Lisa McFarland Prosperie
Lisa McFarland Prosperie, 41, of Port Arthur died Thursday, March 9, 2000, at Christus St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur, she was a school teacher at West Groves Preschool in the Port Neches-Groves school district. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Port Acres and of the Texas State Teachers Association.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Bill Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Survivors include her husband Frank; her mother, Manon "Blue" McFarland of Port Arthur; and two brothers, Jerry W. Sparks of Port Arthur and Johnny W. Sparks of Arlington.
Margaret Hilton 'Sister' Pundt
Margaret Hilton "Sister" Pundt, 72, of Port Arthur died Friday, March 10, 2000 at Christus St. Mary Hospital.
A native of Jackson, Miss., she lived in Port Arthur most of her life. She was a self-employed hairdresser.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. Arrangements are under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include two sons, Cecil Hilton and Michael Hilton, both of Port Arthur; a sister, Johnnie Garrison of Beaumont; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Julie Rogers Cancer Institute.
Malcom J. Richard
Services for Malcom J. Richard, 49, of Port Arthur will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Oliver Obele officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Park under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Henriette 'Henrietta' Schkade
GEORGETOWN - Henriette "Henrietta" Schkade, 96, of Georgetown died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Wesleyan Nursing Home in Georgetown.
A native of Jarrell, lived most of her life in the Port Arthur/Groves area. She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Groves. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Survivors include three sons, Henry "Bill" Schkade of Walberg, Thomas Schkade of Fredericksburg and Lawrence Schkade of Arlington; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

NEDERLAND - Pete Sedtal, 67, of Nederland died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Nederland.

Doretha S. Wallace, 73, of Port Arthur died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Christus St. Mary Hospital.

NEDERLAND - Wayne C. Webb of Nederland died Friday, March 10, 2000, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.

Ida Bernice Albers
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Ida Bernice Albers, 79, of Albuquerque, N.M., died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Presbyterian Hospital in Albuquerque.
A native and longtime resident of Port Arthur, she moved to Albuquerque in 1993. She was a retired dental assistant and a member of the Naomi Society. She was also a member of the Altar Society at Trinity Lutheran Church.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with the Rev. Timothy Dinger officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Groves. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Survivors include one son, Phil G. Albers of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Diann M. Messuri of Albuquerque; and six grandchildren.

Hubert Babino
BEAUMONT - Hubert Babino, 84, of Beaumont died Friday, Feb. 25, 2000, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.
A native of Opelousas, La., he lived in Beaumont for 75 years. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Beaumont. Entombment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Mercy Funeral Home in Beaumont. A rosary will be recited at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Survivors include two sons, Patrick Pearson Babino of Kansas City, Kan., and Darrell Babino of Port Arthur; two daughters, Doris Narcisse of New Orleans and Johnnis Rubin of Port Arthur; one brother, Earl Babineaux of Opelousas, La.; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
