Donald 'Bundy' Pope
CHESTER, S.C. - Donald "Bundy" Pope, 64, died Monday, Dec. 11, 2000, at his home. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel. Burial will follow at Rock Hill Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Calvin Morrow officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Debt Retirement, 830 North Jones Ave., Rock Hill, S.C.
Alice Riley
Alice Riley, 79, of Port Arthur died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2000, at Christus St. Mary's Hospital.
A native of Morgan City, La., she was a lifelong resident of Port Arthur and a homemaker. She was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. James Vanderholt officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Survivors include her husband, Henry Riley of Port Arthur; one daughter, Charlotte Dodwell of Houston; and one son, Gary Pierron of Texas City.
Agnes Ruth Romero
Agnes Ruth Romero, 82, of Johnson Bayou, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Park Place Medical Center in Port Arthur.
A native of Deweyville, she was a former resident of Orange, Deweyville and resided in Johnson Bayou for 58 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the United Pentecostal Church of Johnson Bayou.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the United Pentecostal Church of Johnson Bayou. Burial will follow at Head of the Hollow Cemetery in Johnson Bayou with the Rev. Loren Burnett of United Pentecostal Church and the Rev. Wade Lorman of the Oak Grove United Pentecostal Church officiating. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include one daughter, Brenda Faye Rodrigue of Johnson Bayou, La.; four sons, Allen Roy Romero of Bridge City and Rogerest Lee Romero, Howard Romero and Robert Paul Romero, all of Johnson Bayou, La.; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
O'Neil Thibodeaux Jr.
O'Neil Thibodeaux Jr., 69, of Port Arthur died Thursday, December 7, 2000, at Christus St. Mary Hospital. Services will be at 7 p.m. Friday at Mount Olive Baptist Church in New Iberia, La. with the Rev. Lenel Watson officiating. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Two Cemetery in Loreauville, La. under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
James Thomas
James Thomas, 72, of Port Arthur died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at Dubuis Hospital in Port Arthur.

Clifton Williams
Clifton Williams, 92, of Port Arthur died Monday, December 11, 2000, at his home.
A native of Big Cane, La., he was a resident of Port Arthur for 69 years. He retired from Gulf Oil with 35 years of service. He was a member of Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church and was a former deacon and member of Usher Board No.1
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Solid Rock Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Nash officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife Catherine; three sons, Clifton Williams of Houston, and Kenneth Williams and Darrell Williams, both of Port Arthur; four daughters, Cheryl Matthews of Houston and Betty Williams, Sandra Johnson and Paula Feathers, all of Port Arthur; one brother, Ervin Williams of Port Arthur; two sisters, Francis Chenevert of Alexandria, La. and Willie Jett of Baton Rouge, La.; and18 grandchildren.
Mary Lou Thompson
ALVIN - Mary Lou Thompson, 73, died Sunday, December 10, 2000, at Houston Diagnostic Hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home with the Rev. Marshall Monroe officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Juanita "Nita" Wolfford
NEDERLAND - Juanita "Nita" Wolfford, 69, of Nederland died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, at her residence.
She was a native of Abbeville, La. and lived in Port Arthur most of her life. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at St. Charles Catholic Church with the Rev. Michael Baluyot officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches. A rosary will be recited and a wake will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland.
Survivors include her husband Liles Wolfford of Nederland; two sons, Lawrence "Bubba" Wolfford and Freddie Wolfford, both of Nederland; one daughter, Theresa Jett of Nederland; three sisters, Irene Hawkins of Houston, Sue Swearingen of Warren and Faye Langlinais of Nederland; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

CORPUS CHRISTI - Judy Peters Adams, 49, of Corpus Christi died Sunday, November 19, 2000.

NEDERLAND - Lela Beatrice Aldridge, 85, of Nederland died Saturday, November 18, 2000, at her home.
A native of White County, Ark., she lived in Nederland most of her life. She was a housewife.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Cemetery. Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, William G. "Bill" Aldridge of Vidor, James "Jimmy" Aldridge of Nederland; a brother, Bill Rose of Beaumont; five grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
