Services for Floy McShan Luce, 87, of Kemp are pending with Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mrs. Luce died May 21, 2000, in Athens

Marble Ryan
Services for Marble Ryan, 85, of Athens are pending with Foster and Brown Funeral Home of Athens.
Mrs. Ryan died May 21, 2000, in Athens.

Fred Fleming Adams Jr.
Services for Fred Fleming Adams Jr., 60, of Crandall are scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday at Rock Church in Seagoville with the Rev. Dick Brannan officiating.
Burial will follow at Crandall Cemetery under the direction of Anderson Clayton Bros. of Kaufman.
Mr. Adams died Nov. 14, 1999, in Dallas.
He was born March 9, 1939, in Dallas to Fred Fleming and Katherine Joyce Godfrey Adams. He was a graduate of Crandall High School and Henderson County Junior College. He received his bachelor's and master's degrees from East Texas State College. He was a professor at Trinity Valley Community College for over 35 years. He was in reserve law enforcement for 25 years and served as chief of police in Crandall, as a reserve law enforcement officer for the Kaufman County Sheriff's Department and as a volunteer fireman in Crandall. He was a lifetime member of the Methodist church in Crandall and of the NRA.
Mr. Adams is survived by his wife, Marilyn Adams of Crandall; son and daughter-in-law, Bart and Janice Webster of Combine; daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Cavin McNeil of Winnsboro, Alicia and Barry Smith of Crandall and Amanda Adams of Crandall; sister, Joyce Clark of Mabank; six grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Visitation is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Richard "Sunny' Crawford Sr.
Services for Richard "Sunny" Crawford Sr., 75, of Tool are scheduled for 3 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Tool. The Rev. Michael Caldwell will be officiating and services will be under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mr. Crawford died Nov. 13, 1999, in Tool.
He was born April 1, 1924, in Atlanta to William Gobel and Mabel Oden Crawford. Previously of Dallas, he lived in Tool for 25 years. He was a member of the Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church and the Cedar Creek Lake Country Club. He was a mason and an avid golfer. He also served in the U.S. Air Force during World War II.
Mr. Crawford is survived by his son, Ricky Crawford Jr. of Brownsboro; sister and brother-in-law, Marie and John Ray Keller of Athens; cousin, Sammy Cezeaux of Houston; and nieces, nephews and other family members.
Visitation is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cedar Creek Lake United Methodist Church in Tool.

Horace H. Fitts
Services for Horace H. Fitts, 69, of Athens were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church in Linden with the Revs. Wayne Putman and Larry Tart officiating.
Burial followed in Linden Cemetery under the direction of Haaland Family Funeral Home of Linden.
Mr. Fitts died Nov. 14, 1999, in Athens.
He was born Dec. 11, 1929, in Cass County to Johnny Reece and Ida Mae Castner Fitts. He was a retired building supply representative and served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Fitts is survived by his wife, Marlene Fitts of Athens; son and daughter-in-law, Skip and Jenice Fitts of Palestine; sisters, Venita Mrok of Houston and Mary Stephenson of Naples; and grandsons, David Reese Fitts and Aaron Matthew Fitts, both of Palestine.

William Demotte Gutzler
Services for William Demotte Gutzler, 75, of Star Harbor are scheduled for 1 p.m. Saturday at Tomlinson Funeral Home Chapel in Malakoff.
Burial will be at a later date under the direction of Tomlinson Funeral Home of Malakoff.
Mr. Gutzler died Nov. 14, 1999, in Star Harbor.
He was born March 18, 1924, in River Falls, Wis., to Phillip and Minnie Farrington Gutzler. He was a retired sales engineer for Honeywell and was a member of the Malakoff Mason Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Gutzler is survived by his wife, Georgia Gutzler of Star Harbor; daughters, Gail Gutzler Wacker of Houston, Mary Dziminski of Dallas, Barbara Altobellz of Houston and Elizabeth Ann Smith of Bellville; sons, Marc Gutzler of Malakoff, Scott Gutzler of Dallas and John Gutzler of San Antonio and sisters, Mary Kathern Petersen of River Falls, Wis. and Phyllis Magnus of Webestor, Wis.

Carl Edward Hillhouse
Graveside services for Carl Edward Hillhouse, 82, of Lamesa are scheduled for 4 p.m. Tuesday at Lamesa Memorial Park. The Rev. Charles Greenwall will be officiating and services are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home of Lamesa.
Mr. Hillhouse died Nov. 14, 1999, in Big Spring.
He was born Oct. 17, 1917, in Promise Ridge, Ark. He was the groundskeeper at Lamesa Memorial Park for over 20 years and also served during World War II.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Anderton, on Oct. 5, 1996.
Mr. Hillhouse is survived by his son, Earl Hillhouse of Lamesa; daughters, Mary Carpenter of Lamesa and Kathy Walls of Farmington, NM; sister, Inez Outcalt of Athens; brother, Isaiah Hillhouse of Pompano Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Michelle Meares, Traci Davidson, T.J. and Howard Carpenter and Brad, Bobby and Brandi Walls; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mable Leonard
Graveside services for Mable Leonard, 84, of Gun Barrel City are scheduled for 2 p.m. Wednesday at Oaklawn Cemetery in Mabank with the Rev. Kenneth Hensley officiating. Services are under the direction of Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mrs. Leonard died Nov. 14, 1999, in Athens.
She was born Nov. 17, 1914, in Hardy, Ark., to Fount and Ollie Martin. Previously of Missouri, she lived in Gun Barrel for 20 years and was a Methodist.
Mrs. Leonard is survived by her cousins, A.W. and Sara Jennings of Gun Barrel City; and nephew, Jerry Hastings of Oklahoma.

Mary Sue Phillips
Services for Mary Sue Phillips, 75, of Malakoff are pending with Eubank Funeral Home of Mabank.
Mrs. Phillips died Nov. 11, 1999, in Athens.
