MAYPEARL – Funeral services for Mildred Avis Koonce, 80 of Maypearl, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2001 in the Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Kinnamon officiating.
Born on Dec. 14, 1920 in Houston, the daughter of Alfred and Euphia Mae Manuel, she passed away Feb. 10, 2001 at her home.
Preceded in death by her husband Ernest M. Koonce, son Terry Koonce and her parents; she is survived by two sons Ray Koonce and Gary Koonce and wife Lynn both of Waxahachie; two brothers Deering Manuel of Taft and Dale Manuel of Leakey; two sisters Arvie Herron of Elgin and Lucille Becker of Austin; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Interment followed in the Oak Branch Cemetery under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Gertrude G. Larson

ENNIS – Funeral services for Gertrude G. Larson, 76 of Ennis, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001 in the Keever Chapel with Pastor Norman Finke officiating.
Born on Nov. 28, 1924 in Mullens, W.V., the daughter of Clarence and Charity Goins Gardner, she passed away Feb. 5, 2001 at Claystone Manor Nursing Home in Ennis.
Preceded in death by two sisters Bodie and Alice; she is survived by her husband Paul of Ennis; five sons Kenneth W. Larson of Corinth, Keith Allen Larson of Duncanville, Timothy P. Larson of Plano, Ward I. Bralley and Michael Bralley both of Houston; and several grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Ken Larson, Keith Larson, Tim Larson, Mike Bralley, Ron Larson and Jim Feistner.
Interment followed in the Myrtle Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Wendell F. McNees
April 22, 1920 – Feb. 5, 2001
AUSTIN – Graveside services for Wendell F. McNees, of Austin, were held at 10 a.m. at the DFW National Cemetery.
Born on April 22, 1920 in Walters, Okla., the son of Wendell Costello and Edna (LaCosta) McNees, he passed away Feb. 5, 2001 in Austin.
Preceded in death by his parents, brother Max Ervan McNees and sister Myrl Jean McNees; he is survived by his wife Patricia McNees of Austin; brother Earl Dean McNees and his wife Curtis of Melborne, Flor.; sister Berneva Ray of Waxahachie; four nieces Linda McCasland, Sandra Vann, Sherry Davis and Debbie Williams.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Wayne Boze Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Bernice Lillian White

WAXAHACHIE – Graveside services for Bernice Lillian White, 94 of Waxahachie, were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001 at Hillcrest Burial Park with Pastor Jim McGaha officiating.
Born on Nov. 14, 1906 in Ike, the daughter of J.B. and Carrie Roberson, she passed away Feb. 7, 2001 at Renfro Healthcare Center.
Preceded in death by her husband Earl White in 1954 and son Jimmy White in 1976; she is survived by two nephews Glenn White of Mansfield and Ray White of Venus; three nieces Patsy Dees and Judy Baird both of Midlothian and Nancy Allen of Beaumont and cousin Monie Fay McPike of Glenn Heights.
Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.
Benito Cedillo Sr.

WAXAHACHIE – Funeral services for Benito Cedillo Sr., 73 of Waxahachie, were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2001 in the chapel of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home with Rev. George Solis officiating.
Born on March 21, 1927 in Penitas, the son of Matilde and Josefa Valades Cedillo, he passed away Feb. 13, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Waxahachie.
He is survived by his wife Aurora Cedillo of Waxahachie; two sons Benito Cedillo Jr. and wife Estella of Red Oak and Matt Cedillo of Richardson; daughter Eva Cedillo Garcia and husband Joe Jr. of Waxahachie; five granddaughters; brother Conception Cedillo of Penitas and sister Rosa Saldano of McAllen.
Pallbearers were Joey Garcia, Mark Singleton, John Colwell, Ezequiel Garza, Chris Ridgeway and Craig Rudolph. Honorary pallbearers were Nasario Luna and Chris Brown.
Interment followed in the Waxahachie City Cemetery under the directions of Boze-Mitchell Funeral Home in Waxahachie.

Born on Jan. 28, 1974 in Ennis, the daughter of Kenneth and Linda Bates Clary, she passed away Feb. 10, 2001 at the Ennis Regional Medical Center.
She is survived by her husband Cosme of Ennis; father Kenneth Clary of Ennis; mother and step-father Linda and Joe Widner of Palmer; Amber, Ricky, Shaun, James and Sarah; brother Tyler Widner of Palmer; sister Natasha Widner of Ennis; grandparents James and Betty Bates of Ennis, Mr. and Mrs. B.L. Clary of Ennis, Preston and Cecila Widner of Palmer; father-in-law Jose Duran of Ennis; three brothers-in-law and three sisters-in-law.
Pallbearers were Bill Donahoo, Keith Bates, Ricky Whitt, Joe Duran, Bob Widner and Brent Clark.
Interment followed in the Crisp Cemetery under the direction of J.E. Keever Mortuary.
Floyd Elmore Payne

Born on Aug. 10, 1934 in Pauls Valley, Okla., the son of Clarence and Floy V. Miller Payne, he passed away Feb. 14, 2001 at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas.
Preceded in death by his father and wife Doris Payne; he is survived by his mother Floy Miller Goad and step-father Robert of Lancaster; daughters and sons-in-law Patricia A. Duckworth and husband Larry of Ennis, and Julie Chovanetz and husband Charles of Richmond; sister Beatrice Hall of DeSoto; half brother Robert A. Goad of Lancaster; granddaughters Kristi Beets of Ferris and Sarah Chovanetz of Richmond; and grandson Scott Beets of Ferris.
Pallbearers were Terry Duckworth, Chris Duckworth, Scott Beets, Bobby Isaacs, Gilbert Bouska and Larry Bouska.
Interment followed in the Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of Green Funeral Home in Ferris.
