryn Brannon Toal, he passed away May 27, 2002 at Charlton Methodist Hospital in Dallas.
He is survived by his wife Donnie of Trumbull; son and his wife John and Shanna Toal of Southlake; two daughters and their husbands Cyndy and David McKenrick of Trumbull and Laurie and Mark Vickery of Burleson; five brothers Weldon McBrannon of Ferris, Ray Toal of Ennis, Glenn Toal, Garry Toal and Ricky Toal all of Trumbull; sister Mary Burns of Dallas; and seven grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
