Ida Mayme Barfoot Frost
Services for Ida Mayme Barfoot Frost, 102, of Athens are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Warren officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Frost died Aug. 3, 2000, in Athens.
She was born Jan. 15, 1898, in Scurry County to James Edward and Sally Maude Brown Barfoot.
Mrs. Frost was a graduate of Murchison High School. A lifelong member of the Presbyterian church, she was also active in the Order of the Eastern Star, where she served as Worthy Matron on two occasions. She retired as a licensed vocational nurse in Dallas in 1972.
She was preceded in death by husbands, Bert M. Cline, in 1937, and W.P. Frost, in 1956; daughter, Vee Cline Hanna; brother, C.M. "Doc" Barfoot; and sisters, Elva B. Coker and Eddie B. Smith.
Survivors include son, Lt. Col. (Ret.) Edbert C. Cline of Athens; grandsons, Dr. Mark H. Cline and Kelly Hanna of Dallas; granddaughter, Denise Cline Lebkowsky of Waco; two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Arthur Hall, John Barfoot, Brett Lebkowsky, Kelly Hanna, Rick Lebkowsky and Dr. Jim Turner.
Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
Marion Barth Hinderer
A memorial service for Marion Barth Hinderer, 91, of Lake Jackson is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Chapelwood United Methodist Church in Lake Jackson. Arrangements are under the direction of Freeport-Lakewood Funeral Home of Lake Jackson.
Mrs. Hinderer died Aug. 4, 2000, in Lake Jackson.
She was born April 27, 1909, in Pittsburgh, Penn.
Mrs. Hinderer attended school in Pennsylvania and graduated from H.C. Frick Training School for Teachers in 1930. She taught school in Pittsburgh and later received her bachelors degree from University of Pittsburgh. in 1952, she moved to Henderson County and received her masters degree and counselor certification from East Texas University in 1960. She retired and moved to Lake Jackson in 1979. She was a member of Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
Survivors include sons and daughters-in-law, Byron F. Jr., and Sharon Hinderer of Austin, Carolyn B. Hinderer of Clute and James H. and Dorothy H. Hinderer of Dallas; daughter and son-in-law, Marion E. "Betty" and Howard W. Phillips; 12 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chapelwood United Methodist Church.
Franklin M. Whitten
Services for Franklin M. Whitten, 54, of Chandler are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Chandler Memorial Funeral Home with Stephen Nipp officiating.
Burial will follow at Chandler Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.
Mr. Whitten died Aug. 5, 2000, in Tyler.
He was born Jan. 22, 1946, in Camden, Ark.
Mr. Whitten was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church and worked as a fitter and welder at Howe-Baker Engineer Inc.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Susie Whitten; and brother, George Whitten.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Whitten of Chandler; father, Emmett Whitten of Chandler; sons and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Stephanie Whitten of Tyler and Elijah Whitten of Chandler; daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and Brian Marshall of Chandler, Susie and Fred Tumulak of Chandler and Shanta and Douglas Ferris of Chandler; brother, William Whitten of Louisiana; and eight grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

He was born July 30, 2000, in Athens.

William Peyton Graham

Mr. Graham died Sept. 26, 2000, in Temple.
He was born July 2, 1919, in Alba to C.L. and Hattie Reese Graham.
Mr. Graham was a lifetime resident of Henderson County. He was a Methodist. Mr. Graham worked as an electrician. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943-45 as an investigator, and was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife, Mable McElroy Graham of Trinidad; daughters and son-in-law, Darla and James Humphries of Waco and Tina Speak of Chandler; son, Bobbie Joe Graham of Granbury; brothers, Raymond Graham of Houston and Delroy Graham of Corsicana; sister, Ruth Hickman of San Antonio; and 10 grandchildren.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Kipper Wayne Hartline
Services for Kipper Wayne Hartline, 27, of Gun Barrel City are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Roselawn Chapel in Seagoville.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens under the direction of Roselawn Funeral Home & Cemetery of Seagoville.
Mr. Hartline died Sept. 26, 2000.
He was a police officer for the Gun Barrel City Police Department.
