Baby Templeton died Aug. 11, 2000, in Athens.
He was born Aug. 11, 2000.
Survivors include mother, Brenda Kay Roundtree of Athens; father, Allen Paul Templeton of Mesquite; brothers, Bobby Don Templeton, Allen Paul Templeton II and Dalton James Templeton, all of Kemp; sister, Amanda Janette Templeton of Kemp; grandparents, Ava Trith of Payne Springs, Janie Allen of Dallas and Randall Dorries of Denison; and several aunts and uncles.
Connie Driver Crowell
Services for Connie Driver Crowell, 79, of Athens were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Eubank Chapel in Canton with the Rev. Joe Smith officiating.
Burial followed at Haven of Memories Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home Inc. of Mabank.
Mrs. Crowell died Feb. 18, 2000, in Tyler.
She was born July 11, 1920, in Van Zandt County to E.W. and Willie Agee Driver.
Mrs. Crowell lived in Athens for a number of years and was a member of Sand Springs Baptist Church in Athens. She worked for Texas Instruments in Richardson for 24 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James A. "J.B." Crowell; and her parents.
Mrs. Crowell is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Olivet and Hank Wells of Mesquite, Phyllis and John Carrier of Commerce and Jerry and Jack Crook of Cherry Log, Ga.; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Edd Haynes of Aubrey; 10 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Bill Templeton, Howard Alfred, Johnnie Fisk, Paul Saunders, Buddie Trammell and Bob McDonald.
Sammy Ray "Sam' Oatman
Services for Sammy Ray "Sam" Oatman, 52, of Canton are scheduled for 3 p.m. Tuesday at Eubank Chapel in Canton with the Rev. Tim Watson and Jesse Johnson officiating.
Burial will follow in Cool Springs Cemetery in Van Zandt County under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home Inc. of Canton.
Mr. Oatman died Feb. 20, 2000, in Houston.
He was born Oct. 14, 1947, in San Antonio to Junior Elmer and Dollie Marie Wilson Oatman.
Previously of Garland, he lived in Canton since 1973. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Canton. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 31 years.
Mr. Oatman was preceded in death by his father; and brother, Elmer Oatman.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Donna Kay Oatman of Canton; son, Samuel Todd Oatman of Canton; daughter, Holly K. Oatman of Canton; mother, Dolly Oatman of Kerrville; brother, Milton Oatman of Great Falls, Mont.; sisters, Mary Griffin of Kerrville, Ann Page of Kingsland, Sue Peoples of Pasadena, Frances Peterman of Austin and Brenda Hitchcock of Pasadena.
Pallbearers will be Doug Lawson, Ray McQueen, Terry Mobley, John Lane, Jamie Warren, Bobby Bryant, Glenn Morris and Danny Etheridge.

Frances D. Burch
Funeral services for Frances D. Burch, 69, of Athens were held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Leagueville Baptist Church with the Rev. Brian Adair officiating.
Burial followed at Blackjack Cemetery under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Burch passed Aug. 11, 2000, in Athens following an extended illness.
She was born Dec. 19, 1930, near Lake Athens. In 1986, she and her husband returned to her birthplace at the lake, sharing their mutual fondness for the area.
She was born to E.R. and Ladonia Kirk Caddell. She married Cecil A. Burch on Aug. 12, 1983. Mrs. Burch was a homemaker.
Among her many interests was her desire to finish her college education, which she successfully completed in 1982 with top class honors at Henderson County Junior College. She received her associates degree.
Frances' family dedication, kindness and endless humor will be missed by all with whom she unselfishly shared her life.
Survivors include her husband, Cecil Burch of Athens; daughters and sons-in-law, Claudia and Brian Maas of Rosston and Cynthia and Jerry Jones of Hewitt; sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Jan Wagner of Canton, Gregg and Cyndie Wagner of Chandler, Leroy and Karen Burch of Athens and Wesley and Bonnie Burch of Golden; sisters, Zuella Hawley of Oklahoma, Norma Williams of Leagueville, Victoria Chapman of Callander Lake and Jane Rector of Athens; 20 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shane Howeth, Clay Howeth, Wesley Wagner, Brandon Jones, Brady Jones and Blake Jones.

Family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Janice Page Tolleson Wedell
Graveside services for Janice Page Tolleson Wedell, 68, of Dallas are scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday at Athens City Cemetery. Dr. Robert Tucker will be officiating and services are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Wedell died Nov. 16, 1999, in Plano.
She was born May 20, 1931, in Refugio to Max and Ellice Epperson Tolleson. She was an employee of Braniff Airlines and J.C. Penney's. She lived in Dallas since 1943 and was a member of Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Max Tolleson.
Mrs. Wedell is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Mike Wedell and Max Wedell, both of Dallas, and Scott and Nicki Wedell of Denison; daughter, Kelli Henderson of Denton; mother, Ellice Tolleson of Gun Barrel City; sister, Tana McKean of the Cedar Creek Lake area; and grandchildren, Lauren Wedell of Dallas, Katie Dilts of Denton and Jordyn Wedell of Denison.
