Lizzie Nell Howe
Graveside services for Lizzie Nell Howe, 66, of Dallas are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at County Line Cemetery in Anderson County with the Rev. Raymond Smith officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Howe died Aug. 1, 2000, in Dallas.
She was born Oct. 20, 1933, in Henderson to Crawford Virgil Waylon and Lela Mae Davis Black.
Mrs. Howe was a resident of Dallas most of her life. She was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Jamie Pruitt of Kemp; brothers, J.D. Black of Athens and Virgil Ray Black of Canton; sister, Vera Mae Goodman of Canton; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Honorary pallbearers will be Timmy Wiseman, John Demoin, J.D. Black and Marvin Black.
Family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Kenneth Shipman
Services for Kenneth Shipman, 60, of Kemp were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Seven Points with the Rev. Eston Williams officiating.
Burial followed at Gentry Mills Cemetery in Hamilton under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home of Seven Points.
Mr. Shipman died Aug. 1, 2000, in Duncanville.
He was born July 6, 1940, in Hamilton to Ira and Bessie Shipman.
Mr. Shipman was an independent truck driver.
Survivors include wife, Peggy Shafer; sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Cheryl Shipman of Marshall and Glenn and Judy Shipman of Odessa; daughter and son-in-law, Deeann and Donnie Owens of Seven Points; sisters and brother-in-law, Evelyn and Rabbit Fuqua of Hamilton, Frances Hunter of Burleson and Christine Longino of Burleson; grandchildren, Jessica, Misty, Jacob, Tricia and A.J. Shipman and Joshua and Jeremy Owens; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Paul Lowe, Bobby Greenhaw, Curtis Shepherd, Tommy Fuqua, Ricky Fuqua, Jim Boatwright and Josh Boatwright.

Larry Woodard
Services for Larry Woodard, 52, of Mabank are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank with the Revs. Kenneth Hensley and Don Teague officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mr. Woodard died Aug. 2, 2000, in Athens.
He was born Aug. 5, 1947, in Sulphur Springs to Garner Howard and Nellie Berry Woodard.
Mr. Woodard was a member of Payne Springs Baptist Church and Roddy Lodge of Mabank.
Survivors include son, Scott Woodard of Mabank; stepson, James Murphy of Kemp; mother, Opal Woodard Everett of Payne Springs; brothers, Jim Woodard of Sunnyvale, Charlie Woodard of Payne Springs and Truman Woodard of Kaufman; sister, Mary Finley of Tyler; great-aunt, Janett Crow of Marshall; special companion, Carolyn Hyde of Mabank; and many other family members.
Pallbearers will be Royce Davis, Royce Mixon, Richard Craft, Wayne McDonald, Chris Hunter and Mike Hutchison.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charles Teague, Jackie Nailing, Cotton Moore, Jeff Woodard and Wayne Nance.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Lunch will be served for family and friends at Lighthouse Baptist Church in Payne Springs at 11:30 Friday.

Olive Viola Bristow
Services for Olive Viola Bristow, 87, of Athens are pending with Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Bristow died Aug. 3, 2000, in Athens.

Charlie Huey Banks
Graveside services for Charlie Huey Banks, 90, of LaRue were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Carroll Springs Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mr. Banks died Sept. 24, 2000, in Athens.
He was a resident of LaRue since 1985. He was a self-employed roofing contractor and a Baptist.
Mr. Banks is survived by numerous friends.

Fred Engel
Services for Fred Engel, 80, of Enchanted Oaks are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Jude Catholic Church in Gun Barrel City with Father Andrew Melel and Howard Palms officiating.
Burial will follow at 2 p.m. Thursday at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
A recitation of the Rosary is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday at Eubank Chapel in Mabank.
Mr. Engel died Sept. 25, 2000, in Athens.
He was born Aug. 27, 1920, in Chicago, Ill., to George and Mary Kelly Engel.
Mr. Engel was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church, the Grand Knights of Columbus, Knights of the Esquestrin, Order of the Holy Sepulcher of Jerusalem and was a past president of the Lions Club. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He served during World War II and Korea and was a prisoner of war for 33 months in Japan.
He was preceded in death by his brother, George Engel.
Survivors include his wife, Alexa Engel of Enchanted Oaks; son, Steven Engel of Mabank; daughters, Melanie "Molly" Eichenberger of North Carolina and Linda Hunt of Coppell; sister, Mary D'Annunzio of Dover, Del.; seven grandchildren; and other family members.
Pallbearers will be Jason Smith, Casey Smith, Chris Eichenberger, Kyle Engel, John Wroblski and Joshua Hunt.
Family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Constance "Connie' E. Mason
Services for Constance "Connie" E. Mason, 76, of Gun Barrel City are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eubank Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Terry Thomison officiating.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mrs. Mason died Sept. 25, 2000, in Athens.
She was born Sept. 6, 1924, in Oklahoma to Patrick and Eula Doyle.
Previously of Irving, she lived in Gun Barrel City for 25 years. She was a Catholic. Mrs. Mason was a member of the Gun Barrel City Garden Club and secretary for Tops.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Mason, in 1995.
Survivors include son, John Mason of Murchison; daughter, Carol Harris of Scurry; four grandchildren; and other family members.
Pallbearers will be Travis Harris, Justin Mason, Otis Hall, Herman Mayfield, Doug Harris and Dudley Mewbill.
Family will receive friends from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Patlonie Taylor
Graveside services for Patlonie Taylor, 88, of Seven Points were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Baker Cemetery in Kaufman County with the Rev. Jim Renfro officiating. Arrangements were under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mrs. Taylor died Sept. 24, 2000, in Athens.
She was born June 19, 1912, in Cleburne to Patrick and May Lonie McGeehee Reaves.
Mrs. Taylor lived in Seven Points for 30 years and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cap City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ely Taylor, in 1984; two sisters; and two brothers.
Survivors include her daughter; Ora Dell McDonald of Seven Points; sons, Bill Garland of Grapevine, Jack Garland of Puebla, Mexico, and Jerry Garland of Texarkana; brothers, Johnny Reaves of Fort Worth and Jack Reaves of Houston; sister, Bobbie Kim of California; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other family members.
