MAURICEVILLE - Visitation for Viola G. Gilbert, 65, of Mauriceville died will be from 2 to 9 p.m., and a rosary will be recited at 6 p.m., Wednesday at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home. Cremation at Haven of Rest Crematory will follow the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the M.D. Anderson Cancer Research Hospital in Houston.
Carrie M. Dubose Jordan
BEAUMONT - Carrie M. Dubose Jordan, 89, of Beaumont died Friday, June 9, 2000, at Lindbergh Health Care Center.
A native of Deweyville, she was a former resident of Port Arthur before moving to Beaumont 31 years ago. She was a silver consultant with Ardan's.
Services were at 1 p.m. Monday at L.M. Williams and Sons Funeral Home in Beaumont. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery in Orange.
Survivors include three daughters, Bettie Bernard of Bridge City, Beverly Lowenstein of Austin and J. Charlotte Jordan of Beaumont; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Edward Joseph Melancon
Services for Edward Joseph Melancon, 68, of Port Arthur will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Larry Gutierrez officiating. Entombment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.

RAHWAY, N.J. - Services for Fred Max "Tex" Nelson, 80, of Rahway, N.J., will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Levingston Funeral Home in Port Neches with the Rev. Michael Toland officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches.

Services for Anita H. Nico, 66, of Port Arthur will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with the Rev. Roderick Coats officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Park under the direction of Hannah Funeral Home East. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the church.
Thelma Ella Nolan
NEDERLAND - Services for Thelma Ella Nolan, 85, of Nederland will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Pat A. Riley Funeral Home with the Rev. Bobby Dagnel officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
Don Prejean
WINNIE - Don Prejean, 42, of Winnie died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
A native of Anahuac, he was a lifelong Winnie resident and a manager of R.S.C. Industrial Rentals.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Winnie with the Rev. John Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Winnie under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Winnie. Visitation will start at noon, and a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m., Tuesday at the mortuary.
Survivors include his father and stepmother, Morris and Carolyn Prejean of Winnie; two brothers, Scot and Jason Prejean, both of Winnie; two sisters, Pat Williams and Shelia Potter, both of Winnie, and his grandmother, Noeline Prejean of Winnie.
Marion Marie Prescott
Services for Marion Marie Prescott, 59, of Port Arthur will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Oliver Obele officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
Wilma Louise Stanaland
Wilma Louise Stanaland, 74, of Port Arthur died Sunday, June 11, 2000, at Park Place Medical Center.
A native of Missouri, she was a resident of Port Arthur since 1966. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Port Neches.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the First Assembly of God Church in Port Neches with the Rev. Ronnie Mitchem officiating. Burial will follow at 4 p.m. in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Garrison under the direction of Pat A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a son, Charles Stanaland of Livingston; three daughters, Bonnie Snelson of Port Neches, Eva Cloud of Port Arthur and Vickie Stanaland of Livingston; a brother, Bobby Watson of Newton; two sisters, Wanda Smith of Woodville and Oma Jean Blunt of Conroe; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
Gerald Wayne Zampini
PORT NECHES - Services for Gerald Wayne Zampini, 60, of Port Neches will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Charles Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Pat A. Riley Funeral Home in Nederland.
Memorial contribution may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Austin Boudreaux
Austin Boudreaux, 84, of Port Arthur died Wednesday, March 8, 2000, at his residence in Port Arthur.
He was a native of Bristol, La., and resident of Port Arthur since 1942. He was retired from Texaco with 38 years of service as an operator for the motor oil department and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and the Ushers Group at the church.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with the Rev. Stephen McCrate officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home. A rosary was recited Friday evening at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife Pearl Boudreaux of Port Arthur; two sons, Roland Boudreaux of Port Arthur and Fred Boudreaux of Huntersville, N.C.; three daughters, Marie Domingue and Nina Holland both of Port Arthur and Donna Shoemaker of Deweyville; a brother Ashton Boudreaux of Carencro, La.; five sisters Elvina Meche of Duson, La., Loretta Savoy of Silsbee, Leona Perrodin and Bertha Comeaux both of Lafayette, La., and Betty Savoy of Carencro, La.; 16 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
