ORANGEFIELD - Services for Tom B. McCarty, 79, of Orangefield, formerly of Port Neches, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Claybar Funeral Home in Bridge City with the Rev. David Harbour of the First Baptist Church of Orangefield officiating. A Masonic graveside service will follow in Garrison Cemetery in Orangefield with members of the Bridge City Masonic Lodge No. 1345
David Glenn Morgan
BEAUMONT - David Glenn Morgan, 27, of Beaumont died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, in Beaumont.
A native of Baytown, he was a resident of Beaumont most of his life. He was a manager at Chula Vista in Beaumont.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Green lawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include his father, Raymond Morgan of Port Arthur; his mother, Ila McGuire of Folsom, La.; five brothers, Tony Morrison of Big Springs, Jackie Morgan of Livingston, James Morgan and R. J. Morgan, both of Port Arthur and Jerry Morrison of Virginia; and two sisters, Janet Hustus of Clear Lake and Brandy Morgan of Port Arthur.

Rosemary Poye Singer
NEDERLAND - Rosemary Poye Singer, 78, of Nederland died Monday, Feb. 28, 2000, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Hemphill, she lived in Nederland since 1939. She was a retired bookkeeper from Cooper-Duke Insurance Co. in Beaumont with 15 years of service. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland, where she served on the Bereavement Committee, the Helping Hands, Meals on Wheels, and the Catholic Daughters Association.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with the Rev. Dan Malain officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Nederland. A scriptural rosary was recited Tuesday evening at the mortuary.
Survivors include her husband Elgin Singer of Nederland; and one sister, Anne Cohn of New York.
Vivian Frances Leger Turnbull
BEAUMONT - Services for Vivian Frances Leger Turnbull, 54, of Beaumont will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Burial will follow in China Cemetery under the direction of Broussard's Mortuary in Beaumont. A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the mortuary.

BEAUMONT - Graveside services for Lloyd L. Verdine, 76, of Beaumont will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Doyle Cemetery in Starks, La. Arrangements are under the direction of Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont.
Ella Julia Williams
Services for Ella Julia Williams, 83, of Port Arthur will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at New Light Baptist Church with the Rev. M.L. Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Johnson Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home.
Jack Clarke Williams
Jack Clarke Williams, 86, of Houston died Tuesday, Feb. 29, 2000, in Houston.
A native of Beaumont, he was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Lambda Upsilon and Tau Beta Pi honorary societies. He was also an Eagle Scout. Williams retired in 1978 as an officer of Texaco Inc. where he was in charge of the refining department.
A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Friday at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Drive in Houston with the Rev. Deborah Bogar Cooper officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Geo. H. Lewis and Sons Funeral Home in Houston.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Clarke Williams of Houston and one sister, Mary Smart Williams of Beaumont.
Dallas Guidry
Services for Dallas Guidry, 89, of Port Arthur will be at noon Monday at Harvest Time Bible Church with the Rev. Marvin Moore officiating. Burial will follow at Live Oak Cemetery under the direction of Gabriel Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Monday at the church.

Services for May Marie Guidry, 79, of Port Arthur will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home with the Rev. Phillip Nari officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A rosary was recited Sunday evening at the funeral home.
Geneva Lolette Jackson
GROVES - Geneva Lolette Jackson, 84, of Groves died Saturday, Feb. 5, 2000, at Park Place Medical Center.
A native of Pitkin, La., she was a resident of Groves for 62 years and a homemaker.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Clayton-Thompson Funeral Home in Port Arthur with the Rev. Phil Sigman officiating. Additional graveside services will be at 5 p.m. in Blue Branch Cemetery in Pitkin, La. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Survivors include a daughter, Betty Cotton of Groves; a son, James Jackson of Texas City; a brother, two sisters, Jimmie Downs of Lake Charles, La., and Rose Stewart of Crosby; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
