Martha Linda 'Sissy' Broussard
PINEVILLE, La. - Martha Linda "Sissy" Broussard, 56, of Pineville died Wednesday at Huey P. Long Medical Center.
A native of Port Arthur, she was a resident of Pinecrest Development Center in Pineville, La. for the last 33 years.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Pinecrest Developmental Center Chapel in Pineville, La. with the Rev. Stephen Brandow officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Winnfield Funeral Home.
Survivors include two brothers, Fred Broussard of Livingston and Jerry Broussard of Midlothian.

Services for Thelma Courville, 76, of Port Arthur will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Catherine's Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Clavin 'Red' Donahoe
Clavin "Red" Donahoe, 54, of Pasadena died Sunday at Columbia Bayshore Medical Center.
A native of Tillar, Ark., he was a resident of Pasadena for 28 years. He was a carpenter for Brown and Root and a U.S. Army veteran of Vietnam.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Broussard's Mortuary in Winnie with the Rev. Jim Waxler officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Winnie. Visitation will be at noon Tuesday at the mortuary.
Survivors include his wife, Laura; two sons, Calvin Donahoe Jr. of Pasadena and Truman Donahoe of Old Katy; one stepson, Sam Loftin of Thicket; one stepdaughter, Gerita Loftin of Dayton; and six grandchildren.

Services for Dorothy Duchamp of Port Arthur will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
Alonzo 'Babe' Fontenot
Alonzo "Babe" Fontenot, 85, of Port Arthur died Monday at Christus St. Mary's Hospital.
A native of Mamou, La., he was a resident of Port Arthur since 1942. He was a welder for Port Drum, a veteran of the military and a member of St. Therese Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Mozhikuzhy officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park in Port Neches. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the church. A rosary will be read at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church.
Survivors include his wife, Winnie; one son, Kevin Fontenot of Port Arthur; one daughter, Mary Hagen of Creole, La.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Ross Friels, 46, of Port Arthur died Saturday at Christus St. Mary Hospital.

Marie Frensely Hall, 85, of Port Arthur died Sunday at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves.

E.G. 'Blackie' Griffis
PORT NECHES - E.G. "Blackie" Griffis, 73, of Port Neches died Monday at Christus St. Mary Hospital.
A native of Axson, Ga., he lived in Port Neches for 50 years. He was a retired construction worker from Local No. 450 and a 32nd-degree Mason with the Port Neches Masonic Lodge.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland with the Rev. John Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Lou Daws Griffis; three daughters, Kimm Griffis LeBlanc of Austin, Gaye Griffis Mikolon of Houston and Shannon Griffis Wysinger of Austin; a brother, Joe Bherns Griffis of Jacksonville, Fla.; a sister, Gladys Griffis McClendon of Jacksonville, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.

NEDERLAND - Adell D. Howell, 89, of Nederland died Sunday at her daughter's home.
A native of Louisiana, she was a longtime resident of Nederland. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Nederland, the Silvertones and the Hope Sunday School Class.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland with the Rev. Bobby Dagnel officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Linda Blasdel of Houston; and two grandchildren.

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. -- Webster Morris Laird Jr., 85, of Lawrenceville, Ga. died Monday at his home.

GILCHRIST - The Rev. Bob Morin, 91, of Gilchrist died Sunday at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Houston, he was a resident of Gilchrist for 38 years and was a retired minister.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Gilchrist with the Rev. L.C. Moore officiating. Burial will follow in High Island Cemetery in High Island under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Winnie. Visitation will begin at noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Willis of Caplen and Elinor Horn and Bebe Grantz, both of Crystal Beach; a brother, Jessie Morin of Houston; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
