DICKINSON - Leota Pearl Ingram, 66, passed away on July 19, 2003, at her residence in Dickinson, Texas. She was born January 18, 1937, in Salinas, California to Floyd and Clarice Geurin.
Memorial services will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2003, at 1:30 p.m. at Crowder Funeral Home in Dickinson, Texas.
Leota was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Don Ingram and two daughters, Andrea and Delores Ann Ingram.
Survivors include three daughters, Angela McKee, Carol Day and Lorena Gambrel; son, David Ingram; two sisters, Christine Phipps and Nitia Reynon, seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and a dear friend of the family, Kevin Ellis.

GALVESTON - Ida Turner Browning, 68, passed away Monday, July 14, 2003, at her residence.
Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Friday, July 25, 2003, followed by a wake from 7-8pm at E. R. Johnson Family Mortuary.
Funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 26, 2003, at St. John Baptist Church, with Rev. Louis Simpson, Jr. officiating. Burial will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2003, at the Houston National cemetery.
Ida was born on Sept. 12, 1934, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Ralph, Sr. and Amy Jones Turner. She was retired from UTMB Hospital after 25 years of service.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and aunt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Thomas Browning; sons, Theodore Turner and Leonard Johnson.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Yvette Renee Ponce; grandchildren, LaVar, Jabbar and Deidre Williams, Spencer Sullivan, Stephen Strickland; fourgreat grandchildren; mother and father in law, Leola and Eugene Jones; brothers, Charles Turner, Sr. (Faye), Ralph Turner, Jr. (Brenda); sister, Ethel Turner; play sisters, Mattie Latier and Irella Tubbs; host of others dedicated nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Charles Turner, Jr., Curtis Turner, Sr., Curtis Tuner, Jr., Ricky Turner, Larry Turner and Charran Turner.
