DUMAS -- Graveside services for June Mills, 71, sister of Martha Lotspeich of Floydada, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Llano cemetery in Amarillo with Arlie Markusen officiating.

Jean Craft Mitchell
Funeral services for Jean Craft Mitchell, 76, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Q.D. Bevill, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Lemons Funeral home.
Mrs. Mitchell died Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, in Lubbock.
She was born Feb. 21, 1928, in Qulin, Mo. She married
Clyde D. Mitchell.
Survivors include her husband; four sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Rita Craft of Plainview, C.F. and Debbie Cox and Dennis and Paulette Cox, all of of San Bernadio, Calif., and Randy and Delores Mitchell of Lubbock; 12 grandchildren, Bobby and Donna Craft of Plainview, Theresa and Richard Waller of Petersburg, Randy Lynn Mitchell, Ben Mickey Mitchell, Christian Mitchell and Christopher Mitchell, all of Plainview, and Denny Cox, Lance Cox, Ronny Gene Cox, Denise Cox, Amber Cox and Courtney Cox, all of San Bernadino, Calif.; seven great-grandchildren, Krista Carter, Kayla Waller, Lindsey Craft, Nicholas Waller, Tristen Craft, Amy Mitchell and Dorian Mitchell; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother-in-law, Daryl Mitchell of Plainview.
Reid Rogers
Funeral services for Reid Rogers, 19, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with the Rev. Wally Chavez, the Rev. Steve Martinez and Dr. Morris Sheats officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview cemetery by Bartley Funeral Home.
Mr. Rogers died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, in Plainview.
He was born Sept. 17, 1985, in Amarillo. He was a 2004 graduate of Plainview High School and was a student at Wayland Baptist University. He had lived in Plainview for 10 years after moving from Sulphur Springs.
He was a past secretary for the PHS band, vice president of the PHS Student Council his junior year, played varsity basketball for PHS and was an officer of the LEO Club. He was a winner of Leadership Plainview Scholarship, a member of Student Senate, attended Texas Boys State and was a La Verne Roach Award nominee.
He was a member of Trinity Fellowship Church and on the staff of One-eighty Youth Ministry. He worked as a server at The Cotton Patch Restaurant.
Survivors include his parents, Steve and Debi Rogers of Plainview; a sister, Rachael Rogers of Denton; a brother, Rustin Rogers of Plainview; his grandmother, Frances Watson of Winter Park, Fla.; and several aunts, uncles and cousins and close friends.
Pallbearers will be Chase Thompson, Brandon Gilroy, Mario Leyva, Phillip Cunningham, Cody Russell and Jose Serrano.
The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
They suggest memorials to the 180 Youth Fund at Trinity Church in Plainview.
Patsye Anne Payne
Funeral services for Patsye Anne Payne, 77, of Plainview, were at 10 a.m. today in First Baptist Church chapel with Dr. Travis Hart, pastor, officiating.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Mt. Carmel cemetery in Wolfe City by Wood-Dunning Funeral Home.
Mrs. Payne died at 10:20 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 2004, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock.
She was born Feb. 13, 1927, in Wolfe City, to Pat and Ura Brooks Traylor.
She married
Joe Truett Payne on June 4, 1950, in Plainview. He died June 22, 1999.
Mrs. Payne moved to Plainview at a young age. She graduated from Plainview High School, attended Wayland Baptist University and Texas Tech.
She owned and operated Payne´s Gift and Jewelry for 38 years. After retiring in 1992, she worked part-time at Passport Gifts at Old World Antiques.
Mrs. Payne was a member of the Gamma Delphin Study Club, Plains Art Association, Texas Tech Museum Association, the Fourth Wednesday Bridge Club, First Baptist Church and Corky Terrell´s Sunday School Class.
Survivors include an aunt, Mary Standefer, and a cousin, Mary Ann Collins, both of Las Cruces, N.M., several friends and and her caregivers, Garland and Kathryn Lott of Plainview, and several nieces and nephews.
Lillian Barley
Funeral services for Lillian Barley, 76, were at 2 p.m. today in Bartley Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Roger Foote, pastor of Northside Baptist Church, officiating.
Mrs. Barley died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at her residence.
Dean Cagle
TULIA - Funeral services for Dean Cagle, 76, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in First United Methodist Church.
Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Tulia.
Mr. Cagle died Wednesday, Oct. 20, 2004, at his residence.
Verna Daniels
Funeral services for Verna Daniels, 81, are pending with Kornerstone Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Daniels died Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004, in Prairie House Living Center.
Cecil Baxter
FLOYDADA -- Funeral services for Cecil “Red” Baxter, 88, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in First Baptist Church with Dr. Floyd Bradley of Lubbock officiating.
Burial will be in Floydada cemetery by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.
Mr. Baxter died Thursday, Oct. 28, 2004, at Prairie House Living Center in Plainview.
He was born Nov. 25, 1915, in Floyd County, the son of Walter William and Etta Mae Gray Baxter. He was a farmer and cattleman and had worked on several ranches in the area. He also was a self-taught carpenter.
He served as president of the board of directors at Lighthouse Electric from 1963-87. He collected western relics and spurs. Some of his western memorabilia is on display at the Texas Tech University Museum and at the Floyd County Museum.
He was a lifelong resident of Floydada and a member of First Baptist Church.
On June 30, 1934, he married
Rena Mae Lyles in Floydada.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Waldo Baxter of Hereford; one brother, Roy Baxter of Floydada; one sister, Wanda Inklebarger of Tahoka; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A son, James Kerwin Baxter, died in 2002. Three brothers, J.C. Baxter, Johnnie Baxter and J.L. Baxter, also are deceased.
The family will receive friend at the funeral home from 5-7 p.m. today.
