Ethel Lee Burrell, 77, of Evadale, died, Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service was held Friday, May 14 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at Morse Cemetery in Buna.
A native of Buna, she was a lifelong resident of Evadale.
Survivors include her daughter, Omarine Humble of Evadale; sister, Jean Whitmire of Evadale; and one grandchild.

Carole Ann Plake Williamson, 62, of Silsbee, died Tuesday, May 11, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service was held Friday, May 14 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at Davis Cemetery in Fawil.
A native of Amelia, she was a housewife.
Survivors include her husband, Douglas Williamson of Silsbee; son, Barclay Wade Love of Little Cypress; daughters, Alice Alexander of Green River, WY and Celese Love Lewis of Silsbee; brother, Dickey Plake of Evadale; and two grandchildren.
Edgar McNeely
Pastor Edgar McNeely, 78, of Vidor, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service was held Friday, May 14 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at Holland Cemetery in Kountze.
A native of Kountze, he had been in ministry 43 years. His last pastorate was at Midway Baptist Church in Kountze. He was a United States Army and Merchant Marine World War II veteran.
Survivor include his wife, Delorous Kincer Robertson McNeely of Vidor; sons, Terry Lynn McNeely of Garland, Greg Robertson of Houston, Marv Robertson of Orange, Brad Robertson of Beaumont and Bill H. Robertson of Vidor; daughter, Carliss McNeely Jones of Vidor; and five grandchildren.
Lorine Palmer
Lorine Parks Palmer, 92, of Lumberton, died Sunday, May 16, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, May 18 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont under the direction of Forest Lawn Funeral Home also in Beaumont.
A native of Silsbee, she had lived in Lumberton 15 years and was a retired nurses aide from Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Survivors include her son, James Park Sr. of Pine Ridge; sister, Bertie Moore of Kentucky; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
William Grant
William Spencer “Bill” Grant, 82, of Kountze, died Thursday, May 13, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hosptial in Beaumont.
A graveside service was held Tuesday, May 18 at Village Mills Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze.
Survivors include sons, Kenneth Grant of Copperas Cove and Stephen Grant of Wildwood; daughter, Cathy Crooker of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Linda Ray
Linda Lavelle Ray, 50, of Lumberton, died Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service was held Saturday, May 15 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont with burial at Claybar Haven of Rest Cemetery also in Beaumont.
A native of Vidor, she had lived in Lumberton three years and was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, James Ray of Lumberton; mother, Genelle Akin of Lumberton; stepson, Joey Ray of Eufala, AL; stepdaughters, Michelle Gainbores of Fort Campbell, KY and Jennifer Bell of Lumberton; brother, Rick Akin of Lumberton; sister, Paula Akin of Sarasota, FL; and one grandchild.

Suevenia Shaw, 81, of Beaumont, died Thursday, May 13, 2004 at her home.
Funeral service was held Wednesday, May 19 at Proctor’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial at Kirby Cemetery also in Silsbee.
Survivors include son, Reginald Kyles of Silsbee; daughters, Arnita Sullivan of Orange and Murrell Merchant of Beaumont; brother, John D. Shaw of Atlanta, GA; sister, Bernice Polly of Atlanta, GA; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Joseph Sharp
Joseph Bryan Sharp, 32, of Silsbee, died Monday, Sept. 6, 2004, in an automobile accident near Woodville.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 9 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at Knupple Cemetery also in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at the funeral home.
He was a correctional officer at the Gibb Lewis Unit in Woodville.
Survivors include his wife, Chrystal Grisham Sharp of Silsbee; sons, Collin Sharp and Travis Sharp, both of Silsbee; mother, Inez Sharp of Silsbee; brothers, Rev. Cleve Sharp of Buna, John Sharp, Stephen Sharp, and Samuel Sharp, all of Silsbee and Daniel Sharp of Buna; and sister, Bridgett Jones of Silsbee.
