Services for Pete Busby, 65, of Mabank are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday at Eubank Memorial Chapel of Mabank with the Rev. Kenneth Hensley officiating.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mr. Busby died March 27, 2002, in Athens.
He was born Sept. 28, 1936, in Eustace to Robert B. Busby and Ida J. Bryant Busby. He was a rancher and served in the United States Air Force. He was a lifetime resident of Eustace and Mabank.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Janie Busby of Mabank; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carl and Colene Busby of Mabank, Bob and Linda Busby of Blooming Grove, Don Busby of Eustace, and Ricky and Betty Busby of Mabank; sisters and brothers-in-law, Vona Nason of Mabank, Wanda and Bill Prokop of Kemp, Linda and Horace Oliver of Wolf City, and Louise and Mike Gibbs of Dallas; and numerous other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Carl Busby, Bob Busby, Don Busby and Ricky Busby.
Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday in the funeral home.
Todd Reid Hart
Services for Todd Reid Hart, 32, of Athens were held at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Dogwood Baptist Church in Athens with the Rev. Joe Smith officiating.
Burial followed at Athens Cemetery under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens.
Mr. Hart died March 24, 2002, in Athens, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
He was born Dec. 16, 1969, in Greenville, S.C., to J.C. Hart III and Vicky Aaron Hart.
He was a member of Sand Springs Missionary Baptist Church. He was employed by Carrier Corporation of Tyler for more than 10 years. He was a member of Sheet Metal Workers No. 337 and was serving on the executive board. He was a member of the Piney Woods Game Club. He graduated from Athens High School in 1988.
Mr. Hart was preceded in death by his mother.
Survivors include his wife, Jennifer Hart of Athens; sons, Dylan David Reid Hart and Julius Cody Hart, both of Athens; his father; father-in-law, Henry Hardin; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Sherry and Red Trammell; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Hart Jr.; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers were Michael Aaron, Tubby Kyle, Mark Ashley, Joey McEvoy, Adam Sharp and Steven Lookabaugh.
Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Starr, Jason Hardin, David Walls, John Johnson, John Paul Bowles, David Stepp, George Aaron, Kelly Harris and Paul Lee.
Sherry Joyner
Graveside services for Sherry Joyner, 42, of Kilgore are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Danville Cemetery with Curtis Wood officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Rader Funeral Home of Kilgore.
Mrs. Joyner died March 26, 2002, in Longview.
She was born Jan. 23, 1960, in Haskell.
Mrs. Joyner attended Mabank public schools. She moved to Kilgore in 1978.
Survivors include her husband, Ricky Joyner of Kilgore; daughters and sons-in-law, Mistie and Michael Sickler of Kilgore, Mindy and Derrell Sheffield of Kilgore and Kerri Joyner of Kilgore; five sisters, Vickie Roberts of Corsicana, Terrie Pace of Kilgore, Brenda Carter of Athens, Donna Pollock of Dallas and Debbie Wisniewski of Nashville, Tenn.; parents, Betty and Kenneth Young of Mabank and Alvin Carter of Dallas; grandchildren, Tiffany Wallace of Kilgore, Makylia Austin of Kilgore, Michael Sickler Jr. of Kilgore, Ricky Joyner of Kilgore and Donovan Sickler of Kilgore; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Donald Ray 'Billy' McNeill
Memorial services for Donald Ray "Billy" McNeill, 66, of Gun Barrel City are scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Friday at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank, with the Rev. Paul Hurley and Sam Vituosky officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Eubank Cedar Creek Funeral Home in Mabank.
Mr. McNeill died March 27, 2002, in Athens.
He was born Aug. 3, 1935, in Lumberton, N.C. He was employed as a contractor in the construction business. He was an avid fisherman. Previously of Indiana, he had lived in Gun Barrel City since 1979.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Wheeler and Polly Maynard McNeill; and a daughter, Jamie Price.
Survivors include his wife, Emma Ann McNeill of Gun Barrel City; daughters, Charlene Ford of Powell and Linda Fairchild of Camden, Ind.; sons, Donald Ray McNeill Jr. of Columbus, Ind., and James Price of Lafayette, Tenn.; four grandchildren, Jeff Ford, Joey Ford, Keith Robertson and Michelle Price; and numerous other relatives.
Roy Starks
Graveside services for Roy Starks, 45, of Seagoville, were held 2 p.m. today in Elm Grove Cemetery in Van Zandt County, with the Rev. R.L. Boyd officiating.

Mr. Starks died March 23, 2002, in Dallas.
He was born June 25, 2956, in Dallas. He was a lifetime resident of Seagoville, an avid fisherman and he loved to play dominoes.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lee Roy Starks.
Survivors include his mother, Melba Starks of Seagoville; daughter, Lora Ann Williams of Dallas; sisters, Cheryl Smith of Palestine, Brenda Marino of Malakoff, and Glenda Langford of Seagoville; brother, Lee Earl Starks of Corpus Christi; and girlfriend, Beverly Brashear.
Billy 'Bill' Marvin Starnes
Services for Billy "Bill" Marvin Starnes, 81, of Athens are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Foster & Brown Funeral Home in Athens with the Rev. Bob Tice officiating.
Burial will be in Oaklawn Memorial Park.
Mr. Starnes died March 27, 2002, in Athens.
He was born Oct. 24, 1920, in Elmont to Felix and Lela Brown Starnes. He had lived in Athens since 1981, moving here from McKinney.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and two brothers.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Dottie Starnes of Athens; daughters and sons-in-law, Eileen and Ron Wood of Rowlett, and Marie and Steve Graham of Athens; grandchildren, Ronnie Crabtree of Rowlett, Charlie and Liz Rudd of Balch Springs, Ann and Jerry Hornsby of Murchison; six great-grandchildren; brother and sister-in-law, Alton and Ruth Starnes of Dallas; nephew and wife, Steve and Mary Hilliard of Fort Worth; and two sisters-in-law.
Pallbearers will be Ron Wood, Steve Graham, Charlie Rudd, Ronnie Crabtree, Jerry Hornsby and Steve Hilliard.

Kirk P. Stickrod
Services for Kirk P. Stickrod, 85, formerly of Eustace, were held Wednesday at Ralph J. Wittch-Riley-Freers Funeral Home in Grandview, Iowa, with the Rev. Michael Stickrod officiating.
Burial was in Grandview Cemetery.
Mr. Stickrod died March 10, 2002, at Unity Hospital.
He was born March 13, 1916, in Illinois City, Iowa, to Shedrick and Lottie Estabrook Stickrod. He was raised by Joseph and Lottie Stickrod Thomas. He was a veteran of World War II, assigned to the Armed Guard Branch of the U.S. Navy, serving in the Mediterranean Sea, Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, a member of the American Legion Post No. 27 and Royal Neighbors of America No. 1292. He was a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Rose and Mattie; and one brother, Hank.
Survivors include his wife, Bertha Stickrod of Grandview, Iowa; sons and daughters-in-law, Jerry and Julie Stickrod of Sioux City, Iowa, and Bill and Diana Stickrod of Grandview; daughter and son-in-law, Judy and Merwin Buster of Eustace; 12 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Joe Thomas of Normal, Ill.
Pallbearers were Rodney Stickrod, David Stickrod, Tom Stickrod, Carl Bonnichsen, Craig Bonnichsen and Casey Bonnichsen.
Honorary pallbearers were Carroll Martin, Gene Phillips and Travis Buster.
Memorials may be made to the Veterans Memorial Plaza at Grandview Corners.
