Charles Wilson O'Connell
Charles Wilson O'Connell, 71, of Port Arthur died Thursday at his home.
A native of Bridgeport, Conn., he was a resident of Port Arthur since 1990. He was a carpenter and a member of Carpenter's Union Local No. 502. He was also a member of American Legion Post No. 7.
A memorial service will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Matthew's United Methodist Church in High Island. Burial will follow in Haven of Rest Cemetery under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
Survivors include three sons, Timothy, Daniel and Kevin O'Connell; a daughter, Erin Richards; a stepdaughter, Toni Stewart of High Island; and several grandchildren.
Robert Rourke
Services for Robert Rourke, 89, of Port Arthur will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clayton Thompson Funeral Home in Groves with the Revs. Jack Leighton and Stephen McCrate officiating.
Aline Turner
Memorial services for Aline Turner, 83, of Port Arthur will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at St. George's Episcopal Church in Port Arthur. Burial was Sunday at Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly, La., under the direction of Levingston Funeral Homes in Groves.
Ivy Bernard
PORT NECHES - Services for Ivy Bernard, 79, of Port Neches will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland with the Rev. Mike Toland officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with military graveside rites. He died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Nederland.

Hilton Brent Davis
WEST ORANGE - Hilton Brent Davis, 64, of West Orange died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at his home.
A native of Houston, he grew up in Orange. After living in Los Angeles, Calif., he returned to Orange in 1933. He was self-employed as a motivational promoter with Brent Davis Seminars. He was a master prestidigitator (sleight-of-hand-magician). He was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Minneapolis, Minn.
Memorial funeral services will take place at a later date.
Survivors include his wife Betty; one stepdaughter, Charmaine Brazil of Phoenix, Ariz.
Thomas Huey Dies
Thomas Huey Dies, 64, of Port Arthur died Monday, Aug. 6, 2001, at his home.
A native of Church Point, La., he was a resident of Port Arthur since 1957. He was a welder with Boilermakers Local No. 587.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grammier Oberle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. and visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife Novella; his mother, Rita Dies of Church Point, La.; three daughters, Susan Lough of Groves, Judy Boudoin of Fannett and Jennifer Dies of Port Arthur; and four grandchildren.
Guong Duong
Guong Duong, 70, of Port Arthur died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at Doctors Hospital in Groves.
A native of Phang Rang, Vietnam, she was lived in Port Arthur for one year.
A religious prayer was held Monday, at Gabriel Funeral Home. An additional religious prayer is from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The last prayer will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Thi'ch Huye'n Vie't officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of the funeral home.
Survivors include one sister, Lieu Duong of Phang-Rang, Vietnam; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Santiaga Flores
Services for Santiaga Flores, 86, will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with the Rev. T.R. Blanco officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
She died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2001, at her home.
Eugene 'Gene' Gallier
Services for Eugene "Gene" Gallier, 89, of Port Arthur will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland with the Rev. Michael Baluyot officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park.
He died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at his home.
Alice P. Green
Alice P. Green, 75, of Port Arthur died Sunday, Aug. 5, 2001, at Mid-Jefferson Hospital in Nederland.
A native of Lake Charles, La., she has lived in Port Arthur for the last 59 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church.
Services will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy G. Vaughn officiating. Burial will take place Thursday at Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Richardson Funeral Home, Inc. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Her husband, Theodore is the only survivor.
Agnes 'Ha Ha' Hollis
BRIDGE CITY - Graveside services for Agnes Mae "Ha Ha" Hollis, 97, of Bridge City will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches with the Rev. Henry T. Anderson officiating. Services will be under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange.
She died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at Sunbridge Rehabilitation Care Facility in Pinehurst.
