Tom Dave Pierce Jr.
Services for Tom Dave Pierce Jr., of Palestine are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday at Foster & Brown Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jack Mills officiating.
Burial will be in County Line Cemetery, under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home.
Mr. Pierce died March 30, 2003, in Athens.
He was born Aug. 9, 1919, in Kerens to Tom Dave Pierce Sr. and Elizabeth Knighton Pierce. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of Midway Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge of Palestine. He was a rancher his whole life.
He was preceded in death by his son, Tom Dave Pierce III, in 1995.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Pierce of Palestine; son and daughter-in-law, Dewey and Linda Pierce of Palestine; four grandchildren, Courtney Pierce, Snapper Pierce and Christi Pierce, all of Palestine, and Toby Pierce of Houston; and numerous brothers and sisters in the Palestine area.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Mitchell, Joe A. Marshall, Wilsey McMahon, Perry Feagins, Marvin Halbert and Johnny Walker.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Will Davis Boone
Graveside services for Will Davis Boone, 52, of Chandler are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Concord Cemetery in Henderson County with Bill Whitehead officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home of Chandler.
Mr. Boone died Dec. 8, 2001, in Tyler.
He was born Aug. 4, 1949, in Tyler.
Mr. Boone worked as a self-employed cable installer. He served in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Boone.
Survivors include his wife, Melanie Boone of Chandler; mother, Lois Boone of Bullard; sons and daughter-in-law, Terry and Theresa Boone of Oxford, Ala., Will David Boone of Chandler and Keith Stanford of Van; daughter, Tonia Lee of Lindale; brothers, Billy Dale Boone of Van, Bobbie Wayne Boone of Huntsville, Willey Dale Boone of Gilmer and Ricky Lynn of Florence; sisters, Lina Fonfara of Swan, Brenda Louise Hampton of Chandler, Bessie Jena Hollowell of Flint and Melissa Ann Rodgers of Chapel Hill; grandchildren, Heath Lee, Bridgett Lee and Nikolas Alexander Boone; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Hayes Jerry Rice, Jim McGill, Jess Hampton, Jack Wilmoth and Mike Aiken.
Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Williams, Lonnie Lee and Jeffrey Hampton.
Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Teresa Joy Dowdy
Services for Teresa Joy Dowdy, 27, of Eustace are scheduled for noon Tuesday at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank.
Burial will follow at Chinquapin Cemetery in Van Zandt County under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Ms. Dowdy died May 13, 2000, in Eustace.
She was born Dec. 25, 1972, in Dallas to Jerry and Joyce Turner Dowdy. She was a lifetime resident of Eustace and was Pentecostal.
Survivors include mother, Joyce Dowdy of Eustace; father, Jerry Dowdy of Dallas; brothers, George Wayne Dowdy of Scurry and Jimmy Dowdy of Mabank; grandmother, Janie Rice of Athens; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other family members.

Dena Mae Hendricks
Services for Dena Mae Hendricks, 81, of Round Rock are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at First United Pentecostal Church in Athens.
Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Cross Roads under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Hendricks died May 14, 2000, in Round Rock.
She was born April 17, 1919, in Bethel community.
Mrs. Hendricks was a longtime member of First United Pentecostal Church in Athens before she moved to the Round Rock area in 1990.
She was preceded in death by her son, Eddie Don Hendricks.
Survivors include her husband, Walter L. Hendricks of Round Rock; daughter, Loretta Darlene Johnston of Round Rock; son, Phillip Edward Hendricks of Chandler; grandchildren, Sheila Dawn Johnson of Austin, Shannon Michele Mallow of Round Rock and Korina Lazardo of Lovinton, N.M.; and seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation is scheduled for 9 a.m.-noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
Jimmy Leon Marion
Memorial services for Jimmy Leon Marion, 24, of Paris are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at Wood Funeral Home Chapel of Deport.
Mr. Marion died May 13, 2000.
He was born Sept. 22, 1975, in Athens to Jimmy Loyd Marion and Debbie Payton.
Mr. Marion was preceded in death by his brother, Michael J. Horton, in 1994; and sister, Brandy Jo Marion, in 1974.
Survivors include his wife, Shawna Marion of Paris; sons, Justin Woods and Christopher Marion of Paris; daughters, Brittany Woods and Taylor Marion of Paris; father, Jimmy Loyd Marion of Athens; mother, Debbie Carter of Lancaster; brothers, Terry Allen Payne of Arlington, Mikeal Preston Marion of Big Springs and Christian Davis of Corsicana; and sister, Leanna Marion of Tyler.

Mrs. Wilcox died May 13, 2000, in Tyler.
She was born Jan. 28, 1915, in Honoraville, Ala., to Andrew Cecil and Irene Sheppard Frazier.
Mrs. Wilcox was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church Palestine.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Melvin Rae Wilcox Jr., in 1996; and brother, Felix Frazier.
Survivors include daughters, Mrs. Donnie "Marion" Harris and Mrs. Ronnie "Mary" Harris, both of Palestine, and Alice Ann Wilcox of Houston; sons, Melvin. R. "Trip" Wilcox III of Tyler and Andrew F. Wilcox of Plano; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
