HOUSTON - Services for Ruth Mae Graves Brathwaite, 72, of Houston will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Damascus Baptist Church in Houston. Burial will follow at Houston Memorial Gardens.
Wilson Joseph Broussard
JEANERETTE, La. - Wilson Joseph Broussard, 81, of Jeanerette, La., died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, in Jeanerette.
A native of Vermillion Parish, La., he was retired from Texaco in Port Arthur with 29 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at David Funeral Home in New Iberia, La., with the Rev. Michael Guidry officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. A rosary was recited Tuesday evening.
Survivors include one son, Craig Michael Broussard of Beaumont; and three grandchildren.

CRYSTAL BEACH - Graveside services for Veronica "Ronnie" Brown, 41, of Crystal Beach will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crystal Beach Cemetery.

Rosa Lee Citizen, 79, of Port Arthur died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Golden Triangle Convalescent Center.

NEDERLAND - Services for Ouida Dean, 86, of Nederland will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland with the Rev. Mike Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland.
Elmo Edwards
Elmo Edwards, 84, of Port Arthur died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2000, at his home.
A native of Guy, La., he was a resident of Port Arthur for 60 years. He was a member of Procter Baptist Church. He was retired from the power plant department of Gulf Oil with 38 years of service. He was a World War II Army veteran.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Levingston Funeral Home in Groves with the Rev. Rick Erwin officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife Bobby; two daughters, Kaye Evans of Huntsville and Joan Holt of Spring; three sisters, Bilie Sanders, Mable Denham and Clara Willis, all of Louisiana; one brother, Clarence Powell of Louisiana; and one granddaughter.

Graveside services John Anderson Hall, 80, of Port Arthur will be at 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at Houston National Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral home.
Ella Harrison
Ella Harrison, 97, of Port Arthur died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Christus St. Mary Hospital.
A native of Simmesport, La., she lived in Port Arthur for 64 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Progressive Baptist Church Missionary Society.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Progressive Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Hannah Funeral Home East. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service Saturday at the church.
Survivors include two daughters, Augustine Franklin of Port Arthur and Bernadette Lewis of Houston; and one sister, Maude Lee Eaton of New York.

GROVES - Graveside services for Charlotte Alfaro Kelley, 65, of Groves will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home.
Delbert H. King
GROVES - Delbert H. King, 82, of Groves died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves.
A native and lifelong resident of Port Arthur and Groves, he was a member of the Cullen-Hamilton Bible Class and the Methodist Men at the United Methodist Temple. In 1989, he was chosen Skipper of the Year by the Port Arthur Yacht Club.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the United Methodist Temple with the Rev. Roger Shuemate officating. Burial will follow in Houston National Cemetery at 3 p.m. with full military graveside rites, with the Rev. Tom Tift officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Levingston Funeral Home in Groves. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his wife Doris; one daughter, Sondra Ellerman of Springhill, Fla.; three stepdaughters, Rebecca Carter of Fannett, Jana Tuft of Boca Raton, Fla., and Elizabeth Ertman of New York; one brother, Owen King of Port Arthur; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Zulia King
STOWELL - Zulia King, 84, of Stowell died Sunday, Feb. 27, 2000, at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Port Berry, La., she lived in Stowell for 65 years. She was a homemaker.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church in Winnie with the Rev. John Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery in Winnie under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Winnie. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m., and a rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the mortuary.
Survivors include three daughters, Gracie Levier of Winnie, Virgie Thomas of Stowell and Mary Guillory of China; three sons, Merrick King Jr. and Morman King, both of Stowell, and John King of Houston; four sisters, Dorthy Bolow and Beulah Richard, both of Beaumont, Gladys Williamson of Opelousas, La., and Eula Franklin of Kansas City, Kan.; three brothers, Albert Dean of Kansas City, Kan., and Herbert and Horace Dean, both of Beaumont; 27 grandchildren; 57 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

Albertine Mader, 90, of Port Arthur died Saturday, Feb. 26, 2000, at his home.
A native of Glenco, La., she lived in Port Arthur for 85 years. She was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star Rachel Chapter No. 259.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul United Methodist Church with the Rev. Shirley Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Cemetery under the direction of Hannah East Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service Saturday at the church.
Survivors include one daughter, Ida Hypolite of Port Arthur; one son, Joe Gobert Jr. of Port Arthur; one sister, Mary McGee of Port Arthur; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
