Billy Wayne Nash
Services for Billy Wayne Nash, 73, of Mabank are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at First Assembly of God in Mabank with the Rev. Royce Barker officiating.
Burial will follow in Goshen Cemetery in Henderson County under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mr. Nash died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999, in Dallas.
He was born Oct. 14, 1925, in Kaufman to William Martin and Ester Adell Hall Nash. Previously from Illinois, for the past 26 years he had lived in Mabank, where he was a member of the First Assembly of God Church. He retired in 1972 from the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Nash is survived by his wife, Anna Mae Nash of Mabank; daughter, Debbie Winn of Washington; son, William Mark Nash of Mexia; sister, Janie Ellis of Nevada; and brother, Max Nash of New Caney.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6-8 p.m. Sunday.
Byron Wayne Boozer
Services for Byron Wayne Boozer, 57, of Athens are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church with Dr. Kyle Henderson officiating.
Burial will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Fair View Cemetery in Nacogdoches with the Rev. M.A. Ervin officiating under the direction of Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home.
Mr. Boozer died Jan. 16, 1999, at East Texas Medical Center Athens.
He was born Sept. 22, 1941, in Nacogdoches to Byron and Mildred McKinley Boozer. He married Janis L. Ross on June 1, 1968. Mr. Boozer had been a resident of Athens since 1981 and a former resident of Greenville and Nacogdoches. He was a member of First Baptist Church. He was director of financial services at Trinity Valley Community College. He was a member of the Southwest Football Official Association for 26 years.
Mr. Boozer received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Stephen F. Austin University in Nacogdoches in 1965. He then received a master's of science degree from East Texas State in Commerce in 1984.
He was preceded in death by his father, Byron L. Boozer, in 1985.
Mr. Boozer is survived by his wife of 30 years, Jan Boozer of Athens; son, Jeff Boozer of Colorado Springs, Colo.; daughter, Krista Boozer of Mesquite; mother, Mildred Boozer of Nacogdoches; brother, Hyman Boozer of Nacogdoches; nephew, Ben Boozer of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law, Jennifer Ross of Tyler; aunts, Mildred Vines of Pasadena and Maurice Hartt of Nacogdoches; uncles, Harold Boozer of Nacogdoches and Leon McKinley of Welborn; numerous cousins and relatives.
Pallbearers will be Milburn Chaney, Mike Peek, Dr. W.P. "Rip" Drumgoole, Gene Molloy, Brett Daniel, James Quattlebaum, Dr. Vance Gipson and Dr. Eric Steger.
The family will receive friends between 5:30-7:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

P.A. Hurley
Services for P.A. Hurley, 81, of Gun Barrel City were held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank with the Rev. Ron Flurry officiating.
Burial followed at 2 p.m. in the Southland Cemetery in Grand Prairie under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mr. Hurley died Saturday, Jan. 16, 1999, in Athens.
He was born July 10, 1917, in Grand Prairie to Edd and Dora Atter Hurley and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Formerly of Towakoni, he lived in Gun Barrel City since 1988 and was a member of Legendary Baptist Church in Gun Barrel City and the VFW.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and one sister.
Mr. Hurley is survived by his wife, Mattie Hurley.
Wayne Hyde
Services for Wayne Hyde, 81, of Mabank will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank with the Rev. Don Teague and the Rev. Steve Glosup officiating.
Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery in Van Zandt County under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mr. Hyde died Jan. 17, 1999, in Kaufman.
He was born May 12, 1917 in Van Zandt County to William B. and Ottie Lee Sutton Hyde. He was a lifetime resident of Mabank and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Mr. Hyde is survived by his wife, Syble Hyde of Mabank; sons, Roger Hyde Jr. of Mabank, Joe Dean Hyde of Mabank and Billy Glenn Hyde and his wife, Donna, of Mabank; brothers, Bob Hyde of Eustace and Benny Hyde of Eustace; sisters, Dortha Becker of Mabank, Willie B. Prather of Emory and Helen Panter of Emory; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Pallbearers include Gregg Gilbert, Cody Hyde, Jeff Hyde, Ben Hyde, Royce Davis, and Richard Craft.
Honorary pallbearers include Jim Hyde and Tim Hyde.
Barbara 'BooBoo Kity' Moosberg
Services for Barbara "BooBoo Kity" Moosberg, 63, of Kaufman are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at Eubank Chapel in Canton with Bro. Freddie Pendleton and Bro. Charles Richardson officiating.
Burial will be at Haven of Memories Memorial Park under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Canton.
Mrs. Moosberg died Jan. 16, 1999, in Dallas at Medical City Hospital.
She was born Oct. 20, 1935, at Martins Mill to Albert Daniel and Gertrude Lancaster Daniel Mewbourn. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church of Kaufman. Mrs. Moosberg lived in a number of different places but in 1966, she and her husband moved to Canton and then to Kaufman in 1972.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert Daniel; a brother, Larry Mewbourn; and stepfather, Elam Mewbourn.
Mrs. Moosberg is survived by her husband, Pat Moosberg of Kaufman; sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kim Moosberg of Kaufman and Duane and Karri Moosberg of Greensboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Brandon Moosberg of Kaufman and Claire Elizabeth Moosberg of Greensboro, N.C.; mother, Gertrude Mewbourn of Canton; brother, Richard Daniel of Myrtle Springs; sisters, Frances Collins of Kerens, Myra Bryner of Garland and Cheryl Mewbourn of Ben Wheeler; a large number of nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Horton, Nathan Moosberg, Jessie Daniel, Ray Stanfield, Scott Bryner, Larry McNeely and Lee Carter.

Charles D. Franklin
Services for Charles D. Franklin, 67, of Payne Springs are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Eubank Memorial Chapel in Mabank with Jim Guess and John Spain officiating.
Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Seagoville.
Mr. Franklin died Jan. 17,1999, in Dallas.
He was born Dec. 6, 1931, in Helena, Ala., to Octavia and Maggie Pearl McDaniel Franklin. He was previously of Seagoville and had lived in Payne Springs for the past 28 years. He had been a member of the First Assembly of God in Van. Mr. Franklin was a devoted employee with Southwestern Steel Container in Dallas for 28 years. Mr. Franklin owned and operated Melton Truck Lines in Shreveport, La., for 17 years. He was a veteran and served in the U.S. Army. Mr. Franklin was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Martha Ann Franklin.
Mr. Franklin is survived by his wife of 47 years, Martha "Liz" Franklin; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Jimmy and Debbie Franklin of Destin, Fla., and Chuck Franklin of Seagoville; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Ricky Martin, of Seagoville, Barbara and Richard Reeves of Mesquite, Sandra and Larry Moore of Crandall and Darlene and Johnny Moore of Crandall; sisters, Pauline Pennington, Annie Hatcher and Louise Hatcher of Alabama; 16 precious grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers include Michael Martin, Ricky Martin, Jeremy Martin, Chris Reeves, Waylon Franklin, Danny Moore, Shane Reeves and Corey Reeves.
