Denise was born February 7, 1963, in La Marque, Texas to Reva Redo Mathews and the late O. C. Mathews. She attended La Marque public schools.

LA MARQUE — Gordon Oberholtzer, 62, of La Marque passed away Sunday, December 5, 2004, at his residence. He was born June 14, 1942, in Ravenna, Ohio; a resident of La Marque for 30 years formerly from Ravenna, Ohio; he was a plumber, serving the Galveston County area for 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents Gail and Ruby Oberholtzer, sister Wanda Smith and brother Jim Oberholtzer.

SANTA FE — Mrs. Lillie Alice Fields passed away at her home in Santa Fe, Texas on Wednesday, December 8, 2004, after a short illness. She was 71 years old.
Lillie was born in Headland, Alabama on September 16, 1933, to Howard and Lizzie Hodges. While in high school, she worked as a nurse's aid, and after graduation worked as a telephone operator at Fort Benning, Georgia, where she met and married
Bobby Joe Fields in 1956, beginning a union that would span 48 years.

ARCADIA — Mr. Kirby Wayne Barnes passed from this life Tuesday, December 7, 2004, in Alvin.
Born December 22, 1939, in Baytown, Mr. Barnes had been a resident of Arcadia for 40 years. He had been employed at Amoco Oil for 35 years as a dock supervisor, served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Aerie # 3789 in Santa Fe. Mr. Barnes was of the Baptist faith and enjoyed collecting coins, stamps and guns.

TEXAS CITY — Hallie Reagan, 99, of Texas City, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2004, at Ashton Parke Care Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:30 p.m., Sunday, December 12, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home with Pastor Jack Groebner officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 1:30 p.m. until service time Sunday, at the funeral home.
Ms. Reagan was born July 22, 1905, in Eureka, Texas. She was retired from Big Chief Grocery and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Samuel G. Reagan.
Survivors include her daughter Betty Gates, of Texas City; grandsons, Samuel Gates and wife, Phyllis, David Gates and wife, Rebecca, and Mark Gates and wife, Sue; great-grandchildren, Stefan Furman, Zeke Gates, Jessica Collier and husband, Wesley, Mandy Williams and husband, Mark Sanchez, Vicky Gates, Laura Gates and Sarah Gates; 7 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Charles A. Kent and numerous other relatives and friends.

Ken "Snoopy" Wisner departed this life on November 26, 2004; he was born March 31, 1939 in El Dorado, Illinois. Snoopy brought joy to those he was around and touched a lot of lives as he went through life. He always had a smile and hug for everyone.
He will live on through his family. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Debbie; daughter Carolyn Brooks; son Kenneth Wisner III; grandchildren Dayna, Derek, Brianne, Kenneth IV, Dylan and Faith; his brothers and sisters of Los Carnales and La Familia and his family at Studio 131/2.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m., Thursday, December 16, 2004 and Friday, December 17, 2004. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 18, 2004 at 11a.m. at Jack Rowe Funeral Home in League City, Texas; interment to follow at Mount Olivet Catholic cemetery in Dickinson.

GALVESTON - Byron found his way to eternity on Sunday December 5, 2004.
He was born in Clifton, Texas, on November 14, 1983.
Family he left behind were his parents, his cat Diamond (Wolfie), and his Grandfather.
For all of those that were fortunate enough to have had Byron in their lifes, take a minute to remember the way he was with you and others he cared about.

Elizabeth "Bessie" A. Dayhoff
Elizabeth "Bessie" A. Dayhoff passed away on December 11, 2004. Mrs. Dayhoff was born May 24, 1910 in Galveston, Texas to Henry and Gwendolyn Elfstrom (from Cardiff, Wales) Claussen.
Ms. Dayhoff is preceded in death by her husband, George W. Dayhoff Sr. who was a WWII U.S. Army veteran and son, Dr. E. Eugene Dayhoff, great-granddaughter Jessie Willhelm, seven brothers and sisters.
She is survived by three daughters: Elizabeth A. Willhelm of League City, Lenora J. Farinola of Houston and Susan A. Skelton of San Diego, CA. Two sons: George W. Dayhoff, Jr of Austin and Allen S. Dayhoff of Pearland. Twenty five grandchildren, fifty three great-grandchildren and 26 great-great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 12, 2004, at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson. Service will be held at10 a.m. Monday, December 13, 2004 at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church in Dickinson. Bessie will be buried next to her husband at the Houston National cemetery, with a Private Graveside Service.
