Dolares Ann Guajardo
LEVELLAND -- Funeral services for Dolares Ann Garrett Guajardo, 35, will be at 2 p.m. Friday in Cactus Drive Church of Christ with Wayne Horton, minister, officiating.
Burial will be in Levelland cemetery by Head & Duarte Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. today and Thursday and from 9 a.m-noon Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Guajardo died June 20, 2005, at University Medical Center in Lubbock.
Mrs. Guajardo was born Jan. 2, 1970, in Lockney to Willie Lewis and Mae Purl Bradford Garrett.
She had lived in Levelland since 1997, moving from Plainview. She was employed at the Levelland Nursing Home as a certified nurse´s assistant for several years.
She was a member of Cactus Drive Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Robelin Guajardo; four sons, Harley Donavon Garrett, Andrew Garrett, Robelin Guajardo Jr. and Elijah Guajardo, all of Levelland; her mother, Mae Purl Bradford Garrett of Levelland; two sisters, Lorie Garrett and Betty Garrett, both of Levelland; and two brothers, Bobby Garrett of Levelland and Douglas Garrett of Plainview.
Her father is deceased.

Virginia Vasquez
Graveside funeral services for Virginia Vasquez, 55, were at 2 p.m. today in Lockney cemetery with the Rev. Ignacio Soto and Tom Maldonado officiating.
Arrangements were by Lemons Funeral Home.
Miss Vasquez died Sunday, June 19, 2005, in a Lubbock nursing facility.
She was born Aug. 31, 1949, in Raymondville, the daughter of Roman and Maria Vasquez. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include her mother, Maria Vasquez of Plainview; two brothers, Roman Vasquez Jr. and Luis Vasquez, both of Plainview; two sisters, Ninfa Luna of Uvalde and Rosa Baltierra of Robstown; and 33 nieces and nephews.
Her father; a brother, Refugio Vasquez; and a sister, Epifania Maldonado; are deceased.

HEREFORD -- Funeral services for Jose Alfredo Cobos Sr., 45, brother of Mario T. Cobos of Plainview, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Rix Funeral Chapel with Israel Olivo, minister, officiating.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Restlawn Memorial Park cemetery by Rix Funeral Directors.
Mr. Cobos died Monday, June 20, 2005, at his residence.

Benton D. Chief´ Coe
Funeral services for Benton D. “Chief” Coe, 75, will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Lemons Funeral Home with the Rev. Drew Travis, pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating.
Burial will follow in Plainview Memorial Park under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home.
He died Friday, March 25, 2005, in a Hale Center nursing facility.
He was born March 18, 1930, in Estacado in Crosby County to John and Irene Benton Coe. The family moved to Plainview when he graduated in the class of 1947. He attended Abilene Christian College where he played basketball.
He worked as a home builder in Plainview.
Survivors include two daughters, Suzanne Coyle and Nancy Lee Donaldson, both of Dallas; a son, Colin Coe of Austin; one brother, John G. Coe Jr. of Dallas; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
His parents preceded him in death.

Katie Lloyd
RUSK -- Funeral services for Katie Lloyd, 91, will be at 2 p.m. Monday in Memorial Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Charles Murphy, pastor; the Rev. Don Copeland, former pastor; the Rev. Toby Easley, grandson-in-law; and the Rev. Kent Lloyd, a grandson, officiating.
Burial will be in Oakland cemetery by Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home of Rusk.
Mrs. Lloyd died Friday, March 25, 2005, in Oak Park Nursing Home in Rusk.
She was born July 2, 1913, in Maydelle and was a lifelong resident of Rusk. She married
Carl Lloyd in January 1929.
She was a member of Memorial Missionary Baptist Church and was a pianist and organist for churches in East Texas through the years. She also played for hundreds of funerals and revival meetings in the Rusk area. She had worked for Rusk State Hospital for many years before retiring in 1974.
Survivors include her husband; two sons and daughters-in-law, Gary and Doylene Lloyd of Plainview and James Earl and Bina of Rusk; a daughter and son-in-law, Louverl and Jim Bob Griffin of Rusk; eight grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home. The family suggests memorials to Gideons International, P.O. Box 140800, Nashville, TN 37214-0800

Maria Dolores Ramos
Funeral Mass for Maria Dolores Ramos, 70, will be at 3 p.m. Monday in Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. John Ohlig, pastor, officiating.

Rosary will be recited at 6:30 tonight at the funeral home.
Mrs. Ramos died Thursday, March 24, 2005, at her home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born Feb. 3, 1935, in Anson to Martin and Antonia Gonzalez. She married
Alfredo N. Ramos on Jan. 28, 1956, in Plainview.
Dolores was a faithful member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church where she was a member of the Guadalupanas and the Cursillistas.
Survivors include her husband; four daughters, Yolanda Moreno, Crestina Castillo and husband Dario, Margie Ramos, and Benita Chavez and husband Lupe, all of Plainview; three sons, Alfredo Ramos, Jr. and wife Donna, Sammy Ramos and wife Emma, and Martin Ramos and wife Anel, all of Plainview; two sisters, Janie Cortez of Lubbock and Pauline Salas of Plainview; two brothers, Manuel Gonzalez of Abilene and Eddie Gonzalez of Plainview; 23 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Her parents; a sister, Mary Herrera; and a brother, Martin Gonzalez Jr., are deceased.

Carl L. Tillerson Jr.
LUBBOCK -- Memorial services for Carl L. Tillerson Jr., 81, former Plainview resident, will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul´s-on-the-Plains Episcopal Church.
Arrangements are by Rix Funeral Directors.
Mr. Tillerson died March 18, 2005, in Glendale, Ariz.
He was born May 6, 1924, in Wichita Falls. He graduated from the University of Texas in 1947 with degrees in accounting and physics.
He served with the U.S. Navy during World War II and was a lieutenant junior grade on the minesweeper, the USS Ransom.
He moved to Plainview in 1971 when he bought the International Harvester dealership. He was a member of St. Mark´s Episcopal Church in Plainview and also served on the Plainview City Council and the Plainview Country Club board. He retired in 1985 and moved to Austin. He moved to Lubbock in the late 1990s.
On Sept. 14, 1951, he married
Donna Faye Houston and they had two daughters, Brooke and Leslie. He married
Penny J. Sherrod on Oct. 6, 1978.
Survivors include his wife; five children, Brooke Kalisvaart of Round Rock, Leslie Mendoza of Pflugerville, Charlie Sherrod of Glendale, Ariz., Teresa Tipton of Austin and Roy Sherrod of Lubbock; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family suggests memorials to The Windows of St. Paul´s-on-the-Plains Episcopal Church, 1510 Ave. X, Lubbock, TX 79401.
