Juanita Holloway
Services for Juanita Holloway, 78, of Larue are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at New York Baptist Church with the Rev. Jack Mills officiating.
Burial will follow at 1 p.m. Thursday in Idabel, Okla., under the direction of Foster & Brown Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Holloway died June 2, 2002, in Athens.
She was born Aug. 1, 1923, in Idabel, Okla., to E.W. and Nellie Wortham.
Retired from the Idabel National Bank, Mrs. Holloway was a member of New York Baptist Church. She also was a housewife, schoolteacher and mother.
Mrs. Holloway was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin Coolidge Holloway Sr.; parents; sister Willa Mae Tapley; and grandson Calvin Holloway III.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Liz and Charles E. Harris; son, Calvin Holloway Jr.; sisters Nelsie Warren, Virginia Blackstock; brother, D. W. Wortham; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Billy Jack Reynolds, Hugh Reynolds, Seyburn Tindel, John Boykin, Elton Gracey and Duey Reynolds.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Shawn Stanfield
Services for Shawn Stanfield, 30, of Larue and formerly of Malakoff are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home Chapel in Athens.
Burial will follow at Larue Cemetery in Larue under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mr. Stanfield died May 31, 2002, in Malakoff.
He was born May 27, 1972, in Colorado Springs, Colo., to Gary Don Stanfield and Orlynne Marx Stanfield.
Mr. Stanfield was a resident of Larue since 1999. He served as a police officer in Kerens. He was a graduate of the Eustace High School class of 1991, where he played football and won numerous awards and trophies in weightlifting. He also graduated from the Oklahoma State Horse Shoeing School in 2000.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Joey Collum.
Survivor include his wife, LeAnn Stanfield of Larue; daughters, Alexis Cheyenne Stanfield of LaRue and Kendra Lynn Ward of Eustace; son, Steven Wade Simmons of Larue; father and stepmother, Gary Don and Earline Stanfield of Malakoff; mother, Orlynne Stanfield of Orville, Calif; maternal grandmother, Mary Marx of Orville, Calif; stepsisters, Vivian Cooper of Tyler and Barbara Barker of Kermit; stepbrother, Cecil Collum of Crescent Heights and numerous uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Pallbearers will be Kalon Rollins, Cleve Maxey, Jeremy Kinman, Cecil Collum, Bud Barker, Dale Duggins, Wayne Duncan, Tommy Hyde and Devin Buckley.
The family will receive friends from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Services for Stella Nadine Wells, 75, of Little Rock, Ark., are scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Ruebel Funeral Home Chapel in Little Rock with the Rev. Henry Hudson officiating.
Burial will follow at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in North Little Rock under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wells died June 2, 2002, in Little Rock.
She was born June 12, 1926, in Wheeler to Dan and Mita Givens Craig.
Mrs. Wells worked for Worthen Bank as a teller from 1965 until 1972. She was a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Little Rock.
Survivors include her husband, Clayton John Wells; sons and daughter-in-law, Clayton Craig Wells of Tulsa, Okla., and Phillip John and Becky Wells of Jonesboro, Ark.; sisters and brother-in-law, Lorene Thomas of Little Rock and Louise and Eddie Broadbelt of Pahlmyer, Pa.; brothers, and sisters-in-law, Dr. Dan and Edith Craig of San Antonio and Dr. Don and Delia Craig of Lubbock; grandsons, Patrick Wells of Tulsa, Okla., Adam Wells of Fayetteville, Ark., Kevin Wells of Minneapolis Minn., and Robert Wells of Jonesboro, Ark.

Mrs. Hughes died Sept. 7, 2002, in Athens.
She was born July 28, 1925, in Emory to James and Mary Caldwell McLeod.
Previously of Dallas, she had lived in Gun Barrel City since 1970. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Hughes of Gun Barrel City; son, James Littlejohn of New Braunfels; daughters, Sandra Gardner of Dublin, Mary Clark of Dallas and Patricia Whitley of Kemp; stepdaughter, Kathy Sanders of Bon Weir; sister, Maude Koontz of Fort worth; 13 grandchildren; five grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; and other relatives.
Philip R. Pence Sr.
Graveside services for Phillip R. Pence Sr., 79, of Tyler are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday at Athens Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Carter.
Arrangements are under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home of Athens.
Mr. Pence died Sept. 8, 2002, in Tyler.
He was born Aug. 11, 1923, in Lexington, Ky., to Lyman M. and Pearl Bohannon Pence.
Mr. Pence was a longtime resident of Texas, having lived in Tyler the past 40 years. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church in Tyler, and a lifelong choir member. As a child, he attended the first National Boy Scout Jamboree, and later served as an adult Scout leader. He was a World War II Veteran of the United States Army and served with Merrilla's Marauders Division in Burma. He retired from Kelly-Springfield in Tyler.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Holland Pence on Nov. 3, 2001; brother, Charles M. Pence; and a sister, Norma Mentero.
Survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Janet Pence of Waco, and Phillip and Pam Pence of Fort Worth; grandchildren, John Pence of Dallas, Sarah Pence of Aspen, Colo., Beth Pence, Carrie Pence, and Scott Pence, all of Fort Worth; and two great-grandchildren.

L.J. Rasco
Graveside services for L.J. Rasco, 80, of Austin and formerly of Payne Springs, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Haven of Memories Memorial Park in Canton, with Rickey Rasco officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
Mr. Rasco died Sept. 7, 2002, in Austin.
He was born Oct. 6, 1921, in Frankston, to Arthur Jefferson and Mattie Ethel Reynolds Rasco, and grew up in the Payne Springs community. He operated a piano business in Austin, where he lived most of his life.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Marie Rasco of Austin; three sons and daughter-in-law, Michael H. Rasco, Calvin E. Cowher, and David and Cindy Cowher, all of Houston; six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday at Eubank Funeral Home in Canton.
