LEAGUE CITY - Brenda White, 47, of League City, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2003. She was a sixth grade teacher for Clear Creek ISD since 1980.
Brenda is survived by her husband, Michael Gene White; son, Steven Michael White; mother, Eulalia Bednorz; mother-in-law, Ann Patrolia; grandmother, Clara Strzelczyk; sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Danny Dunn; brothers and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Barbara Bednorz, Sam Bednorz; brothers-in-law and their wives, Paul and Janet White, Scott and Danette White, Jake White and numerous other relatives.
Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2003, with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. in the chapel of Forest Park East Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2003, at St. George Catholic Church in George West, Texas, with Rite of Committal at St. George Catholic cemetery.

GALVESTON - Ricky Vernard Williams, 40, passed away July 27, 2003, at Park Plaza Hospital in Houston, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2003, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home, 1201 Tremont, Galveston, Texas with Rev H. Jerry Temple officiating. Graveside services will follow at Mainland Memorial cemetery in Hitchcock, Texas. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., July 31, 2003, at the funeral home with a wake to be held at 7p.m.
Ricky was born May 30, 1963, in Galveston, Texas to Charlie Bert and Margie Mitchell Williams. He attended Galveston public schools, graduating from Ball High School with the Class of 1983. He was employed by Mariner Health Services of Houston for more than ten years at the time his illness forced him to retire.
preceded in death by his parents, Ricky is survived by his sisters, Chief Warrant Officer Two Pamela R. Williams of Fort Hood, Texas and Hattie Jackson and husband, Robert of Pinole, California; brothers, Nathan Williams and Larry Williams and wife, Carriso all of Galveston and Cleveland Williams of San Antonio, Texas; stepsisters, Bonita Scott and husband, William of Dickinson, Demetra Edwards of Houston and Johnese Edwards of Galveston; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

GALVESTON - Mila Musich, 97, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at UTMB Hospital.
Mila was born in Lumbarda, Yugoslavia on March 21, 1906. She moved to Galveston, December 30, 1952, where she worked for many years at Sacred Heart School cafeteria. Recently, she was a resident of Gulf Health Care Center.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mandalina Musich, sister, Mary Musich Lozica and brother-in-law, John B. Lozica, Sr.
She is survived by her nephew, John B. Lozica, Jr. and wife, Martha, of Houston; her nieces, Mary Milos and Cecilia Carlson and husband, Oscar, of Galveston; and numerous great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors after 5 p.m., Thursday, July 31, 2003, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home. A rosary will be held at 6:30 p.m., led by Father Beni Wego.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Friday, August 1, 2003, at Malloy & Son Funeral Home with Father Frank Fabj officiating. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Catholic cemetery.

WEST TEXAS CITY - Mrs. Earmer L Holmes passed away Monday, July 28, 2003, at UTMB Hospital in Galveston.
Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2003, at the Mainland Funeral Home Chapel in La Marque. A vigil service will begin at 7 p.m. Funeral mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2003, at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 1224 Cedar Dr. in La Marque with Msgr. T. Joseph Culver, celebrant. Burial will follow at Galveston Memorial Park cemetery in Hitchcock.
Mrs. Holmes was born in Cutoff, Louisiana to the late Joseph Anthony and Cora Crechein Sam. She was a member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She was employed with St. Mary's Hospital in Galveston as a Central Supply Technician.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Abraham Holmes Jr. and four siblings.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Abraham Holmes III (Diana) of Galveston, Ercell Holmes, Sharon Rochelle Holmes Thomas both of Houston, Mary Lovingail Herring and Michael Anthony Holmes both of LaMarque; a sister, Mary Betty Anderson (Christopher) of Dickinson; a brother, Joseph Anthony Sam of Galveston; eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. Mr. Kenneth Ray Williams, Sr. 66, loving husband, great father and proud grandfather, of Bayou Vista, passed away, Saturday, October 4, 2003.
He was born in Goliad, Texas, served in the U.S. Navy, and worked as a computer programmer.
Survivors include his wife of 36 years, Aggie Williams; daughter, Belinda Lloyd and her husband, Dennis; son, Kenneth R. Williams, Jr., and wife, DeDe; sister, Mary Lou Fromme and husband, Puggie; brother, Ronnie Williams and wife, Evelyn; grandchildren, Kenneth and Alyssa Williams and soon to be born, Peanut Lloyd.
Visitation will be at the Forest Park East Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m., Sunday with services to be held in their chapel at 3:00 p.m., Monday, October 6, 2003. Interment will be in the Forest Park East cemetery.

Josephine Mitrovich DeHart, born November 6, 1923, in Galveston, passed away Thursday, October 2, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years, Clarence and her son, James.
Survivors include her son, David L. DeHart and his wife, Edna, of Bedford, Texas; daughter, Carol S. Myers and her husband, Stephen, of Houston; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 7, 2003, at First Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 2119 Avalon Place, Houston, with the Rev. Geoff Knight officiating.

Amethyst was born January 17, 1984, in Texas City, Texas to Bobby and Carol Weeks. She worked at the Englewood Care Center, in League City, as a care giver to the mentally challenged. Amethyst, our beautiful and loving Angel will forever be in our hearts.
