Charles B. Hartsell
FLOYDADA - Funeral services for Charles Blanton Hartsell, 89, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church.
Burial will be in Lakeview cemetery by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.
Mr. Hartsell died Monday, Nov. 17, 2003, in Crosbyton Hospital.
He was born March 24, 1914, in Wise County, the son of James Arthur and Edna Caroline Giles Hartsell. He was a lifelong resident of Floyd County, a Baptist and farmer.
On Nov. 10, 1939, he married
Ruby Harrison at Mount Blanco Parsonage.
Survivors include his wife; one son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Sharon Hartsell of Crosbyton; a daughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and H.D. Lamberth of Carlsbad, N.M.; a brother, Truitt James Hartsell of Plainview; a sister, Modena Phillips of Mesa, Ariz.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Glen Hartsell and Roger Hartsell, and three sisters, Lotella Burrows, Estelene Holmes and Ervalea Colville, are deceased.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home. They suggest memorials to a favorite charity.

Louise Howard
ANTON - Funeral services for Louise Howard, 89, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Syl Moore and the Rev. Rush Coffman officiating.
Entombment will be in Resthaven Mausoleum in Lubbock by Adams Funeral Home of Ralls.
Mrs. Howard died Tuesday morning, Nov. 18, 2003, in Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born Nov. 27, 1913, in Lelia Lake, the daughter of the late Ernest Luther and Maggie Mae Reeves Lewis. She was a homemaker, moved to Whitharral from Lelia Lake in 1942 and to Anton in 1949.
She was a member of First Baptist Church. She also was a charter member of the 1950 Study Club and Anton Senior Citizens Association.
On Aug. 16, 1931, she married
Lon Howard in Lelia Lake. He died Dec. 30, 2000.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Suzi Howard of Abernathy; a sister, Alta Lane of Canyon; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A brother and four sisters are deceased.
Visitation will be from 10:30 a.m. Thursday until service time at the church. The family suggests memorials to the Anton Senior Citizens or to a favorite charity.

Jetty Inis Hukill
OLTON - Funeral services for Jetty Inis Hukill, 91, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in First Baptist Church with Max Barnett, her nephew, and the Rev. Kyle Screun, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Littlefield Memorial Park by Foskey, Lilley, McGill Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hukill died at 4 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 18, 2003, in Runningwater Draw Care Center.
She was born Oct. 13, 1912, in OŽBrien, the daughter of the late Cecil Glen and Maude Velma Barnett. She grew up in OŽBrien where she attended schools and graduated from Amherst High School.
She was a homemaker and had farmed in the Hart Camp-Fieldton area for 65 years.
She was a member of Fieldton Baptist Church where she taught a womenŽs Sunday school class and later was a member of First Baptist Church in Olton.
On Dec. 22, 1934, she married
Judson Paul Hukill in Earth.
Survivors include her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayland Dean and Sue Hukill of Winters and Dewey and Patricia Hukill of Olton; a sister, Lynell Ratliff of Dunamuir, Calif.; six grandchildren and spouses, Wes and Lori Hukill of Pampa, Paula Hukill of Alamogordo, N.M., Dana Landrum of Amarillo, Kregg and Lezlie Hukill of Plainview, Kelli and John Smith of Amarillo and Kevin and Tamra Hukill of Olton; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Wayne Barnett and Bacyl Barnett and a sister, Lorato Johnston, also are deceased.

Audrey Hunt
VERNON - Funeral services for Audrey Hunt, 79, of Vernon, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Center Christian Church with the Rev. Claude Hunt officiating. Burial will be in Eastview cemetery by Sullivan Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hunt died Thursday, Nov. 20, 2003, in Wichita Falls.
She was born Aug. 11, 1924, in Vernon, the daughter of the late John Douglas and Nola Tyler Holliman. She married
W.R. Hunt on Sept. 26, 1941, in Altus, Okla.
She was a lifetime resident of Vernon and a member of Central Christian Church. She worked for Pear Tree, Vernon Drug and Gibson Discount Center for many years.
Survivors include her husband; one son, Karl Hunt of Vernon; two daughters, Neisha Halencak of Plainview and Janice Swanson of Iowa Park; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Two brothers and two sisters are deceased.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Wichita Falls.

Baltazar Lozano Sr.

Mr. Lozano died at 11:20 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2003, at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount, N.C.
He was born June 5, 1914, in Nonueva, Mexico.
Survivors include five sons, Baltazar Lozano Jr. of Plainview, Eliseo Lozano and Eugeunio Lozano, both of Juarez, Mexico, John Lozano of Santa Monica, Calif., and Joe Lozano of South Bend, Ind.; one sister, Andrea Quintana of Chihuahua, Mexico; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Eugene Merriman
GARLAND - Graveside services for Eugene Merriman, 64, were at 10 a.m. Thursday in Grove Hill cemetery.
Burial arrangements were by Eastgate Funeral Home.
Mr. Merriman died Sunday, Nov. 16, 2003, in Dallas Veterans Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born July 14, 1939.
He owned and operated GeneŽs Vacuum Service in the Dallas area and had served in the U.S. Navy.
His wife, Toni, and his father, Doyn Merriman, are deceased.
Survivors include three sons, Allen Merriman of Irving, and Rickey and Mickey Merriman, both of Dallas; five daughters and a son-in-law, Michael Merriman of Dallas, Debbie and Jerry Kelly of Cortage, Miss., Terri Merriman of Wichita Falls and Patti Merriman and Mary Lee Garcia, both of Merced, Calif.; his mother, Katherine Merriman of Plainview; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Monette Merriman of Canyon, and Gary Merriman and Valerie Job of Lubbock; and four grandchildren.
Visitation was from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home in Garland.
The family suggests memorials to any Veterans Administration Hospital.
