Funeral services for Clinton Mark Wright, 43, will be at 11 a.m. Monday in First Baptist Church of Halfway with Rev. Bentley Gwin, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Halfway cemetery by Lemons Funeral Home.
Mr. Wright died Thursday, March 24, 2005, in Plainview.
He was born Sept. 23, 1961, in Plainview. He attended Hart schools and graduated in 1979. He was a professional horseshoer.
Survivors include a son, Kasey Wright of Lubbock; his mother, Karen Mogg, and husband Rex of Plainview; his father, Clinton Wright of Hart; three sisters, Keila Wright and Kenda Griffin, both of Plainview, and Karolyn Wright of Austin; and a brother, Nick Wright of Chandler.
The family will receive friends from 3-4 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Curtis Shivers
TULIA - Funeral services for Curtis Shivers, 39, will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Jackson Chapel Church of God in Christ with the Rev. Henry Jackson, pastor, and the Rev. Melvin Tatum officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill cemetery by Wallace Funeral Home.
Mr. Shivers died at 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2002, in Swisher Memorial Hospital.
He was born Oct. 20, 1963, in Lubbock where he grew up and graduated from Estacado High School. He attended New Mexico State University in Las Cruces and moved to Tulia in 1984.
He worked for Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Plainview for the past 10 years as an order filler and fork lift operator.
He was a member of the Church of God in Christ Jackson Chapel.
On March 21, 1987, he married
Sherri Powell in Tulia.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Shayla Shivers of Tulia and Sameria Smith of Floydada; one son, Terrance Powell of Tulia; his mother, Charlie Mae Shivers of Lubbock; two brothers, Michael Shivers of Lubbock and James Shivers Jr., of Dallas; five sisters, Patricia Shivers and Gloria Russell, both of Abilene, Demetria Shivers and Katrice Shivers, both of Lubbock, and Wanda Perry of Houston; and his grandmother, Jesse Mae Parker of Calvert.

Mary Maxine Needham

Mrs. Needham died Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2002, in Graham Oaks Care Center.
She was born July 16, 1920, in Glen Dean, Ky., the daughter of the late Jesse Theodore and Mellie Vera Walker Jolly.
On Jan. 30, 1982, she married
Richard E. Needham in Graham.
She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church where she served as a volunteer for the activity center and was an outreach leader in her Sunday school class.
Survivors include her husband; three daughters, Shirley Ann Eirtle of Graham, Lula Leah Savage of Blessing and Wanda Louise Brown of Tucson, Ariz.; four stepdaughters, Ruth Ellen Adair of Graham, Margie Wright of Plainview, Marilyn Edlund of Fort Worth and Sharon Franklin of Arlington; a stepson, Marshall Crouch of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

Charles Owen Hawkins
Funeral Mass for Charles Owen Hawkins, 76, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Jim McCartney, pastor, officiating.
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens by Kornerstone Funeral Directors of Plainview.
Mr. Hawkins died at 6:45 am. Saturday, Sept. 3, 2005.
He was born Sept. 24, 1928, in Vernon to Owen Southern and Cecilia Laughoff Hawkins.
He grew up in Vernon and served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married
Lila Harris on July 18,1947, in San Francisco, Calif. He moved to Plainview in 1965 and was an auto mechanic for Maggard-Nall Motor Co. and McGavock Motors. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
For the past five years, he lived in the home of Jarvis and Ken Farrow.
Survivors include his wife; five daughters, Vickie Hutton of Shamrock, Glynda Jackson Patton of Edmonson, Debbie Morphis of Levelland, Mary Ann Shackelford of Rogers, Ark., and Teresa Holloman of Searcy, Ark.; a son, Russell Hawkins of Bentonville, Ark.; two sisters, Willie Mae Lloyd of Decatur and Alice Coleman of Albuquerque, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A son, Charles Owen Hawkins, and a grandson, Brandon Shackelford, are deceased.

Martha Ellen Huffman

Mrs. Huffman entered into heaven on Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, in South Fork, Colo.
She was born March 3, 1933, in Cordell, Okla., to Roy and Edith Smith Boatright. She married
Edgar Samuel Huffman. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Watauga.
Survivors include her husband, Ed, of 25 years; her mother of Plainview; a son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Debbie Miks of Round Rock; three daughters and two sons-in-law, Karen Miks of Houston, Rosabeth and Arnold Robbins of Lubbock and Tisha and James Fagan of Temple; a daughter-in-law, Regina Huffman of Hale Center; a brother and sister-in-law, Don and Carolyn Boatright of Lago Vista; and 12 grandchildren.
Her father; a son, Rob; and a daughter, Lisa Egan, are deceased.

John E. McCune
AMARILLO -- Graveside services for John Ervin McCune, 78, were at 10 a.m. today in Llano cemetery with the Rev. Billy Nickell, pastor of First Assembly of God, officiating.
Arrangements were by Schooler-Gordon Funeral Directors.
Mr. McCune died Friday, Aug. 26, 2005.
He was born Nov. 19, 1926, in Loving to William and Emma Preston McCune.
Mr. McCune joined the U.S. Navy in 1944 and served as a seaman on the USS Chipola in the Pacific during World War II.
He married
Veda Maxine Aston on June 7, 1946.
He graduated from Hardin-Simmons University in 1962 with a bachelor of science degree in mathematics and graduated from Southern University in Baton Rouge, La., with a master of science degree in chemistry. He taught in Texas public schools for 33 years before retiring in 1991 from Plainview Independent School District.
Mr. McCune´s leisure activities included family, pets, gardening and traveling. His last trip was in May when he visited the WWII Memorial in Washington, D.C.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Janine Gayhardt and Brenda Shie of Amarillo and Becky DeOrnellas of Columbia, Mo.; two sons, John and Ron McCune of Austin; 10 grandchildren, Melinda, Renee, Jimmy, Steve, Katherine, Amy, Tammy, Sammy, Pamela and Karina; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Galen McCune of Fort Worth; and three sisters, Louise Clark of Lubbock and Imogene Davis and Norma Stark of Fort Worth.
His parents, and three brothers, Raymond, Vernon and Glen McCune, are deceased.
