Irma Flores

Funeral services for Irma Flores, 39, will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in New Life Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Steve Martinez officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mrs. Flores died Friday, Dec. 24, 2004, in Covenant Hospital Plainview.

She was born March 28, 1965 in Paducah.

Survivors include her husband Robert Flores, of Plainview; two daughters, Delilah Guerra and Stephanie Guerra, both of Plainview; four sons, Ernest, Mario, Steven, and Ricky Guerra all of Plainview; four brothers, Alex and Randy Plasencio and Joey Maciel all of Plainview, Carlos Plasencio of Amarillo; four sisters, Rosalinda Villa and Debbie and Geneva Maciel, all of Plainview and Mary Enriquez of Amarillo and six grandchildren.

John Lilley

Funeral services for John Lilley, 78 will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Lemons Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Marvin Toler of Stephenville officiating.

Burial will be in Plainview cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.

Mr. Lilley died Monday, Dec. 27, 2004, at Plains Memorial Hospital in Dimmitt.

He was born Sept. 11, 1926, in Hart and attended school in Olton. He married Vaudine Herndon in Farwell on Oct. 29, 1945.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gary Lilley of Hart and Brent Lilley of Nazareth; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A sister, Lydia Maye Coleman, is deceased.

Billy Gene Parker

STIGLER, Okla. -- Funeral services for Billy Gene Parker, 68, were at 1 p.m. Monday in Heaven Bound Freewill Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Messer officiating.

Burial with military rites by the VFW Post #4446 was in Enterprise cemetery by King & Shearwood Funeral Home.

Mr. Parker died Saturday, Dec. 25, 2004, in Haskell County Hospital.

He was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Hoyt, the son of Eugene D. and Opal Jenkins Parker. He grew up at Hoyt where he attended schools. He served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He was self-employed in the upholstery business until 1975 when he began selling automobiles. He retired from Williams Chevrolet in 2002.

He was a member of Heaven Bound Freewill Baptist Church.

On Nov. 18, 1957, he married Doralene Higgins in Sayre, Okla.

Survivors include his wife; three sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Valinda Parker of Plainview, Texas, Danny and Vennessa Parker of Beaver Mountain, and David and Misty Parker of Quinton; his father, Eugene Parker of Stigler; two brothers, Hershel Parker of Prague and Euel Parker of Oklahoma City; four sisters, Phyllis Brown of Purcell, Glenda Whitehead of Kinta, Sally Thrasher of Laverne and Wanda Peters of Enterprise; his mother-in-law, Tennessee Virginia Higgins of Quinton; and five grandchildren.

His mother, Opal Parker, is deceased.

Margaret Collier

FLOYDADA -- Funeral services for Margaret Collier, 93, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church chapel with the Rev. Anthony Sisemore and the Rev. Neely Landrum officiating.

Burial will be in Lockney cemetery by Moore-Rose-White Funeral Home.

Mrs. Collier died Tuesday, Dec. 28, 2004, in Mangold Memorial Hospital in Lockney.

Reynaldo Sanchez

DIMMITT -- Funeral Mass for Reynaldo Sanchez, 59, brother of Primitivo Sanchez Jr., and Mary Sanchez, both of Plainview, was at 2 p.m. today in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with the Rev. Guadalupe Mayorga officiating.

Burial was in Castro Memorial Gardens by Foskey-Lilley-McGill Funeral Home.

Mr. Sanchez died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2004.

Lon Comer

Graveside services for Lon Comer, 83, of Plainview, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens with Cody Clower of Dallas officiating. Arrangements are by Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Mr. Comer died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, 2005, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Amarillo.

He was born Oct. 9, 1921, in Lockney. He graduated from high school and business college in Plainview and was in the 61st Medical Training Battalion during World War II.

After the war, he owned and operated Comer Cleaners which was located across from the Granada Theater. He later ran a laundry service.

He was a member of American Legion, a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans and a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

He married Mignon Womack on Oct. 31, 1942, in Plainview.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Kenneth Cricklow of Lubbock and Beverly and Charlie Anderson of Buffalo Springs Lake; one son and daughter-in-law, Lon and Darla Comer II of Plainview; eight grandchildren, Randy Stephenson, Marty Comer, Lisa Comer, Cody Clower, Angela Stanley, Richard Scott Jones, Kristi Ferris and Shana Gonzales; 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Memorials may be made to Disabled American Veterans of Lubbock.

The family will receive family and friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Kornerstone Funeral Directors.

Raul Leal Jr.

LUBBOCK -- Funeral Mass for Raul Leal Jr., 57, who grew up in Plainview where he graduated from high school in 1959, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Burial will be in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park by Brock´s South Plains Funeral Directors.

Mr. Leal died Monday, Jan. 24, 2005, in Covenant Medical Center.
