Linda Higgins, 55, of Lumberton, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005 in Lumberton.
Funeral service was held Monday, Feb. 28 at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont with burial at Claybar Haven of Rest Cemetery also in Beaumont.
A native of Birmingham, Alabama, she was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband, Jerry Higgins; son, Ernest Stanford of Beaumont; daughters, Malene Ingle of Lumberton, Dawn Mitchell of San Antonio and Jackie Thies of Las Vegas; brother, Archie Chandler of Sunderland, Massachusetts; sisters, Carol Fagan and Jean Johnson, both of Birmingham; and ten grandchildren.
Charlie Kibby
Charlie Kibby, 95, of Spurger, died Thursday, Feb. 24, 2005 in Silsbee.
A Masonic graveside service was held Saturday, Feb. 26 at Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger under the direction of Riley Funeral Home in Woodville and conducted by the Snow River Lodge 385.
A native of Leggett and a lifelong resident of Spurger, he was a retired pipefitter/welder.
Survivors include his daughter, Mary Ann Sheffield of Lumberton; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Emerson Irvine
Emerson Irvine, 85, of Silsbee, died Monday, Feb. 28, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital.
Funeral service is pending with Proctor’s Mortuary in Silsbee.
Gwendolyn Elam
Gwendolyn Elam, 47, of Silsbee, died Friday, Feb. 18, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Feb. 26 at Proctor’s Mortuary in Silsbee with burial at Withers Cemetery in Kirbyville.
Survivors include her parents, Elisha McMahon Jr. and Mable McMahon, both of Kountze; sons, Cleyon McMahon of Beaumont and Jimmy McMahon of Houston; daughter, Leondra Arline of Beaumont; brothers, Elisha McMahon III of Silsbee and William McMahon and Brad McMahon, both of Houston; sisters, Patricia Butler, Cynthia Collins and Tima Simmons, all of Silsbee, Brenda Page and Kimberly McMahon, both of Houston and Sharon Boykin of Lafayette, Louisiana; and four grandchildren.

C.P. Pope, 74, of Fred, died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005 at Hermann Memorial Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service was held Friday, Feb. 25 at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville with burial at Campground Cemetery.
A former resident of Beaumont, he had lived in Fred the past 10 years and was a retired pipefitter inspector with Texaco Refinery in Port Arthur.
Survivors include nieces, Mary Ann Reeves of Lufkin, Cindy Walls of Deer Park and Carolyn Guidry of Lumberton; and nephews, Bobby F. Pope of Beaumont and John Kirk of Silsbee.
Mark Robertson
Mark Alan Robertson, 33, of Silsbee, died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 5 at New Hope Church Of God In Christ in Silsbee under the direction of Robinson Community Funeral Home in Jasper with burial at Kirby Cemetery also in Silsbee. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, March 4 at the church.
A native and lifelong resident of Silsbee, he was a correctional officer at Larry Gist State Jail.
Survivors include his wife, Raushihah Robertson of Silsbee; mother, Patsy Robertson of Silsbee; sons, Shaqille Robertson, Simeon Robertson and Kayson Lockett, all of Silsbee; daughter, Kimberly Reese of Silsbee; sisters, Felecia Bass and Shelia Horn, both of Silsbee, Tyreski Washington of Houston, Arlinda Bush of Buna and Regina Robinson of Houston; and brothers, Ronald Roberton of Silsbee, Gary Robertson, Darrell Robertson, Ronnie Robinson, Keenan Robinson, Loren Robinson, Spurgeon Robinson, and Julian Robinson, all of Houston and Renard Robinson of Washington.

Ronald Lloyd Hare, 62, of Evadale, died Saturday, May 7, 2005 at his home.
Funeral service was held Monday, May 9 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee with burial at Cunningham Cemetery also in Silsbee.
A lifelong resident of Evadale, he was a welder and millwright.
Survivors include son, Ronald L. Hare II of Evadale; daughter, Rhonda Blair of California; brother, Monroe Hare of Vidor; sisters, Vanissa Barclay of Silsbee and Sylvia Maass of Orangefield; and nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
