Alta Robertson
FLOYDADA - Graveside services for Alta Robertson, 91, of Bedford, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Floydada cemetery with the Rev. Anthony Sisemore, pastor of First Baptist Church in Floydada, officiating.
Burial arrangements are by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.
Mrs. Robertson died Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2000, in Bedford.
She was born on March 13, 1908, in Collin County, the daughter of the late John and Ada Chaddick Strain. She attended school in Plano and moved to Floydada in 1925 and to Bedford in 1993. She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
In 1924, she married
Joe R. Robertson Sr. He died in 1985.
Survivors include six sons, James Robertson of Marble Falls, Melvin Robertson of Grapevine, Bob Robertson of Fort Worth, Earl Robertson of Huntsville, Kenneth Robertson of Baytown and Jerry Robertson of The Woodlands; three daughters, Patsy Dunn of Lubbock, Patricia Goss of New Carey and Karen Pratt of Katy; 29 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
A son, Joe Robertson Jr., a daughter, Glenna Walls, four brothers and three sisters are deceased.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:30-7:30 p.m. today.

Billie Jack Finney
Funeral services for Billie Jack Finney, 65, of Fort Worth, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Bartley-Silva Memorial Chapel with Bruce Baird officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Bartley-Silva Funeral Home.
Mr. Finney died Jan. 1, 2000 at his residence.
He was born July 7, 1934 in Center Plains, the son of the late Belton and Dovie Finney. He was a truck driver for the U.S. Postal Service for several years and a veteran of the U.S. Army during the Korean War.
Survivors include two sons, Philip W. Finney of Indianapolis, Ind., and Bryan K. Finney of Irving; four brothers, Alton W. Finney of Midlothian, “Gene” Clint E. Finney of Spur, C.W. “Tex” Finney of Fort Worth and Richard A. Finney of Tulia.
Three brothers, James A. Finney, O´Dell W. Finney and O.R. “Red” Finney, are deceased.
The family suggests memorials to Tulia Central Church of Christ Youth Fund.
The family will receive friends at noon Saturday at the Far East Restaurant in Plainview.

She was born Carolyn Rhoads on June 13, 1950, in Haskell. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jana Beesinger of Silverton and Heather Davis of Merkle; a son, Brandon Kitchens of Ankeny, Iowa; a brother, Roy Rhoads of Branson, Mo.; a sister, Sue Blankenship of Denton; and four grandchildren.

Mrs. Lacy died at 3:45 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2000, in Hi-Plains Hospital in Hale Center.
She was born June 8, 1908, in DeLeon. She grew up in Floydada where she attended schools. She moved to Plainview in 1935 and operated the Airport Motel for several years. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.
Survivors include one son, Earl Randall Moon of Lubbock; one brother, Jim Kimble of Amarillo; one sister, Mary Winton of Plainview; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Her three husbands, Grady Moon, Norman Waggoner and Randy Lacy, and two sons, Raymond Moon and Richard Moon, are deceased.

She was born Nov. 7, 1938, in Big Spring. She moved to Clarendon from Borger in 1961 and was co-owner of Caprock Floral in Silverton. She was a 4-H leader and a member of Silverton United Methodist Church.
On Aug. 22, 1959, she married
Mike Lee Smith in Clarendon.
Survivors include her husband; two sons, Bill Smith and Lee Smith, both of Silverton; her mother, Ione Cushing of Clarendon; and two grandchildren.

Woodrow Bryan

Mr. Bryan died at 4:28 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 6, 2000, in University Medical Center in Lubbock.
He was born April 25, 1917, in Chillicothe. He moved to Lubbock County in 1941 from Lynn County and worked for Anderson-Young Electric for 40 years.
He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wolfforth.
On March 3, 1935, he married
Lucy Cook in O´Donnell.
Survivors include his wife; one son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Betty Bryan of Kress; two brothers, Clint Bryan of Lewisville and Robert I. Bryan of Houston; four sisters, Frances Moorhead of Georgetown, Joyce “Joy” Demattis of California, Lois Heath of Midland and Billie Jane Homnick of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren.
