James B. Allen
BEAUMONT - James B. Allen, 75, of Beaumont died Saturday, November 18, 2000, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
A lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was a retired seaman for Mobil Oil.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in World War II.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Broussard's Mortuary in Beaumont.
Burial will follow Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.
Survivors include his wife, Betty Rae Allen; two daughters, Debbie Schiff of Port Arthur, Beckie Hales of Vidor; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

HOUSTON - Services for the Rev. Joseph Lee Bertrand, 67, of Houston will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Hyacinth Church in Deer Park. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Lawndale Cemetery.
Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. with a prayer at 7 p.m. Monday at Grandview Funeral Home in Pasadena.
He died Saturday, November 18, 2000, at Hermann Hospital in Houston.

Services for the Rev. Ellis Grogan, 68, of Port Arthur will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 21, at the True Vine Baptist Church with the Rev. Frank Phillips officiating.
Burial will be at the Edgerly Cemetery in Vinton La.
He died Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2000 at his residence.
Edward Daniel Hall
Edward Daniel Hall, 81, of Port Arthur died Saturday, November 18, 2000, at Christus St. Mary Hospital.
A native of Quitman, he was a resident of Port Arthur for 50 years.
He was a retired fireman last employed at Chevron.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was a member of the Nathan Corley Masonic Lodge 294.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Logan officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation is from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Survivors include two daughters, Darlene Aldaiz, Diane Hall, Danette Martinez, Denese Turner all of Port Arthur; two sons, Jeffery L. Hall of Dilley, Stephen S. Hall of Arkansas; two sisters, Lillie Faye Coley of Port Arthur, Doris Cross of Vidor; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Marlene Ann Normand Hamilton
Services for Marlene Ann Normand Hamilton, 61, of Port Arthur will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy D. Hunter officiating.
Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
Visitation is from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
She died Friday, November 17, 2000, at Park Place Medical Center.
Robert James Lambright
PORT NECHES - Robert James Lambright, 76, of Port Neches died Sunday, November 19, 2000, at his home.
A native of Fullerton, La., he lived in the Port Neches area since 1947.
He was a retired pipefitter at Texaco Chemical with 39 years of service.
He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland and was a U.S. Army veteran serving in World War II.
He was also a member of the South Park Masonic Lodge in Beaumont.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Gazebo in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with the Rev. Steve Hays officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland.
Survivors include his wife, Edith Lambright; a son, Robert James Lambright Jr. of Port Neches; a sister, Edna Pharis of Sugarland; and a brother, Lloyd Lambright of Nederland.

Services for Marian W. Landry, 81, of Port Arthur will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home.
