GALVESTON - Matthew "Black" Randle, 69, departed this life on September 27, 2004, at the Edgewater Retirement Center.
A service of remembrance will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, October 9, 2004, at the Gtr. Mt Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Timothy Allen, Sr.,officiating.
"Black" as he was known, was born August 25, 1935, in Rayne, Louisiana and was employed as an operator with the cotton compress.
He is survived by his wife, children; a host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.

GALVESTON — V. Morales, 80, of Galveston departed peacefully from this life on Wednesday, October 6, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday, October 9, 2004, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 Tremont, Galveston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Friday, October 8, 2004, at the funeral home with a rosary and vigil to be held at 7 p.m.
Mr. Morales was born on October 24, 1923, in High Island, Texas to Santiago and Maria De Jesus Morales and was a resident of Galveston for 50 years.
Mr. Morales retired from the University of Texas Medical Branch after 34 years of service as a research scientist in the department of anatomy and neuroscience. He achieved fellow status as a member of the Texas Academy of Science. His passion was electron microscopy investigative research of the central nervous system and published an extensive amount of abstracts in various medical journals.
preceded in death by his parents, Mr. Morales leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 57 years, Guadalupe A. Morales; daughter, Guadalupe M. Aldape and husband David; sons Ricardo Morales, Jr., Hector Morales and wife Carmen and Gilbert Morales and wife, Cindy; five grandchildren, Elisa and David Aldape, Hector and Luis Morales and Sierra Morales.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, October 8, 2004, at the Mainland Funeral Home. Visitation will continue after 5:30 p.m., Friday at Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church, 302 N. Oak in Texas City where a wake will be held from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, October 9, 2004, at the church with Pastor D. N. Bedford, Sr., officiating. Burial will follow at Rising Star cemetery in La Marque.
Mrs. Eskridge was born March 27, 1910, in Dodge, Texas to the late Robert and Jessie Bell Ross. She was a longtime resident of Texas City and a faithful member of Rising Star Baptist Church where she served as Secretary of Mission II; Mission Chorus, Bible Band and Pastor's Aide. She was also a member of Silver Circle Chapter #101 Order of Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Helen Callis; husband, Frank Eskridge; sister, Ella Mae Martin and brothers, Bunyan, Leroy and Charlie Ross.
She is survived by her nieces, Hattie Martin of Texas City and Shirley Arnold of Houston; brother-in-law, Nathaniel Martin of Texas City; devoted cousin, Juanita Hall of Oklahoma; other family members; her church family and devoted friends.

Mrs. Williams was born December 23, 1907, in Red Cross, Louisiana to Edward and Everlina Wilson Southall. She was a longtime resident of Texas City and was a member of Abundant Life Christian Center in La Marque. She was a former member of the Heroines of Jericho.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Williams; son, Johnnie Weathers; three sisters, Jeanette Goston, Sarah King, Fannie Hall and brother, Eddie Southall.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Willie M. Liggans of Kansas City, Missouri, 7 grandchildren, George Liggans, Jr., Santra M. Liggins, Debra Liggans, Lessie Liggans, Karl Liggans, Sallie Weathers and Linda Weathers, 16 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Paul is preceded in death by his wife Carmen Segura.
He is survived by his son, Paul Segura Jr. and wife Annie; daughter, Patricia Gonzales and husband Thomas; two sisters and two brothers; nineteen grandchildren, thirty-five great- grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.

SANTA FE - Mr. Wayne Gary Chenoweth passed from this life Monday, October 4, 2004, in Houston.
Born March 7, 1944, in Galveston, Mr. Chenoweth had been a lifelong resident of the Galveston County area. He had been employed at Lipton Tea, was a US Navy Veteran, a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie # 3789 in Santa Fe and enjoyed fishing and crabbing.
Memorial services will be conducted 11 a.m. Thursday, October 7, 2004, at Apostolic Lighthouse UPC with Pastor Mike Wedgeworth officiating.

Catherine Marie Ciaccio Tuttoilmondo
SANTA FE — Mrs. Catherine Marie Ciaccio Tuttoilmondo – beloved mother, grandmother, and great grandmother went to be received into the arms of Jesus at the age of 90. She passed from this life on October 1, 2004, at 3:52 p.m. from her home in Ft. Deposit, Alabama where she lived with her daughter and son-in-law for the last three years.
Mrs. Tuttoilmondo was born on August 24, 1914, in Galveston, Texas to Michael P. Ciaccio and Lillie O. Ciaccio. She graduated from Ball High School in Galveston in 1933, where she excelled in sports. She and her late husband Anthony J. Tuttoilmondo Sr. were married
in 1934.Her hobbies were cooking, reading and baby-sitting her grandchildren, but Catherine’s greatest accomplishment was the love she shared with her family. "They were her life" and her life revolved around them.
Catherine lived in Santa Fe, Texas for 51 years where she was an active member of "Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church".
Her father and mother Michael P. and Lillie O Ciaccio, husband A.J. (Tiger) Tuttoilmondo Sr., and Brother Michael S. Ciaccio preceded her in death.
Her loving son, A.J. Tuttoilmondo Jr., his wife Bettejane of Santa Fe, Texas; loving daughter, Carol (Bootsie) Sasser, and her husband Wayne of Ft. Deposit, Alabama survive her, along with five grandchildren she dearly loved, Michael Tuttoilmondo of Santa Fe, Texas, Mark Tuttoilmondo of Alvin, Texas, Lori Cummings and her husband Jeff of Ft. Deposit, Alabama, Cherri Harrah of Clear Lake, Texas and Robert (Jamie) Warren Jr. of Ft. Deposit, Alabama; seven great grandsons, Lee Biela and wife Amanda of Ft. Deposit, Alabama, Blake, Ryan and Dylan Morris of Clear Lake, Texas, Cory and Aaron Cummings of Ft. Deposit, Alabama and Mark Tuttoilmondo Jr. of Alvin, Texas; loving sister-in-laws Florine (Flip) Ciaccio of Santa Fe, Texas, Marie Kirschner of Galveston, Texas and Lydia Tuttoilmondo of Hitchcock, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, and beloved friends, Harry, Earlene and Patrick Click of Santa Fe, Texas.
Funeral services for family and friends will be held at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas. Visitation will be October 6, 2004, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a short service at 11 a.m., Father Tom Ponzini officiating. Catherine will then be laid to rest at Mt. Olivet cemetery in Dickinson, Texas.
Serving as pallbearers will be Raymond Tuttoilmondo, Nelson Howard, Charles David Tuttoilmondo, Larry Tuttoilmondo, Robert Cambiano, and Harry Lee Click. Honorary pallbearers will be Thomas Gamble and Cotton Miller.
Catherine’s family would like to thank Baptist Hospice, their aides and nurses for all their kindness and help and Arlean M. Dixon, Shirley Sasser and Verdell Hartley for all their loving care.
