LUBBOCK -- Funeral services for George Ulie Gilliam, 90, brother of Ordie Gentry of Olton, will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday in Abbey Chapel at Resthaven Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Park.

Renata Druesedow
LUBBOCK -- Funeral services for Renata L. Druesedow, 87, of Abernathy, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in Redeemer Lutheran Church with Pastor Jay Beyer officiating.
Entombment will be in Resthaven Mausoleum under the direction of Rix Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Druesedow died Saturday, March 26, 2005.
She was born in Abernathy, Texas, June 25, 1917, and married
Alvin Druesedow in Posey, Texas, on June 25, 1939. He passed away July 22, 1980.
Renata was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and a joy to all who knew her.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Clara Neis of Petersburg; and several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends.
Visitation will be from 5:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at Rix Funeral Directors.

E.J. Hamilton
LUBBOCK -- Masonic graveside services for E.J. Hamilton, 98, former Plainview resident, were at 2 p.m. today in Quitaque cemetery.
Arrangements were by Resthaven Funeral Home.
Mr. Hamilton died Friday, March 25, 2005, at his residence.
He was born April 9, 1906, in Indian Territory Oklahoma, the son of Jasper Newton and Clora Ann Hall Hamilton. He graduated from Quitaque High School in 1926 and attended Clarendon College.
He lived in Quitaque where he farmed and ranched. He moved to Plainview in 1972 and to Lubbock in 1980.
He was a 33rd Degree Mason and was honored with a rare Masonic 75-year membership award. He became a Master Mason in May 1929 and had been a Mason for 76 years. He was a member of the Sunrise Kiwanis Club and Saint John´s United Methodist Church.
On Dec. 19, 1931, he married
Lennie Jo Davidson in Clovis, N.M. She died Oct. 30, 1996. He married
Nell Reasoner on Nov. 3, 1997. She died Jan. 21, 2005.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews.
Five brothers, B.K. Hamilton, N.V. Hamilton, P.C. Hamilton, Paul Hamilton and Noman Hamilton; and two sisters, Sara Setliff and Mary Garrison Burson, are deceased.
The family suggests memorials to a favorite charity.

Alicia Burrell
Funeral services for Alicia Burrell, 71, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park by Kornerstone Funeral Directors.
Mrs. Burrell died at 1:10 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2005, at her residence.
She was born April 4, 1933, in Eagle Pass. She married
Juan Burrell in 1962 in Plainview. She was a longtime Plainview resident.
Survivors include one daughter, Ruby Ann Jimenez of Plainview; two sons, Rudy Escobar of Henderson, Nev., and Toby Lee Burrell of Plainview; five brothers, Valdo DeHoyos of Yuma, Ariz., Arthur Garcia of Kentucky, Roy DeHoyos of San Antonio, Armando DeHoyos of Carrizo Springs and Roberto DeHoyos of Amarillo; three sisters, Irma Lopez of Amarillo, Delia Cervera of San Antonio and Berta Garcia of Crystal City; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Her husband and two sisters preceded her in death.

Jimmy Don Chennault
Funeral services for Jimmy Don Chennault, 65, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Calvary Baptist Church with the Rev. Mark Weiss, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Plainview Memorial Park cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mr. Chennault died at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2005, at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born July 8, 1939, in Vernon, the son of Guy and Halva Chennault, and moved with his family to Plainview in 1953. He attended schools in Lockney and Plainview and also attended Wayland.
He served in the U.S. Navy from 1957-60 and was an All-Navy softball player. He later played softball and baseball for leagues in Plainview.
He owned and operated an agricultural chemical business for several years.
Mr. Chennault served as a deacon and youth director at Calvary Baptist Church. He was a sports official for 35 years, calling football, basketball and baseball games. He officiated in the state girls basketball tournament for four years and also officiated NAIA playoff baseball games.
Survivors include his wife, Alice; a daughter and son-in-law, Melissa and Robert Mays of Baytown; a son and daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Rhonda Hareford of Plainview; his mother, Halva Chennault of Sun City, Ariz.; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sue and Bennie Jones of Peoria, Ariz., and Dorothy and Charley Westbrook of Sun City, Ariz.; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Guy Herm Chennault of Sun City, Ariz., and Randy and Nancy Chennault of Peoria, Ariz.; three grandsons, Derrick Daniel, Carl Spence and Shanon Hareford; and one granddaughter, Amanda Hareford.
A daughter, Tami Daniel, and his father, Guy Chennault, are deceased.
The family suggests memorials to the American Diabetes Association or the Calvary Baptist Church Youth Camp fund.
