Bobby Lee Fountain, 70, of Silsbee, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A graveside service was held Saturday, Aug. 7 at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home also in Silsbee.
Survivors include his wife, Jo Nell Fountain of Silsbee; sons, Mark Fountain and Kent Fountain, both of Silsbee; daughters, Jo Lee and Susan Fountain, both of Silsbee; and two grandchildren.
Carla Belt
Carla Jean Different Belt, 42, of Kountze, died Thursday, Aug. 5, 2004 at her home.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 7 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Silsbee with burial at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
A native of Palestine, she was a longtime resident of Lumberton before moving to Kountze one year ago.
Survivors include her husband, Donald Belt Jr. of Kountze; son, Aaron Michael Leger of Lumberton; daughter, Ashley Mechelle Leger of Baytown; parents, Gene and Pat Different of Lumberton; brothers, Tim Different of Palestine and David Different of Lumberton; and grandparents, Ira and Deora kinsey of Athens.
Mary Coe
Mary Lorene Coe, 91, of Kountze, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004 at her home.
A graveside service was held Sunday, Aug. 8 at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
A native and lifelong resident of Kountze, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her son, B.A. Coe of Kountze; sister, Lenelle Richarson of Kountze; two grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Ruby Nickelson
Ruby Stewart Nickelson, 69, of Evadale, died Friday, Aug. 6, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service was held Monday, Aug. 9 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at Antioch Cemetery in Buna.
A native of Pineland and a longtime resident of Evadale, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her daughters, Diane Stuckey of Silsbee, Darlene Smith of orange and Donna Terrell of Buna; brother, Sonny Mack Townsend of Evadale; sister, Ethel White of Beaumont Colony; and three grandchildren.
Arthur McClusky
Arthur Edwin McClusky, 87, of Kountze, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004 at Lumberton Rehabilitation Center in Lumberton.
Funeral service was held Sunday, Aug. 8 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Kountze with burial at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Sour Lake.
A native and lifelong resident of Hull, he was a owner and operator in the construction industry and was also the former mayor of Sour Lake.
Survivors include his wife, Anna Bell Pelham McClusky of Kountze; sons, James Page of Orange, Charles Edward Page of Kountze and Joe Neal McClusky of Jasper; sisters, Tommie Lee Granger of Spurger and Dessie Merle McClusky of Sour Lake; brothers, Thurman E. McClusky of Silsbee and Charles Edward McClusky of Austin; nine grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Geneva Smith
Geneva Crain Pickard Parrish Smith, 78, of Rosevine, died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2004 at Silsbee Convalescent Center in Silsbee.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Aug. 7 at Starr Funeral Home in Hemphill.
She had lived in Rosevine since 1974, moving there from Orange.
Survivors include her husband, the Rev. Eddis Smith of Silsbee; sons, James Parrish of Nederland, Keith Pickard of Highlands, Greg Pickard of Orange, Bruce Pickard of Ashland, KY, Royce Parrish of Pineland and Perry Parrish of Fairfield, CA; daughters, Martha Clark of Silsbee and Judy Standley of onalaska; sisters, Lavita Gupton of Tennessee, Nona Perry of Bossier City and Linda Durham of Lufkin; brother, Vetma Crain of Athens; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Treva Veneda Henin
Funeral services for Treva Veneda Henin, 92, of Silsbee will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2004 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with interment at Resthaven Cemetery also in Silsbee.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Henin died August 9, 2004 at Silsbee Oaks Nursing home in Silsbee.
She was a homemaker and a native of Oklahoma.
Survivors include daughters Gwen Newman and husband Don of Silsbee and June Briggs and husband Robert of Lumberton; five grandchildren, Kathy Duncan of Humble, Terri Burns of Silsbee, Scott Briggs of Silsbee, Jay Briggs of Lumberton and Timothy Briggs of Magnolia; eleven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
